The worst customer service in the industry. They lied to me about having the glass in stock. They told me that they would be in contact me the next morning between the hours of 9 and 10. They did not. I had three different people call me from their company asking for my insurance information and vehicle information. One was at 8:30 at night. Don’t waste your time with these people there are many other reputable auto glass companies Around that will treat you better and with respect. And don’t let them lie to you about having the glass in stock.
Stay away from this company I wish I had read the reviews prior to selecting them. Luckily they never started the job so I was able to get a refund.
Very poor Customer Service and Service Period
Absolutely worst customer service i’ve ever received. spoke to Matt and confirmed my windshield would be done that day (i called at 8am). He said i would be contacted by someone about a time. At 12pm i decided to call because i hadn’t heard from anyone. The phone line just rang. I tried multiple times to contact them to no avail. Ended up calling glad depot who not only did my windshield cheaper but actually answered their phones and showed up. These guys have bad reviews for a reason. Avoid.Lol this place exists still? They literally use stock Images. Are they even real?
After two days and two damaged replacement windshield, I will never do business with Glass America again. The price and the scheduling process for an at home windshield replacement installation were very good, but everything else that followed was extremely disappointing. After waiting over an hour for my first appointment, I was notified that my windshield was not in stock and I would need to reschedule for the following day. The next day I had an appointment timeframe of 2-3pm. After waiting an hour and a half, I called the technician and was told that he had been cut off by a car and had damaged my windshield when he slammed on the brakes. A replacement windshield was on its way on a truck from Tampa. When I asked how long this would take, he wasnt sure because the driver of the truck was not answering his phone. As I needed to run some errands, we agreed to a new timeframe beginning at 5pm. At 4pm, I received a call from the technician. He had the replacement windshield from Tampa but it had a scratch on the drivers side. He would take $50 off the price if I still wanted to use it. He came by my home and after inspecting the windshield, I felt the scratch was not acceptable. He offered to reschedule, but at this point, I did not have anymore time or patience to give to this company.
Waited on the phone for 12 minutes. after they told to hold on a minute. and no one got back to me.....I dont know what kind of service that is!!!!!!!!!!!
4 appointments scheduled and cancelled day of due to scratched windshield, broken windshield, windshield didn’t arrive...spend a little more and try Safelite is my advice.
Does not fix glasses the send you in fort meyers.....
