Coming from California, its hard to believe I now live in a town with no doughnut shops. So whenever Im home, San Diego, I have to visit my favorite donut shop. The donuts are ALWAYS fresh and you can still get great customer service!

These donuts are so good! Stopped here on my way into my office and picked up a box. The donuts were fresh and a great variety. Definitely worth the trip!

Oh my god this place is phenomenal. Best donut shop yet. You can go to a grocery store and buy a tiny very airy donut or you can come here and get a massive thick delicious heavily creation. I only spent $7 and got 5 donuts and a bunch of donut holes. Only 5 donuts for that much? Yes but their donuts are HUGE. Have and will continue to go back. I dont know how they do it but these are amazing. Thank you. Pictures below. And i used my hand as a reference and i dont have small hands. HUGE!!!!!!!

Amazing!!!!! Anything you get is delicious! Shortly after we moved here we were taking the dog for a walk. We followed the amazing smell and were not disappointed!!! My preference is the apple fritters and donut holes. The croissants are amazing too!!! Very well priced too! The lady is super nice as well!

Did not follow instructions, did not give me my drinks, donuts tasted old, they were literally CRUNCHY.

The host of Golden Donuts is truly respectable & very patient. The place isnt in the best of neighborhoods but the upkeep of it is really good.

Best donuts in San Diego! Glazed donuts are amazing. Very cheap for the quality donuts they have. Its a great mom and pops shop. They have been on business for over 30 years. Its a little gem in National City. Highly recommended. Go early because they only bake once a day. When the donuts are gone, they close shop for the day.

The best doughtnut lady in the world. She is so sweet and is an institution to our neighborhood. I would rather go here rather than yum yum any day of the week.

I bought a orange juice I got sick and I called to let her know, she told me she has customers and never came back to the phone, I have diarrhea.

Donuts had flies all over them and were trapped inside the enclosure. and when i told the lady about it, she got mad and yelled at me and told me to leave. Trust me lady, i was not planning to eat your donuts with the extra fly filling
