Had an excellent experience with John, Dylan, and Bernie at SDI. They came to my home to add audio equipment to my home theater setup. They were professional and kind along the way. I chose SDI offer to install a home theater out of competing offers presented to me by 5 companies - since SDI offer was by far the best, in terms of price, quality and installation simplicity. And I wasnt disappointed - Bernie and Dylan did a fantastic job installing all the equipment (screen, projector, 7 speakers + subwoofer, receiver etc.), doing the wiring while preserving the look of the room, and setting the whole system up - it required some creative solutioning which I highly appreciate. I also appreciate Bernie coming back on short notice to help me finish the sound set up and making sure everything works well. I am very happy with my new home theater and highly recommend SDI to anyone looking to do a home theater or any other home automation.

I hired SDI to install ethernet throughout my existing construction home, upstairs and down. This is no small task, which is why I went with a professional instead of DIY.The project grew out of scope quickly due to their lack of planning (checking attic spaces, making sure wall cavities lined up, determining if runs would have to be exterior, etc.) and I was forced to cut it short.Overall the quality of work that was completed is fine although I wish some of it had been neater for the price. I would not trust their ability to plan a project of any real scope, they plan as they go and issues can pile up quickly. Dont trust that anything you tell them over the phone will get passed along to the installers.

Excellent customer service. They installed a Sonos system in my house years ago, and we’ve never had a problem. Installers cleaned up, the workmanship is neat and tidy. Recently had a software issue that I couldn’t figure our, service sent over a very polite repairman. Fixed within 5 minutes. Great communication - emails are very timely. Def recommend!

Been meaning to write a review for some time. Bought a McIntosh receiver in May of 2020 from here. Fast forward to Jan. 2021. There is a malfunction with my unit, which is not their fault, its McIntoshs. I had not contacted Angel since I got the unit and did today. Was quick to help out and get the unit some point soon to have it fixed. Very helpful from the first time I spoke to him... highly recommend dealing with them.

I rarely write reviews, but the team at SDI has been so wonderful to work with, a 5 star rating is well deserved. Angel was fantastic, and I felt he was very honest in his assessment of what equipment we needed and wasnt trying to upsell unnecessarily like so many do. He gave us a range of options and his honest opinion. Perfecto who came to install the system was incredibly professional, personable, and efficient. He got our home audio system up and running in no time and I really enjoyed working with him. We couldnt be happier with our system! Overall fantastic experience. Highly recommend for any home audio / video needs.

About one year ago, SDI came and installed a home theatre system for us. It included a receiver, speakers, and then wiring in an existing projector and collection of devices. The installation was done professionally, and with minimal poking of holes in our finished basement. They patched over the holes with blank wall plates. The sound system that was chosen has worked really well for us. Its great for movies and video games, and pretty good for talking-head type of news stuff. The price was really reasonable for what we got. I wanted to wait a year to make sure we didnt run into any issues ... and we havent! A really solid install.The only changes weve made to the system in the intervening year:(a) Unbundled the cables for the Nintendo Switch so that the system could be transported to a friends house. They like to tie up all of the cables to make the install look neat and tidy (good!), but in hindsight tying in the Nintendo Switch cables wasnt what I wanted. Maybe something to think about while youre getting your own install.(b) Switched the power bar to one of these eco ones, so that some devices get no power when the receiver is off. Some of my devices have a noticeable background power drain. So again, if this is something you care about, maybe talk to these folks about it upfront.A word of caution to those folks comparing this against other installers. As of a year ago, one of the other installers I was looking at had a conflicting interest they werent upfront about: they were employed by a speaker manufacturer, and were pushing that manufacturers speakers. Just keep an eye out for that kind of stuff.Good luck finding your own installer! Weve really enjoyed this SDI system.

The service has been chronically poor. My entire Savant system crashed around September 1, 2020. Apparently only 1 person at the company can fix savant systems. He is actually great but the company needs 10 more of him to service their clients efficiently. He came out several days later and managed to get the tv’s working. I was promised a quote to replace the broken piece the next day as well as a quote to upgrade the business WiFi to cover several buildings. I got nothing. It has almost been 2 weeks and they have not returned any of the several calls we have made.

From the very beginning of our project to the end, Angel and his team were fantastic. We were guided through every decision. They were patient while my wife and I decided exactly what we wanted the project to encompass. Tony and Adrian were fantastic on install day and Angel made sure we completely understood how to navigate this new system for us. They listened, provided ideas, tips and made sure that the project was completed to our satisfaction.

I dont know what my next project is....but they are doing it. They installed an 85 TV, in wall surround sound with bass in wall as well. They were in and out. The installers were extremely kind and had good ideas/suggestions when I asked where to put the rack system, what to be aware of in the future if I wanted to change the room, etc... 5 stars.

I cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism of Angel and Alexa at SDI and their whole crew. We were building a brand new home and installed audio throughout the house, a whole house smart system and much more. Starting from their in person meeting and taking the time to explain the very complicated options in a very simple manner was just the first step in a series of being impressed. They were timely and very neat when running all of the wires through the house. They then came in and did the final install and finally have been very reachable for any questions or minor issues that have come up afterwards. We couldn’t be happier with our fully integrated smart home.

Cant recommend this company enough. Angel and his team were very professional from start to finish. They installed a new K4 TV and equipment and linked everything perfectly. They were all available for follow up questions when the install was complete. Very down to earth group of guys who were able help me understand how to work the new equipment. Their price was fair too! Give them a try.

We could not be more impressed with this company. Alexa, Angel, Tony and their crew were a pleasure to work with. They upgraded our homes WiFi and boosted the stereo/speaker system capabilities. Most importantly, they very patiently walked us through exactly how to use the systems, put in a fail safe reset button, and let us know we can contact them anytime with questions. The sound check Tony went through after set up, literally gave me chills, hearing it from a closed room at the opposite end of the house.

Great local dealer of fantastic products. I bought some Bowers & Wilkins speakers. Alexandra, Jason and Angel were always easy to reach, instantly responsive and very helpful. Highest recommendation.

I originally hired SDI to install ceiling mounted speakers and a big screen tv in my family room and outdoor speakers hooked up to sonos in my back yard. I loved everything so much that I asked them to come back and install an outdoor tv and hook it up to my outdoor speakers for surround sound outside. My back yard is now everyone’s favorite place to watch a game and it was all a lot cheaper than I expected.
