Great place for your building and hardware store very helpful staff

More expensive than Lowe’s or Home Depot? Not for me. When I factor in drive time, and mileage expenses, not to mention the convenience of parking and not hunting through the big box store, I prefer to give the local businesses my business. I want them to remain open for my convenience.

Called in to ask to speak with someone about lumber and decking materials. The only salesguy was out to lunch...left my info. No Call back.Came by later in the day in person...salesguy decided he was done working for the day (3:30 pm at the time) and left before that.No brochures, no pricing material or information available in store. Just two employees who apparently are only armed with the authority to run a register.Left my phone number and was told the salesguy would call me back the next morning.A week later, still no call back about that pricing.You try to do right and support a local business but not like this. Poor service made it impossible to shop with them.

In just the last couple of weeks the store has lost Stan- he retired--- the store has been sold to a larger company. Uh -oh.The changes were very evident. There was still great service and knowledge- however only one person at the help desk -there used to be three- and 4 people in line behind me. I shop there rather than the mega hardware stores because it was more relaxed and the employees know the business. Questions asked back to me are: do I have the extension piece that doesnt come in the package . ... No- thus I would get home and have to make another trip out. I get the right parts the first time.So a message to the new company- keep the small town feel and great customer service. Keep your knowledgeable employees and not just one behind the desk and one on the register. Its not fair to them to be doing the job of 6 people and only 2 of them. Its also not good customer service to me. I felt rushed- not because of the man helping me- just the daggers behind me to hurry up.Lumber Jack was always clean and organized- had what I needed- a zillion screws nuts bolts etc. and people asked if they could help you. Its changed-So corporate- make it a successful investment- keep the helpful charming small town store that carries what I need when I need it and employees that are not too busy to help.

I went in there looking for a part for plumbing. They didn’t have it on hand but Alissa helped me find a alternative part and it worked great! Saved me a bunch of time too thanks!!

Wish I had one where I live. Great garden section. Purchased an angel marked for $50 but got it 50% off. Very happy with it.

Has to be one of the worst supplied store around always out of stock and when you stand in line at the service desk waiting to ask for something the employee the tall mid middle aged male is simply rude. The guy should worry about spending more time on customer service and less time on the phone, surprised this store can remain open.

Great local hardware and lumber store

Disappointed this trip. I LOVE this store but today there was a huge lack of customer service, which isnt their norm. Im on supplemental oxygen and female. You would at least expect some contact with employees. They walked past the isle and I know they saw me. But not til I got to the registered after looking for something for 30 min. Just rang me up and I had to ASK them to put my items in a bag. Good thing I knew what exactly I was looking for.In regards to the owners response, THANK YOU for your your info on how you are covid practices but please dont forget about the other option of social spacing!! AGAIN, Thank You caring enough about ur customer service. Not once have I ever thought of using a different store. And this last visit hasnt changed my mind. THANK YOU for caring enough to respond. With the change of times, all we can do is learn!!!❤

Prices are outrageous. Drywall is $2 more a sheet than Home Depot, and they only had 4. 5 pounds of drywall screws is $30.00. Depot is $17.00. Done wasting time here. Driving 3 more miles to depot for now on.

Has the selection and feel of an ace hardware. Buying lumber was not my favorite experience though. you pay for the wood then pull your car around back to pick it up. I paid for a 2x4x8 treated stud and when i drive back there i couldnt find anyone. after driving in circles someone finally walked up to offer service they tried giving me a rotted untreated piece and when i insisted that it was treated i got a dirty look like i was a customer from hell.

Ok so my experience has been a nightmare. Im a renter and my land lord took our screens in to replaced. In the store I noticed one had a broken corner on the frame the associate assured me it it would be fine and it was still going to fit. Then he made sure not to let me carry them to my car and I thought wow great customer service. Turns out all three of them were broken and bent none of them fit in properly. Now I know why he carried them.

Always find what I need.. and theres always some one to help you find it.. not like home Depot or Lowes.. hate those places..

I went for a $10.00 propane Memorial weekend refill special and decided to also get a bag of water softener salt paid buy debit card at center i think lumber counter I went out back to pick up salt and get tank refill after arriving home looking at reciept notice I was charged$16.00 should of checked B4 leaving?

Just rented a carpet shampoo machine from them. Higher priced than their competitors. By the time I paid the rental fee, deposit, cleaning fee, extra for the tool accessories and bought the smallest container of carpet cleaner that they had, I had put in excess of $100 on my charge.The machine they rented me, had a broken handle and was difficult to use, but I was only doing the interior of a boat and I figured I would struggle through it. The machine was so dirty that I had to stop snd clean it before I could use it. The cleaning brushes were were covered with pet hair and other nasty things. I had to wear rubber gloves to clean it. When I was done, my carpet was dirtier than when I started. I returned the machine to Lumberjack and told the cashier how dirty the machine was and that the handle was broken. Not so much as Im sorry it didnt work out. $55.00 and I had to go rent a machine to clean the mess their machine had left. They lost any future bussiness from me.

People who work here are very knowledgeable about everything you are looking for and even make suggestions that may help you with whatever project you are working on.

Overall decent selection. Youll pay a bit more for the convenience of not having to drive to a larger store.
