I ordered my new-to-me treadmill thru Dale N and he was very accommodating and easily with deal with. Responded to my questions quick and was super patient and nice. The delivery crew was very friendly and took good care of the equipment making sure it was working before leaving my place. I will recommend this place and don’t forget to ask for Dale!

Service and quality are awful. Called to report a problem with my treadmill in early April, received an email confirming it was under warranty and that someone would be in touch with me, called and asked when someone would be in touch and nothing again. 5 weeks later nothing! Called and finally someone calls to schedule a service call - IN JULY!!!! This is a piece of JUNK!!!! you get shocked when you press a button, the treadmill stops randomly even at high speeds and it raises for hills out of nowhere! Basically it is unusable. Bought it in January and was only able to use it for less than 3 months before it became unusable. So I use it 3 months and wait 3 months for repairs! What a joke - DO NOT BUY FROM JOHNSON FITNESS!

UPDATE! As soon as I raised my concerns, a Regional Manager, Dale, from Johnson Fitness called me on a Sunday. He assured me he would look into the concerns I have and make it right. We ended up deciding to get me into a different rower that would be a better fit for me. He not only assembled the other unit, but delivered it in person himself. This is EXCELLENT customer service - I could not ask for a better, more personal handling of an issue. I really appreciate this help from Dale and will be back to Johnson Fitness for future workout product needs!I bought an Oxford 6 rower from the store on Route 59 in Aurora, Illinois. I specifically spent the extra $200 so that it would work with the Via Fit application.I assembled the unit and have followed the instructions in the user manual, and on the Via Fit website, at least 20 times to get it to connect the machine to the Via Fit website. I work in IT so I am very familiar with how to use technology and Wifi networking. I have verified the Oxford 6 is connected to my Wifi network (and therefore should be able to access the internet).No matter how many times I have tried to connect equipment I can never get the Oxford 6 to be recognized by the Via Fit website or app. The Via Fit website does not show the equipment I own and never shows any workout data (even though I have put in my XID and PIN on the machine before the workout).This is a huge disappointment because I specifically wanted a rower that would allow me to connect to a mobile app to keep track of my workouts and this machine simply will not do it. I tried e-mailing Johnson Tech Support e-mail address but I am not willing to wait 3 business days for a response only to find out they are going to tell me the same instructions to follow.Next step is contacting Johnson corporate to either refund/replace this unit and/or contacting my BBB.

I purchased a Matrix TF30 treadmill from this location in November 2020. Dale and Chris were very helpful and available to answer all of my questions, while also giving me the space/time I needed to consider my options before making a purchase. Since then, I’ve swung by, called, and e-mailed the shop on numerous occasions to ask questions and inquire about other products. Dont, I repeat DO NOT buy a treadmill from this store that is the brand Horizon!! In fact, I would encourage people not to purchase from this location at all. A piece of exercise equipment is a rather large expense for the majority of folks, and we each deserve to be completely satisfied with the product.I picked up my Horizon treadmill on December 16. The box had quite a few holes in it, but with an extremely heavy piece of equipment, I didnt think much of it at the time. I literally put the entire thing together myself two days later, and noticed the left railing wasnt positioned correctly and was rubbing the belt. Thinking it was something I did, I have my husband take apart the railings, but no, it wasnt me. The railings dont fit into the motor cover the right way, causing it to rub. Long of the short, since that entire bottom piece is supplied, we are under the belief (and from all the holes in the box), that our treadmill was likely dropped at some point before getting to us. We reached out the store right away, took pictures and sent them, and they told us to use the treadmill without the left railing, and they would have that piece reordered right away.Ok, no problem, so attempt to use the treadmill and its slipping, but again, being new, figured it would need a slight adjustment. We barely made an adjustment and the belt appears to be buckling. Called about that and insisted we get someone to come out and service it. Obviously has nothing to do with setting it up, as that piece comes whole and no set up is needed.Long story short, today is April 1st, and you would think its an April Fools Day joke, but its not. I cannot tell you how many calls Ive made as we have yet to receive the left railing or to get some service. At one point, I was calling every other day, then it turned to every week, then every other week. Im always told, we will look into it and get back to you, of which never happens, or that Horizon is so far behind, etc. Horizon must be really bad, because I went through and send them a service request direct (the 35 minute wait on the phone only leads you to an automated message that says nobody is there), and well, here we are.Never in a million years would I think I would be dealing with this craziness with a treadmill!! If youre debating between here or a bigger box store, go with the bigger retail. Youll thank me for it later.**Update** Changing my review to 3 stars now. They did swap out my bad machine, for a new one, delivered to my door, but once again, I had to put it together on my own. What’s sad is how big the differences are between this one and what I had previously. I feel like my original was likely a refurbished one, and it’s clear this is brand new. In the end, I’m now happy, but it was a long four month process to get to this point.

We really enjoyed our experience with Johnson fitness. Dale in the store was very helpful and patient with our questions. The delivery was on time and setup was excellent. We appreciated everything we were told happened and happened when we’re told it would happen. We highly recommend Johnson Fitness. They also have a large selection of treadmills in various price ranges. That in itself was very helpful.

Dale was helpful and friendly, he helped us to pick the right equipment for our needs and recommended a treadmill both in our price range and that will hold up to the use we intend for it. I also opted to assemble it myself and he even went through the steps of how the equipment would come and get put together. The delivery guys were right on time at the very beginning of the window they quoted us and were quick and friendly as well. If you are in the market for fitness equipment stop by here, they arent pushy and are very knowledgable, which was a huge plus for us, I will definitely return.

Visited a couple weeks ago to look at a used treadmill advertised online. The machine and price were as expected, the store and staff were even better. Dale was professional, friendly, and a great help. Went home happy & with a treadmill!

We got a great deal on a Bodycraft rower in January 20. Dale was very helpful. This has been fantastic for me and my wifes conditioning, especially during this pandemic when its been too cold or raining to run outside. Thank you Johnson Fitness & Wellness Store!

Really surprised by the poor customer service following delivery of treadmill. Treadmill was delivered outside. At the time of purchase, they advised I could open the box and carry the treadmill in piece-by-piece. They failed to mention one of the pieces is a 300+ lb base and motor with warning labels not to carry outside of the box. I called to ask for help with this and was told to contact the moving company, then they hung up on me.

Dale was great and inspires confidence in buying from him. Sold me a Precor and couldn’t be happier. Also helped me load it onto the Uhual truck I rented. Past couple of days have ran 26 miles and couldn’t be any happier with my treadmill!

Mike answered all my questions i had and demonstrated the equipment so thoroughly. He really knows his stuff, I will recommend him to anyone i know and will be doing my future shopping here for all my fitness equipment!

Excellent offering of products backed by a sales professional (Dale) who is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely an excellent experience for us and I am pleased we made our purchase of a quality treadmill there.

The guys are very vers in there field. Did not try to push us into a new product, instead where happy to sell a used one for less then 1/2 of a new one. They are alright by me.

We were lied to about when we would get the piece we purchased and treated terribly by two different staff members when we asked about its arrival. I bought an Octane Zero Runner and it changed my life - Octane Zero Runner - is the VERY BEST piece of equipment made - I should know - I bought one - and my husband was so impressed with my results - he got one! Everyone in my family uses it! By the way - it does not break down! {I have had mine for 4 years - Zero issues! :0) }
