Honestly my experience with Kenneth Daniels was absolutely horrible. I work in commissioned sales and drove from my home an hour away to visit this Design Center because our local showroom is lackluster for finer options. I had recently purchased from the Merrillville showroom and made a choice to not go back. Kenneth assisted me in Naperville and because I understand how commission works I made it a point to purchase from him in Naperville. I dont believe in wasting peoples time. Something he clearly doesnt care about. He also participates in some shady sales practices. See below.Hello Kenneth,I would like my order cancelled please. When I came into the showroom last week you knew I was ordering Ming by Tuftex. You stated I should come back that weekend for your friends and family sale. I also asked you to order a sample of nourison for me. We did wait and came back to see you for the special sale we were brushed off and waited an hour and a half for you. When I asked about my sample you stated how David in Merrillville will be taking care of it. We came to Naperville for multiple reasons, why would you find it appropriate to send me back to Merrillville? My partner and I both find this inappropriate. Fast forward to ordering the Tuftex carpet. You did not take 5 minutes out of your week to call the rep and get the pricing when you knew I was coming in to order. Then to top it off the product is not even on sale. Our home is under construction and there is no reason for me to purchase.His response, order canceled refund processed.I would at least expect an apology for the confusion even if you cant be honest about how you treat a client.You lost on 2 area rug sales totaling 10k and multiple furniture pieces by Theodore alexander.Word of mouth means more than any advertising. Your company will not get any positive info from me.

They have a great flooring selection with unbeatable prices. I was very happy with my purchase. The estimator was spot on with my measurements and the installer was second to none. A very professional experience from start to finish. I highly recommend FCA and will use them for all my future purchases.

Pricing and availability was great but even better was the customer service. I had a great experience with FCA and every person I was in contact with there. The company I work for uses them, and I was on a work assignment and found floor coverings for myself. I wanted them installed by a certain date and everything worked out great.

FCA was recommended to us by a friend and I can see why. They were very polite and knowledgeable without being pushy. The installers were kind, professional and flexible with our special requests. They carpeted every level of our house; it was a huge job. It was nice to support a local business and its a pleasure to give them a 5 star rating.

Went in to ask about replacing carpeting at a new house. Said they would order samples and give me a call. Weeks later and still havent heard back about that. Went with a different company.

We had new flooring put in our living room, dining room, hallway and kitchen. Wonderful experience beginning with our first encounter with Annette. She was totally professional and very patient with helping us make the right decision, which wasnt an easy thing to do with us. She explained all the aspects of the difference choices in flooring several times to us which helped with our decision. She kept in touch with us throughout the installment to make sure things were going smoothly. The installers we had were polite and also very professional. Made sure things were put in the right way. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Everything looks wonderful!

I had to cancel at the last minute and they were very understanding and accommodating to my situation. Their selection in huge, especially in remnants where good deals are to be had. I will definitely be returning there when i do decide again to get carpeting. Staff was also wonderful! 5 stars for this classy place!

FCA did a beautiful job installing our hardwood floors. Annette was the most friendly, attentive sales associate I think Ive ever worked with, and the crew was courteous and thorough. We have used FCA in the past for carpeting; I would definitely recommend them for any flooring needs!

Deciding to renovate my home was not an easy decision, but Annette at FCA made everything so simple. I love all my new cabinets, rugs, furniture and blinds. Not to mention the beautiful custom window coverings, custom pillows and chair cushions. Annette designed everything so beautifully. Natasha is a wonderful seamstress. Though I was just starting the process of redecorating, the salesperson patiently walked me though options for my project. The varied choices and high quality made the decision to furnish my living room easy. The TV console, wool area rug and end tables are a lovely addition to our living room. And I’m so thankful to Sherry for helping me explore and come up with ideas for my next project. Not only was Sherry knowledgeable, friendly and accessible for all of my questions, her coworkers guided me on the days Sherry was off.

FCA did a very professional job on our hardwood floor. We also had FCA put new carpet in Three of our bedrooms. The workmanship was quality! We would have them come back for future projects.

Everything was going great until the final pencil installation. They did a very bad judgment on color match. And now they will not fix the problem. Even an expert came and agreed it needed replacement but none has contacted me to fix it after 2 months. Bery frustrated and disappointed

Tim Pfunstein was my salesman, he was able to help BOTH my wife and I agree on something.. and that is not an easy task... The detailed lay out of our project was extremely impressive. The Installation crew was quick clean and respectful. The project went without a hitch and it was BELOW our original budget!!

Twice we had a carpet installation scheduled and twice they did NOT show up.

Of all the flooring stores I visited, FCA had the most amazing experience. I was conflicted with all the different options, but my salesperson was so patient with myself and my opinionated family. She took the time to talk me through the different technologies and find the perfect fit for our home. We are very happy with our installation as well! Ask for Latti! I have worked with Anne Kaye-Jewett as my designer on multiple projects with excellent results. She isnt stuck to just one style either. We have worked on projects from modern to traditional.Everything we talked about during the design always comes together in the end even if we have to make some changes. There have been some issues to due to supply chains discontinuing some items, but she has always been able to come up with very good substitutes.I would definitely recommend working with her on your next project whether it is big or small.

Latti and Sherry are amazing! Super helpful, great customer service and really helped bring my design together. Todd, the measure guy, was great too, very knowledgeable! We will definitely be back!

At first I thought wow what a great crew. Now that the install is over and I have lived in it for a year, I just think wow and not in a good way. People at the store are great just watch the product and the actual design. We thought we did a good job on picking value, turns out we picked cheap and missed a lot on the plans for install causing a lot of improv at install. Guess I should have known better...but I relied on the store to guide....now i have a bunch of areas i am embarrassed to see, voids, mis alignment on cabinets and counter, draws that dont work and a floor that is way softer than I was lead to believe. Some is the installer but most is the product and design.

We had a good experience. We worked with John and he was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient through our experience. We are happy with the end product. We had carpeting and vinyl flooring installed. Everything was on schedule too.

I gotta say what a great selection of products. Everything there is reasonably priced and if not, theyll work with you tonight the project done. Price point, on point! Customer service rocked as well!

We engaged FCA to help with a bathroom project. They came out, measured, did the design work, and ordered the tile. We couldnt use their tiler as we wanted some expansion of the shower that he was unable to do. At the end of the project, we found we had almost 3 cases of excess tile left over, which the store would not take back. They cited their no special orders returned policy and the fact that we didnt use their tiler. They also said that if we did use their tiler and there was excess that we wouldnt be able to return that either. Of course, if we used theirs, we wouldnt know of any leftovers and they would have made a bigger sale than necessary. A mistake was made and it wasnt ours or our installer. Go someplace else were theyre more honest.

Hardwood flooring project turned out beautiful. Work was done professionally and finished on time. Would definitely recommend FCA to friends and family.

We went to FCA to see their tile selection for a backsplash, there were way too many options. A designer greeted us immediately and help develop a sketch personalized to our style! We didnt expect that anddidnt feel as overwhelmed with her help! The contractors arrived on time and left our kitchen tidy. And above all, the wife is happy. Glad to see a business still value the importance of customer service!

Poor customer service. I was at this store about 2:15 on June 30 2018. In the store about 15 mins. Not one single person greeted me or asked me if I needed help. My basement just flooded. I came in ready to buy. Dont know if it was a racial thing or because I had my two kids with or they were just being lazy. Dont matter. Wont be back. The two older ladies only looked up from the center desk as I walked out the door.

I had a very eye opening experience when I went to FCA the selection they had was amazing. Im very impressed with the selections.

Had purchased from them in the past and the service was great. Not sure what is going on now but this time around has been a disaster. Purchased a remnant and when it was delivered it was defective. Had 2 missing lines through the carpet. Called and they told us to just vacuum it out. Threatened to rip the carpet out and drop it on their showcase floor. They had us come back in and try to find something else we liked. The same sales person tried to get us to pick something we were not sold on and told us to paint the wall so it would look better. Then we picked another remnant and have now been waiting over 2 weeks for them to tell us when the new one is going to be installed. The place is a joke . Take your money elsewhere as this is what we will be doing in the future.

Spent a lot of time at store w sales lady and made a purchase on flooring. Paid in full! A month later I called to schedule delivery date and sales lady proceeds to tell me she cant get the order after all?!! Why would she wait a month to tell me she cant fill my $15,000 order and leave a customer high and dry!!! Horrible customer service! Thats not service at all! She created a huge headache for me. Thankfully I was refunded but at the expense of delaying my installation!! Do NOT use FCA!

My husband and I purchased furniture and rugs from FCA for our home and received excellent service from Annette and every person we dealt with in the store. From first contact to the delivery at the end, everything was done professionally and FCA employees went out of their way to make sure we were pleased with our purchase.

I drove an hour to come to this store from down town Chicago and received no help. I even called ahead with some potential choices. I believe I did not receive the customer service that I deserved because I am building a house out of state. I went across the street to Century Tile and they are now going to take care of my order. You snooze you loose FCA Design Center, and in this case you missed out on a house full of flooring.

Quick install, when scheduled, and the new carpet looks and feels great!

During a very stressful time in my life, I decided to take on a complete remodel of a newly purchased condo. Laati assisted with tile selections and was invaluable with her knowledge and vast experience. I proceeded to order ALOT of tile. She kept me up to date and worked closely with me and the ever fluctuating construction schedule on tile status and delivery. When the delivery day came, the guys had to climb three flights of stairs to get to my unit with dozens of heavy boxes of tile. The hardwood used throughout the unit was purchased and installed by FCA, also. Everything was timely and professional and the installers were very skilled. They had great attitudes and got the delivery done. Laati also assisted in the design and ordering of a complete kitchen remodel, laundry room and two baths. We had several changes and spent many hours working together. It was a great experience and her patience and knowledge of what works and what doesnt was a huge time and money saver for me.Again, with several delays in the project, Laati worked with me closely to get the cabinets delivered around the schedule of other contractors that change daily. And as before, FCA brought five guys with a can-do attitude to climb the three flights of stairs carrying hundreds of sq. ft. of cabinetry. An exhausting job but, Luther, Jose, Austin, Nick and Jared got it done in record time. I have had, and continue to have a great experience and relationship with FCA.Laati and her team have made an exhausting task easier and enjoyable. For everything for the home, I will continue to turn to FCA! A+++
