This review is just for the Joanns on Plaza. I had grabbed a shopping hand basket to hold my stuff while I shopped. It was at the entrance in a stack. When I got to the cashier to check out, I asked where she wanted the basket (thinking she would grab it from me to wipe it down and put it away like a normal cashier would. Or at least tell me a pile to put it to be put back later) . Instead she looks at me and then points back to the stack of baskets by the front door( the same exact stack I grabbed from) and says back where you got it. Not only is this slightly rude to say to your customer, it also says NOTHING is getting wiped down in this store. There was no hand sanitizer to use. I didnt see her wipe anything down before me nor after. She definitely didnt wipe down the hand basket I just put back. Im going to guess the door handles only get wiped down once a day. Her customer service leaves little to be desired and I probably wont be back.

Way too easy to spend money here. The workers didnt know they even had a reverse tie dye kit so I had to find it myself. The most expensive stuff there besides the sewing machines are the licensed fabrics. My suggestion is to get the app and either buy everything on the app and pick it up, or only go with a certain amount of cash and leave the cards at home. The best deal was the discontinued patterns are only a penny if you buy 2 yards of material!!!

Worst Experience Ever. I Went In Looking For A Solid Black Bandana And They Didnt Have It. Instead They Gave Me An Unevenly Measured Piece Of Black Fabric For $3 And It Was Not Even As Big As My Bandanas. They Are Such A Rip Off!

Place is okay if youre in a pinch. No a lot of variety and low on stock on most things. If you are using a coupon be sure to read the fine print some of the employees dont know or even try to use the coupons that qualify. They dont let you use the online websitcoupons but they do on the app. Okay

I dont do crafting, but they have a large selection for people that do. They also have everything for sewing, knitting, needle point, and much more

Customer service rep on the phone was unnecessarily rude. I asked if a certain product was in stock, she replied know that the only thing they have is above a certain price value, which was not my question but appreciated the answer. I clarified, because I requested about a specific brand name, and she replied that she already told me the answer. The thing is, my phone cut out for a split second and so I didn’t hear the yes or no part. It was pretty rude of her to be so unprofessional. I was not rude at all, it was a simple in stock question, which is usually why people call into a store. I didn’t want to just show up considering the times we are in right now and waste anybody’s time, or health. I understand this is stressful for everybody, but she did not need to be rude. Whole part of working customer service is to be kind.

Theyre not forthcoming about the restocking fee of their sewing machines. $25 for a restocking fee is ridiculous.

I placed an order for curbside pickup for 4 spools of thread over a week ago! Thread.!!I spent an hour on the website finding colors and substituting what I actually wanted based on what WAS available at my store. I understand delays in the current environment but over a week for thread is ridiculous. So much for making masks in a timely matter

Joann’s is a place where you only can get a decent deal if you use their coupons. I had not been there in years but the game of overpricing items is very old. I guess the psychology is that they manipulate you into making you feel like you had a good deal when you use their 40% off or other coupon once a month. It is frustrating especially when don’t have the coupons handy. It might have worked 39 years ago before Walmart was around in San Diego County. Now they are comparatively over priced.

The employees here are so helpful and nice! I spent hours in here looking around at all of the options and then asked them for advice bcz Im not a seamstress or designer, but I wanted to make an outdoor piece of furniture. They were awesome! They helped me know what was on sale and what the best deal was. They helped me find fabrics and even helped me load my car. Excellent customer service

Curbside was a horrible experience 😪 I call and Management hung up on me 3 times so I had to walk in and I talk to her about it and wouldnt answer the phone or come out to assist me.

Absolutely horrible! This location is the worst. I made an order and its been over a week, for buy online pick up in store and still havent received my items. I called and they answered put me on hold then hung up on me 4 times! Then I asked to speak to a manager and I kept getting passed around to everyone but a manager. How is this business open? Staff is rude and unprofessional, save your time and money.

I just called 5 minutes ago. I was asking the lady over the phone if they have a garter and if shes able to find out if they have it in stock. She said no and hang up on me. I was going to ask one more question but i wasnt able to since she already hang up the phone. SO RUDE!!!

I just recently go into sewing my own clothing. So Im always stoping by fabric stores to look for new materials. Im so glad I found this store. They have a pretty decent variety which I love. So coming back here.

Large variety of fabrics, diverse materials for different projects, yarn, etc.Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, they help with a smile in their face always!The only thing that was weird to me was the total silence in that huge store. No ambience music at all which gives you a weird feeling. But the rest was ok.

I always went on weekday mornings and its never crowded. Great 50% off coupons when you sign up for their newsletters. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. Good selection of fabric and craft items.

Customer friendly & Outstanding service.

The staff here isnt particularly friendly, however they have a great selections of fabrics and patterns, as well as sewing notions. Make sure you use the app to get coupons before you check out. They just had a presidents day sale in which patterns were $1 each, which was amazing since theyre normally about $17, so watch the sales if theres something you have your eyes on.

I get my yarn here. Im making a blanket and the store isnt to far from where I live. The people who work here are very nice.

The fabric I picked was in the wrong spot so I only found out it was $25.99 a yard and not 5.99 a yard AFTER, it was cut to size and I was obligated to purchase. The associate helping did lead me to coupons which was much appreciated. I wasnt impressed by this store, and wont be going back. Hobby Lobby was closed😒.

Compared to the Joann I frequent mostly, this one wasnt that impressive. Everything seemed a little sparse and slightly disorganized. And the customer service was just okay. That said, I love Jo-Anns.

Great selection of fabrics and they always have amazing sales just gotta have good timing when you buy because the sales dont apply to all products.

What I wanted was out of stock but Jasmine was super cool to check when they might be restocked, so appreciated the excellent customer service.
