This place is the real deal I got five estimates two of who I thought were friends of mine who owned tire companies my $750 tires was the cheapest I can find but yet Tire Discounters was able to give me tires There Were Ten Thousand Mi rated more and put all four on for $500 and some change there is honest as they come the employees the staff are polite theres no reason to go anywhere else if you do youre just throwing your money away and if you want to throw your money away throw it at me, they even recommend to me to a great restaurant down the street food was amazing now I go there every day

Corbin called from where he was managing at this time. He was at a different store than where I bought my wheels. Short studs left the wheels literally hanging on by a few threads. They ordered and replaced the studs for half the cost but should have cost me nothing. Kudos to Corbin but technician should have known.

As a female normally the last thing you want to say is will you check over my car its making an odd sound(sounded like power steering) and I had just replaced my breaks the day before but these guys were completely honest with me and said nothing was wrong. I grew up working on cars with my dad so become use to hearing all the BS some shops will tell you so I was very impressed. Ive been getting my tires here for awhile now because they prices are so good. Today I made an appointment to get my tires rotated in and out in maybe 30 mins.

Very slow. Appointment at 11. Car not touched for 1 hour 5 minutes. Premium price but cut rate service. Did not even test drive their work.Work was done, seems right, but they put non-appointments ahead of appointments. No apologies, no information shared until confronted

Duane picked up my car in the rain and brought it back with the oil changed and tires rotated. It was so nice to have it taken care of while I was working rather than taking up a whole Saturday morning. Thanks yall. I love this service. I havent driven it yet but Im confident that they did a good job as my son has used them before and hasnt had a problem.

Did a warranty battery replacement with no hassle on my VW. Lowered labor cost on battery replacement from a few years ago which I was happy about. Pretty quick and painless, some shops are scared to touch a VW.

Took all my money but at least they was nice. 10/10 would go again!

If you ever need tires dont go to any other place then tire discounters definitely the best store I have found in my entire life and Im a senior citizen. They are fair honest and they have a great price with great service they go the extra mile. I will never go to another tire chain ever.

I will never use this facility or their skilled hands again. I normally change my own oil but was in the middle of moving and most my tools were loaded up. They put the drain plug on so tight that I cant get it off even with an impact. You all put shame to the title of mechanic and shouldnt be trusted with a wrench let alone a car.

These guys got me in last minute on a Friday afternoon. I was in town for a car show and got a nail in my tire on the way. I’m always a little hesitant to let others work on my show vehicle but they got my tire patched up and got me back on the road. Could not have asked for better service!

Went to have a tire replaced because mines shredded to pieces. They were open right on time. The place was clean and service wqs fast and affordable. I recommend them.

Once again I came back but this time for a brake job, I told the people I didn’t want to search for the best price . He gave it to me and I handed him the keys and got a oil change .. I walked out of there very satisfied and as of now it’s great and more then satisfied, thanks again

My father in law took his vehicle to this location for 4 brand new tires. When we got the vehicle back that rims and wheels were covered in greasy finger prints, all 3 out of 4 valve caps were missing and all for center caps were completely loose, causing one to fall off while driving. For a place that is more expensive than nearly every other tore shop the work is incredibly shoddy.

Took the day off to get tires rotated and get a few other things done. Arrived at Tire Discounters on State Street in New Albany at 9:15 am. Entered lobby and was not greeted by anyone. Stood at counter for 10 min with no one speaking with me. A service manager was just on three other side of the glass. Then the store manager come in to the lobby and still didnt speak to me I stood there patiently for another 5 min he never even looked at me. At this point I decided that Big O across the street would be doing my rotation. They got me right in, offered me a cup of coffee and spoke with me the entire time I was there. So I had to pay to get my tires rotated but at least it was done in a timely manner and great customer service. I will not be returning to Tire discounters. I have purchased 3 sets of tires from your business in 3 years. Big O will gladly take that business.

Warning –This crew seems to have no problem taking advantage of people.My wife was out with a friend and thought it would be a good idea to get her oil changed at Tire Discounters while out. The date was 1 August 2017They charged her $62.33 for the oil change. A simple OIL CHANGE. $62.33!!But that was not even the worst. They informed her that there was major work that needed to be done to the undercarriage, breaks, and shocks, and that was going to cost her $1592.63. Thankfully she refused, and we took the vehicle to a dealer.The dealer confirmed some of the items did need work, and did it for $475.00. LESS than ONE THIRD what these crooks wanted.I thought the days of mechanics trying to take taking advantage of what they perceive as ignorant people were over. I do not care how friendly they may act on the outside, I would not trust these people to wash my windshield.By the way – any questions, I will be happy to provide the invoice and estimate to anyone who needs verification.

These folks have done excellent by me and Im going on 5 years now as a customer. Always friendly, even when the customers are not.They are not an instant oil change, they do things in a quality way that takes a little longer, but will STILL try to accommodate the best that they can.

The mechanics here are awesome. Broke down in their parking lot and even though our problem was out of their hands they offered to help us find a solution. Good to see genuinely nice people still exist!

Great service, but charged for something that wasnt necessary. And was told I would get a $50.00 rebate when I purchased 4 new tires, and never received it. Its been almost a year ago.

I was driving through from out of state with three teenagers with me when my car began pulling to the side of the road. It was shaking and it got so bad I thought I was going to crash. Turns out I was sold a 🍋. They explained to me all the problems with the car and gave me an alignment to make it home. These kind gentleman that fixed my car refused to accept the money and instead told me to spend it getting the car fixed. I am forever grateful for them not only for fixing my car but also for letting my teenagers get a much needed lesson on giving back. They were the best and I really will never forget them and by the way my son has told this story a couple times including that people in Indiana 😂 are much nicer.. Thanks so much guys my car now runs great and a free my awful car buying experience its nice to know not everyone is out for the almighty dollar. God bless you

The prices are a little mote than other chains and local places but they had several workers and moved the cars right along to make it a quick and easy experience. They recommened multiple fixes but were not pushy on the sales side of things.

Great service better to make an appointment

I went to this shop on my hour lunch break needing to get a flat tire checked out. Within that hour they repaired it and had it ready to go. The whole staff is very respectful, honest, and eager to help however they can. I can honestly say Roger Creal made this the best experience I have ever had when dealing with car troubles.

Overcharged for oil change, ridiculous price for tire repair, and RUDE MANAGER. Avoid this store!

About a month or so ago. I broke down really in front of this shop. The straps on my gas tank broke. Nothing major a small repair figured I’d trust them to fix it. Well I finally get a call from them they said it would cost me 900+ dollars for two new straps and a fuel line. I was told it broke my brake lines. I called two other mechanics and got quotes for the same work and found that these quotes was significantly cheaper. So I called them when I left work and told them I’d be there that I had a tow truck coming to take it elsewhere I told them to have the truck ready. I show up my truck still in the air throw truck is waiting. The guy who talked to me about the truck wouldn’t talk to me it took me 15 minutes to get my keys. After I got it to the other mechanics they said i only need two straps and a fuel line. My brake line wasn’t broke. My final invoice for the labor was 200 dollars and my truck is running better than it was. So if your considering going here I’d drive up the street to big o or go where I went which is southern Indiana auto they took real good care of me and got the work done and had my truck on the road the next day. I would not trust these crooks at all.

They were really nice. I always have a good experience. The manager gave me a slight discount since were business neighbors. It took a little bit longer than I expected to have my car done, but they did a great job and were very nice. Sometimes I want to go somewhere cheaper, do have work done, but its a gamble at those places because they dont offer warranties or service your car for free after the fact. Ill always go here.

Very happy with my experience. I was given an accurate time line when my service was complete. Plus it was well priced.Luckily there are little shops around to make the time pass by.

Appointment for 12 noon. Still waiting at 2:15 pm to get flat tire fixed. Promised to be the next car at 12:00. Failed to fix the tire last weekend after leaving the car from Saturday to Monday. Why have customers make appointments if you cannot deliver service? Wife picked up car last Monday with a promise of being fixed. Tire went flat on I-65 morning rush hour placing her in danger. They appear to treat women different than male customers. Sad service for such a new contender in the tire market. Looks like a big O problem for tire discounters.

Bought 2 tires and a alignment. 8k miles later front tires are bald on the outside of the tires. Took it in and GM said theres no way the tires worn that much in 8k miles even though when we did the work your milage was 204k and it is now 212k. Must be a front end issue. Mechanic checked it out and said no issues it needs a alignment and tires. GM said sorry about your luck it was over a year ago. I said how about I buy the tires and you align it. GM said sorry about your luck.WATCH THEM WORK.. They dont do a alignment on every vehicle. The only way you get a alignment is if you buy all the road hazard warranties and have issues after they put a new set of tires on and bring it back.DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR... GO ELSE WHERE4/11/20No attempts made to make this right by anyone at tire discounters. Took my vehicle to a family owned business in corydon and was taken care of. I paid over $100 less for 2 tires and a alignment then the 2 tires that I bought from TD.

Gave me a great deal on a set of tires and through in some extras for free. On the flipside though, when I scheduled my free rotation I waited for near 2 hours before they finally fished the work.

The new general manager there is great. My truck wouldnt start because of my battery, so he came out to where I was, gave me a jump, and when we got it to the store they checked my battery and got a new one installed super quick and at a great price. Im so glad theyre right down the street from me and have amazing service!

I took my Scion to Green Tree Toyota about some noise from the tail pipe. I was charged about $180 Dollars to have them tell me the price for repairs would be over $2000 Dollars, to replace the whole pipe.I took it to tire discounters. They test drove it. Put a clamp on the tail pipe. Test drove it again no noise. My bill was Zero. This was my 4 visit there, I have all ways been treated good there. It is in a nice location. You can walk around, Krogers, Dollar tree, Big lots, 4 or more restaurants that are close by.

I had to get an oil chang and they were extremely busy but they go it done for me also there inspection process tested my battery and replaced that for me so now I have a better piece of mind coming on for the winter

Tire discounters have very experienced mechanics. They have always provided exceptional customer service and they know what they are doing.

The people there are all wonderful! I came in just before closing with a nail in my tire. I was in a bind because I live 33 miles away. My husband offered to pick me up but he has health problems and cant drive that far. I know they all wanted to go home, it was hot and late, but they didnt complain. I will definitely go back!

I received excellent customer service from the Tire Discounters crew on State Street New Albany store where I purchased tires for my car. Recently, I had a slow air leak in one of my tires which they fixed at no charge. However, the tire continued to lose air and on a return trip to Tire Discounters it was discovered my wheel had a small crack in its rim which was the cause for the problem. Tire Discounters eventually installed, at no cost, a replacement wheel I purchased on line which fixed the problem. With the great customer service like this, Ill certainly be back for any future tire purchases.

4 hours to get two oil changes, I even made appointments. Unless you have a day to waste, dont go near this place

Great price, good service the only thing I would like to comment on is there were greasy finger prints on the door, door panel, seats, steering wheel and console of the vehicle. Not good😝

I made an appointment 4 days in advance for 1 oclock on a Saturday. I dropped my car off at 12 PM and they said theyd call when its done. Well, I then arrived back to retrieve my vehicle (3 hours later) where it was on a lift, and had no tires on it at all. 4 PM rolls around. We spoke to a lady whose car has been here since 8 AM and they just finished her car. Shes never coming back, and neither am I. Paying $700 dollars for tires AND having an appointment should warrant some sense of urgency. They were taking all kinds of walk ins and those people were leaving before I was. Please dont go here. There is a big O across the street. Go there instead. I finally got my car at 4:30.

I went to this store for my cars regular maintenance. I assumed I would be treated like a woman like I am at every car place Ive been to. Keith didnt talk down to me at all! He was wonderful and my car was ready when they said it would be. Thanks!!

2 vehicles in their bays when I arrived. I was told I needed an appointment. Then I was told I didnt buy tires from them. Liars. So I went to Big O 8 0f 8 bays full parking lot full, side street getting full. Inside of 30 minutes Big O had my vehicle working on it.

Called and made an appointment to get my tires balanced and rotated at 4:00. Got there 3:55, give the guy all info about my truck even give him the milage. Then asked him when I would be done? He told me that move a car out get me in done in an hour. So I took a walk instead of waiting there for that time. Came back before an hour. Truck was in on the rack, nobody working on it til they noticed I was back. Then had 2 people rotate the passenger side tires but I didnt see them balance the tires. Even with them not balancing the tires it took 1 1/2 aggravated with the service I left probably will be the last time I get tires from tires discounters

Very disappointed to have to write this review. For several years I have used tire discounters at multiple locations to service our 4 personal vehicles. No matter which store we visited we always received superior service and reasonable prices. It was time for 3 of our vehicles to get oil changes, so last evening my wife took her suv up to the store on state street to have it done. When it was done the guy told her a price significantly higher than we have ever paid and then told her that her tires were worn down. This is the first 5,000 mike oil change this vehicle has had since purchasing brand new tires from this store. Thinking it may have just been a new person or something we took our other two vehicles into the store today. My oil change was $20 higher than last time and they tried to charge more for the family car than they did for the suv. After my wife called them out for this they quickly dropped the price. We called the dealership as soon as we left and their prices were significantly lower at the DEALERSHIP! I’m sure my few thousand dollars a year doesn’t mean much to a big company like this but I assure you after our experiences over the last couple days, we will no longer be customers at tire discounters and that is something we thought we would never say after being loyal customers for so long. Very disappointed.

Appointment at 4p.m just a Oil change, and im still here my vehicle was pulled around a little after 4:30, and then pulled in and in the air at 4:45-4:50........why

I’ve never had an issue out of them except for alignments, it seems like every time I get an alignment I have to go back 2 or 3 times until it’s finally done right. After I got my alignment this time I went back 15 minutes later because it was pulling only to be told I need to come back on a day that a more experienced alignment tech was in or I could buy and adjustment kit that they always tell me I need that I do not need to align my truck. I also don’t think it is fair that I have to pay $30 more for an alignment on my truck due to it being lifted and still have to go back multiple times to get it right.

Went in yesterday to have a leaking tire fixed. Not only were we seen quickly despite the appointments around our walk-in, we werent even charged with the repair. Employees were kind and courteous. Will definitely be coming back when it comes time for new tires

Second time in there, had to change my review. First time (6 months ago) it was awesome, quick, no issues.. Second time, waited 3.5 hours for a tire plug. That was on a Friday afternoon. Drove it over the weekend, Sunday is not over yet and my tire has lost over 25lbs. That rate is WORSE than what I took it in for. It was loosing that over a month. Will not return with the exception of them fixing what was wronged.

Got there 7:30 am and couldnt fix a leaking tire until 10:30.Left and wont go to that store again

Horrible experience when purchasing my new tires this time around. This was highly disappointing considering that I had such a wonderful experience a couple of years ago with this location. I called in advance of taking my car in for the service. I explained to them that I needed to know a time frame on how long it would take to get my tires put on since I would have an infant with me. The guy was very friendly and told me it would take around 2 hours but to give him 3 hours just in case. My service was being performed on a Saturday, so I know that they are busier than usual during this time period. However, after 4 hours, I had to go back to the counter angry as hell to get things wrapped up. To top things off, the cap that goes over your stem was not put on my brand new tires on the front passenger side. By Sunday, it was very clear to me that something wasnt right with my tires. My SUV now bounces around like a school bus. It definetely was not the smooth ride I was promised. When I called Tire Discounters back on Monday, they told me that my brakes were probably bad. I just had my brakes checked during my last oil change and they were fine and I did not have this bouncing issue prior to getting my new tires. They proceeded to tell me that the rotors could have warped in the rain that we had over the weekend.....because that was very common. To finish up my horrible experience, I called back in this morning (2 weeks after having my tires put on) because my rear passenger tire is low. I asked them if they could get my vehicle in to be checked out during my lunch hour. They could not agree to this because their service appointments are already booked up. They couldnt give me any type of an estimate on how long my wait would be. I explained that the last time I was there that I had to wait 4 hours and in a very snotty manner, Paul informed me that he could assure me it wouldnt take 4 hours although he couldnt provide me with a time frame. I suppose as long as they were done by 3 hour and 59 minutes, he wouldnt be a liar. I am over the horrible service that I have experienced with the State Street location on this go round. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Came in with my 97 Honda Accord to get a front end inspection and a simple quote yesterday around 3 pm. They wanted to keep it overnight for the inspection, for whatever reason. Told me everything would be ready to go this morning. Here it is 27 hours or so later, and Ive got my car back home, with no quote and no proper inspection. Worst customer service possible. I wish I could give a zero rating. I urge you to look elsewhere, and dont waste your time.
