Not sure where to begin…worse ever customer satisfaction…so it begins with me ordering food through grubhub…I ordered 6 items…Initial deliver time window 45-55mins… as soon as order got accepted I got a text saying your food will deliver after 1.5hour…I was still okay…after almost 2 hour I got a call from grubhub driver saying restaurant gave a receipt for refund for 2 things out of 6….I was still okay…driver showed up at home delivered food…we were all excited as my kids were waiting for food for last 2 hours and guess what we received….1 item out of 6 and pav bhaji came without pav (pic attached)??? How does that makes any sense here….I called restaurant to get an answer why they didn’t deliver anything….instead of listening to my concerns restaurant person keep blaming on grubhub that we told them and was not at all willing to listen and consider that they have to apologize for making my kids wait for 2 hours and after that not delivering anything….person on phone hung up while out was talking and kept cutting my call afterwards….really my point is if you cannot deliver don’t take orders and if you cannot talk to customers when they are mad you have no right to run a business…I wish I can give them 0 starts….really bad customer service and this was my first time ordering from this restaurant…I will never order again from here….

Spice Mart plays new strategies, they never ever put the prize tag in their items in which they want to increase the price during checkout. In that particular item they manually feed the price instead of scanning, if you dont pay attention they will charge couple of dollars in each items. If you dont believe, just try it.$4.49

We had bought food from SpiceMart multiple times. They have variety of amazing Indian Food for takeout. Chicken Chettinad and Biriyani are our favorites.Overall great quality, portion and service.

We like Spice Mart, it has all the necessary grocery items we need. Plus they have snacks and food items which are really yummy. Specially their samosas. Would love to try more.

I particularly like Spice Mart for the variety of fish they carry and the Bengali sweets that are always fresh and tastes like the ones in India. Additionally, their food items both at the counter as well as ala carte are delectable! I’ve catered from them many times for big and small parties and have never been disappointed.

Rahul and spice mart are a one-stop shop for me - not just for grocery but also for their catering services. Last minute changes are accommodated with a smile and a positive attitude.

I am so pleased by my online delivery of grocery today. Most of the items picked up were very good, vegetables were fresh and really smartly packed and named. I like this place! They give great dishes, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that spot is very trained, I enjoy very much tasting all their dishes. The food is always fresh, the attitude towards the guests is efficient. I often eat in this restaurant and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend it to all my friends.

This place has a lot to offer for Indians. I had snacks which were testy. The whole family liked the food. Less oil and lots of spice within an affordable price.This place also has verity of fishes. Its fresh and also affordable.I would recommend every foody to try here once.

Varieties of Indian food. Loved it!!

Last night was the first time in this place. But It is absolutely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the excellent service, with the exceptional meal and booze and with the modest payment. We will surely come back soon.

This place is not good for biryani and Sweets.We order chicken biryani, chili chicken and gilebi.Thats is the worst biryani I never had in my life.No taste at all chicken pieces are very bad smell .Chilli chicken is very very spice no taste as usual chicken pieces are very bad in smell.Gilebi did not cook properly and no syrup, it’s just raw .

Over all an Ok grocery store. They have a separate meat section with variety of goat, chicken and fish option. However I also see expired products on the shelf, when I caught up a expired Chings soy sauce, I informed the seller.. they took it off from the shelf immediately. But I found it back on the shelf after few days. (They also wiped out the expiry date from the bottle)..Edited 4/29: we ordered flour and immediately after opening realized the foul smell. Dont know when it was packed. No packaging or expiration date on the packet indicates the intention of store management.Cannot trust the quality!!!

The front desk guy is very rude. I am writing this review after three such experiences. I was at the counter waiting for him to bill my purchases, he didn’t care to bill; he was talking over the phone continuously. What annoyed me was that he attended a guy behind me in line before billing mine. Patel Brothers is by far the best Indian grocery store around this area if you ask me.

Over the past few years I have been consistently welcomed by the counter staff with a warm hello. Good quality groceries, competitively priced. Clean and neat atmosphere.The prepared food is tasty and delicious, with a touch of the famous Goa cuisine if requested.The professionalism and friendliness of the staff reflect the professionalism and friendliness of the owner.Ample parking right in front.

Love them! As the name implies they have good spices at reasonable prices. But they also serve food! I go in there every time Im in the area for their samosas because theyre one of the best Ive ever had. They have prepackaged food ready to go if youre on your way home from work and want something quick and already done for dinner, and they even have a little place to sit down and inhale your samosas because you cant wait until you get home.

There front counter guy is extremely rude and unprofessional. There were items missing from our grocery order pickup and when we called to sort it out the guy was not able to figure out the order because he was not paying attention. Then he started to shout and was being abusive.Eventually a different guy comes on the phone and tells me that the guy is temp and his name is Rajiv Singh, which i do not think is correct. The guy i was talking to is always on the front counter and definitely not a singh.I feel he was trying to take advantage of current situation and did not think he will get caught. This is simply being dishonest and when he got caught he started to yell.

This is an awesome store with many authentic Indian supplies and delicious Indian food that they either have ready to eat or will happily whip up for you. The owner is also very helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough

My wife and kids have been going here for many years and we love Neville’s service and all the groceries, food, that are ready to go. The sweets he sells are awesome too. Now to top that off they have a restaurant attached to the store!

Worrest experience. I went for whole chicken. Butcher literally cheated putting dry and old chicken. I realized after coming home and Shocked seeing no leg pieces. He filled bag almost with boneless chicken. Worrest and worrest restarant and chicken shop whole Chicago Area.

Let me think of what is not available here?! It has everything groceries, food, Indian sweets... list goes on.The Indian store part of it is pretty descent, for its location and items available here. They have almost everything you would want from a Indian store. The big bonus is the carry out section. The food is worth the price. Not restaurant quality but, it has always satisfied my taste buds. Try it!

A star less for cleanliness but hands down excellent food and lot of options. Make sure to call in advance they get busy quite often. Owners are super nice and always willing to accommodate.

I would give this place a negative rating if I could. We just picked up the order I placed for groceries. When We came back home, certain items were missing. Fair enough, things like these happen. So I call in to figure this out, the guy I was talking to was extremely unprofessional and was singing songs talking to multiple people. Eventually started to shout. I placed the order and my cousin was picking it, such a small thing confused them, I even mentioned that I will call ahead of time to confirm when I am there. So I still do not see the issue. Even then instead of trying to resolve the situation the guys starts to shout and was extremely rude.Eventually someone else took over and told me the guys on the phone was Rajiv Sing and is a temp. Which I do not think is the case. I believe that the guy I was talking to is generally always in the front when we go there for shopping.I would warn everyone else to look for another grocery store because I feel this is trying to take advantage of the current situation that we are in, as people are avoiding to go and pick up groceries. This is quite shameful.

This is one of the better Indian grocery stores around. They sell good Indian sweets, and fresh made Indian food items too. There mutton biryani and samosas are delicious! You also get to buy 🐔 chicken & 🐐 goat meat, and 🎏 fish.

Terrible Place. Would not go here again. We made the mistake of going here again after 3 years and after recent reviews appeared to be positive. However, they have not changed their underlying problem - the items do not have prices marked on them and so you end up paying much more than normal. This is unethical at best and illegal at worst. Until they have labeled prices on every item here, stay away.

Weve ordered through Grub Hub twice, and their food is very very good. So far everything weve ordered, we have enjoyed tremendously. Try the samosas and the butter chicken and tikka! I cant pick a favorite. Naan is fresh, soft and chewy with nice crisp edges!

I am a big fan of this place. Everything is available under one roof. Groceries, Indian food, Desserts, Appetizers, Meat produce, Indian brand cosmetics, religious items, utensils... you name it. The food quality is great; I have used them numerous times for my catering needs and had never been disappointed.

Good service and variety of items.Firstly the person running the store is professional, friendly and courteous. This combination is very much unlike the other Indian stores in the area and which makes you want to go more often to this store.Secondly they have a huge stock, a variety of stuff including temple items, movies and a to-go pantry serving almost all Indian entrees and sweets. They also sell fresh meat which is a minus for me and the reason why I avoid going there many a time, but might be a plus for others.The common complaint I have heard is about prices being higher, but we know that only because they print the line item prices in the bill including the item description. I know at least one other store in the area that hides item description. Secondly, even the slight premium is worth it when you get the one-stop-shop experience!

Come here for some of the best snacks (samosas are unparalleled), good quality mutton/fish/marinated meats etc. Dont forget to taste the kathi rolls (will remind you of Frankies from India). Overall, this place is our staple every week and Nivin (behind the counter) is the most helpful and friendly person youll talk to. Samosas here are to die for. Prices are reasonable and tastes good. Desserts like laddoo, Kalakand, kaju katli and cham cham are really good. Chicken biryani doesnt taste like hyderabadi biryani but it is good in taste and easily serves two people. Wish they deliver groceries along with food but they dont.

OMG! Scoped this place out to see what was on their shelves. Um... guys... you may want to remove some of those spices from the aforementioned shelves that expired in 2011 !!!! Wow! Theres shoddy business and then theres this place! There are better places... and ones where youre not made to feel unwelcome for being a honky. (Thats old school wording for white for you kids out there.) AVOID THIS PLACE!

Love the hot appetizers ready to go. I always order fresh garlic naan! And I cant help but to grab a few gulab jaman and other desserts. As a busy person, I love the frozen foods they offer also. including dosai, samosas, microwaveable entrees, and of course MAGGI NOODLES.
