Our baby girl had a blast walking around and looking at the books. I will say I was not impressed with the staff some were pretty rude which surprised me. We came as a family and were very excited to get some board books to add to our daughters collection. Regardless of the staff we came out with a few books my daughter enjoyed and the coffee my coffee on our way out was delicious (my husband wasnt impressed with his.) Maybe well try a different store next time.

Great Book Store. This is a nice book store located in the center of downtown Naperville. Years ago this store would be literally buzzing with all the people inside. It was at one time THE meeting location for Naperville. When I visited the store it was sparsely populated with customers. As you walk in you get hit in the face with political books from Obama. Does politics have to be inserted in everything we do in America today? Im just saying. I go to a book store to have fun and browse the store with topics Im interested in. Hitting me in the face with politics as I walk in the door doesnt work for me. Put the political books in the back and allow those searching for that to find them. Use the front isles with books that appeal to the masses and are free of politics. Given that I do like this bookstore and Im rooting for your continued success.

I visited this place back in 14 and I really liked the experience. It is in a convenient part of Naperville. Inside is spacious with a sense of a shopping mall not a bookstore. It has colorful displays of all kinds of books. Photos are from 2014.

Love reading so Barnes & Nobles is my favourite bookstore in the area. I love coming here to browse through the books in the hope to find a gem, and often do. I love the smell of newly printed books and enjoy flipping through some newsmagazines. Come here to have a relaxing & enjoyable meeting with the world of the books

This store is HUGE!! If youre looking for a book, theres a pretty good chance that they have it. The store employees are also incredibly nice! A gentleman helped me find a book that I was looking for in no time. They also have some cool merch upstairs, from Pusheen to Star Wars! Definitely my absolute favorite book store.

A chain book store, I prefer independent book stores, but Andersons wasnt open on Sundays. So we took a look around, while waiting for our breakfast reservation at Egg Harbor Cafe. This place is big two floors if you cant find a book here, your not trying. Lots of comfortable chairs to lazy around if you just want to relax and read without buying. Very helpful and friendly staff.

They have a nice selection of books and other trinkets with a pretty cool area that provides a relaxing environment for doing school or work.

You know I didnt mind overpaying for a book because I could get it immediately and it was a new release that wasnt generally available in my library.

This store always has something for everyone. Its a staple in the Promenade and you can see why.

I can never work here, I would never take home a paycheck!! Besides having the nicest employees, they have two stories of everything!! Our six-year old grandtwins love going there because they get to keep what we buy them - not like the library!!!

I always love coming here to browse. I went to a smaller book shop first, but the book I want was just released today and they didnt have it unpacked. Instead I came to Barnes and Noble. The new release was right in the front of the store and I got to browse through their stationary and sale items too! Their membership gives a discount to just about everything!

Barnes and Noble has all the books I could*ever* want! Me and my family can all shop for our favorites. Everything is well organized, so we can find everything easily, and when we cant find things, a super friendly worker helps us! Five stars!

Really the only thing they need to improve is to take that “Local Chicago” reading section that’s stashed in the entrance of the elevator and fill it with tons of Chicago literature.

Its an alright book store. Its books are neatly organized which is a very big plus, as well as having an indoor cafe. However, it can get very pricey when it shouldnt be and the layout can be confusing. Just go to the library if its not important.

First off I want to say I am beyond upset with Barnes and noble for their online shopping experience in the past week I’ve had two items removed and canceled on me for being deemed out of stock? I had a pick up today at the naperville store location I had everything confirmed and the item I purchased was in stock an hour later I get an email my items been canceled! Someone needs to do their jobs and update their inventory on these websites! I will never ever shop through this company again, this is why Amazon is putting you out of business

Disappointment is the the most appropriate word to use, to describe my first and last visit to the Naperville Barnes and Noble Store located in downtown Naperville. From the moment I walked In the store, I wasn’t greeted by the young lady at the register, or the older gentleman passing me on the escalator. I reach the top of the escalator and the young gentleman behind her service counter and the older gentleman who was with me, both looked at me and said nothing....okay weird but not enough to really upset me. I make my way to the cafe and sit down and open my back pack to pull out my laptop real quick, Before I could get comfortable in my seat, I see A young man come from behind the Starbucks counter and tell me just so you know you can sit at the tables for 30 minutes....keep in mind there is a sign on the table that says that, and thank God for my impeccable reading and comprehension skills, I was already aware of that. I told him okay. I sat there and watched to see if he was going to go tell the other 3 group of people that followed behind me and sat down but he did not. So I waited and watched for another 8 minutes to see if he or his partner were going to let others know and they did not.At this moment, I am Immediately feeling uncomfortable and singled out. So I grab My back pack and my purse and get up and leave. I watched a few more moments across the store to see if ANY of the Starbucks employees were going to go up to any of the other people that came behind me. They NEVER went to anyone else to let them know of the “30 minute limit”.So now I’m leaving, because I feel I be Un-welcomed and singled out with a bad taste in my mouth. On my way out the employees behind the service desk never said bye and then the icing on the cake was the lady behind the register who looked at me for like 20 seconds, as if debating to speak or not and said in the most un-welcoming energy, have a good day, but everything in her eyes said that she didn’t want to say it and surely didn’t mean it. I have never been treated like this at the Bolingbrook or Oakbrook location. I will NEVER patronize this location again and will let everyone I know to not patronize them as well. Smh so disappointing.

Its a good store but....why on Earth do I have to be quiet? Last time I checked its not a library, Ive gotten in trouble twice because I was talking in a normal voice. Im not gonna whisper at your bookstore smh

Its very nice and has a wide variety of choices.

Awesome store with really knowledgeable staff. Some really cool coffee table books on the first floor. Picked up a couple puzzles and looked at a bunch of games. Also has a coffee shop on the 2nd floor.

Even through Covid, Barnes and Nobles is a very fun place to go to. Looking through books and board games never gets old here.

My kids are excited about the summer reading program at B&N this summer. Sometimes I forget about all the other treasures you can find there apart from good books.

The convenience is incredible if thats what you want. 50 feet from the entrance is a parking garage with hundreds of spaces. If you know what you want you can be in and out in 10 minutes.You can also take your time and enjoy the classic book store experience. Get some good coffee and let the flavor and aroma lead you to want you really want. Who knows what you will discover. There arent many bookstores like this left so enjoy it the experience l.

Its Barnes & Noble! What more is there to say? A large book store great for students, children, an adults alike! Had a slice of Hersheys chocolate cheese cake in there and it was so delicious! Its just a great place to buy a coffee and relax with a book for a few hours.

I should stop making a stop at Barnes & Noble, especially when I have weight limits on my way back home. What would always be intended as just a quick stop would always end up with me grabbing 5-6 amazing hard cover novels, a couple of craft stuff and some very fancy stationary. This store specifically was my go to place every time I went to the downtown for a nice walk by the river. I have even sat by the benches in the river walk with the books picked up from B&N keeping me company for hours together.

What a great place. Really cool and great service. Books are extremely affordable here and they let you try everything books you like. They have also an ares outside the store you can snag free books.

If it makes any sense at all to have a preference between different Barnes and Noble stores then I would prefer this one. Centrally located near restaurants with plenty of parking. That makes this location perfect for a Sunday afternoon in fall. Grabbing a coffee at the Starbucks inside is a must. This location feels larger to me with a larger selection. A nice kids section here with the Thomas the train table.

The naperville location is quite nice. They have a curated bestsellers bookshelf that has some decent picks.

Barns & Noble Naperville is a great bookstore. Although mostly known for there great selection of books, they also have a large selection of collectibles and toys. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming, and in this specific location, the Panera Bread helps the atmosphere. The employees can always help if you need to find something, or what a book but you dont know what exactly. Overall wonderful location and definitely worth a visit.

Its a fairly typical Barnes & Noble store. Sometimes you can get lucky finding something on sale, but their prices (like all B&N) are on the high side. The childrens area is really nice. B&N has easier access to better parking, but if youre willing to search for parking or walk a little bit, I prefer Andersons Bookstore a few blocks away.

What can I say, good store and will usually have something I want or find something even more exciting! Classic Barnes store.

They are doing a really good job for during quarantine, but I would recommend making people wear gloves when going in to that or remember to refill you hand sanitizer.

It is a lovely please, excellent for study and work. But we have to leave today as my laptop was out of battery and you can find only two tables with power outlets. Such a pity.

Names kinda misleading cause they sell neither Barnes or Nobles, but they have a bunch of books so that makes up for it I guess 11 out 10 (extra point for a Starbucks so I can sit there reading a book Ill never buy pretending Im better than everyone else)

This is a very nice Barnes and noble. I don’t know if its because it reminds me of college (I went to north central right next door) or if it’s because it’s large with two stories, but I always prefer this one to the others in the area.

Barnes and Noble is a very good book shop that has many types of books as well as toys too. It is definitely more family appropriate than Andersons because Andersons has some... funny products, but Barnes and Noble is much bigger and there is also a coffee shop inside it which is neat. Stuff there is kind of expensive, but ya know, everything in downtown naperville is.

This is one of my favorite book stores to go to. They always have cute little things on sales and really interesting things to buy. Their selections even on things you wouldnt necessarily think they would have is quite vast surprisingly. Their staff knows a lot about the books that are there. Sometimes they dont but I dont expect them to read thousands and thousands of books or the entire store. But I always have the expectation of the staff that are in a place and they always meet the expectations.

Very clean and organized, easily navigable and the employees were very willing to help if you are having trouble locating something. Overall one of the best Barnes & Noble locations I have been to recently. Also very easy to see in normal traffic and parking can take a minute but you can usually find a spot nearby.

Barnes and Nobles is always great. The customer service is always good. The Starbucks at this one let me down because there was no Peppermint for my Tripple Peppermint Soy Mocha that Im so found of. But all of the positive mental attitude books I wanted to buy for my sons birthday I was able to buy. So again great job Barnes and Noble. 😍

Not just books anymore! They, of course, have a huge selection of books. But they have a decent amount of toys & puzzles..plus a coffee shop. Everyone is very helpful.
