I ordered the house coffee. Watery. The cinnamon rolls looked good. Sitting outside on a mid-August morning. Yes, its humid and the traffic is noisy.

Really disappointing. I understand the the building is older and I appreciate vintage decor but this coffee shop is very out of touch. Needs to be remodeled and invest in better coffee syrups than Torani that I can buy at the store.

If you enjoy mediocre coffee in a Dixie cup with a 25 minute wait this is the place to go.

Owner was very polite, and kind. He was very honest about the long wait time for the waffles, so I ended up ordering small smoothies. When I went to pick them up he had upgraded the smoothies for free to the next size up as an apology for the waffles. So generous.

I go there two to three times a month on Sunday mornings with my parents and always enjoy their coffee sitting outside. We love our hometown and like to see our always beautiful Gazebo that we will forever love ❤️

Ordered an Americano coffee this morning. Thinking this is a coffee shop, they would know how to make them. It is mostly hot water. You can barely taste the espresso.

Food is okay, coffee is mediocre.We wanted smoothies, iced coffee and some muffins. It took them almost 40 minutes to get them out to us. We like supporting locally owned businesses but expecting us to wait 40 minutes for the most simple things is just not going to work.

Lots of sugar free syrup options. Their online menu lists things not on the menu here physically in store. But if you ask, they can make it. Seating is a nice cafe with a city corner feel to it.

Fell in love with this charming Coffee Shop! The Home-made Mexican wedding cakes are the best I have ever had! Everything on their menu looks totally delicious! The owner and her staff are super friendly and welcoming! One more day here in New Braunfels and so I will be going back again before we go home!! Next time for lunch...going to order the adult Grilled cheese or the Monte Cristo...or maybe both just so I get to try them!

We spent 5 days in New Braunfels and came here 4 days out of the trip. The coffee was amazing! Highly recommend the Keto Pumpkin muffins. My wife loved them so much the 1st time she tried them, she went back and got more. Obviously Id go back again and recommend trying this place.

Visited this coffee shop several times this past week and tried a few of their pastries, both lunch and breakfast. Fresh baked goodies and good hot coffee regular or with extra flavors, like a latte with caramel macchiato. Had a ham, egg, cheese breakfast sandwich on croissant, and a spicy sausage kolache both delicious! The Danish are really yummy and their chicken salad on croissant was yummy too. Comfortable laid back ambience with good music to listen to. The owners are very personable and happy to help you. Enjoyed my time there

I came in because of the good reviews....but what a horrible experience.I ordered 3 things, cheese cake, hot chocolate and a black coffee.The cheese cake seemed to be home made but maybe with the worst recipe..it tastes 100% like cream cheese and the crust seemed uncooked.The hot chocolate was almost white and tastes like pure skim milk..The black coffee was quite tasty but it tasted just like folgers...but was mildly warm at best.I was sooo disappointed.. I just walked out and didnt even ask for a refund..

Went in really early when they were still opening up. It was nice and quiet and empty. Tried a muffin and kolaches, would go back for both. Will have to revisit for a sit down breakfast sometime but the staff was really nice, good service.

The coffee was definitely not worth the wait. The low quality products made the coffee taste cheap and not worthy the price!

I want to start off by saying, I love New Braunfels so much. Its really taken a spot in my heart and the numerous local businesses like New Braunfels Coffee as well. Great atmosphere inside(very cozy) but we did decide to sit outside. A small sugar free coconut iced latte and a jalapeno kolache is what I ordered. One of the lovely staff members brought us our orders outside...and we enjoyed the weather and scenery. I have to be honest and say the coffee didnt taste that great...there wasnt a nice coffee flavor or coconut for that matter. On the other hand.... THAT🙌🏼KOLACHE🙌🏼WAS🙌🏼SO🙌🏼FRIGN🙌🏼GOOD🙌🏼 thanks to the young lady who suggested it at the register. Ill Def be back next time Im in town for like a half dozen of those. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

My husband and I enjoyed a quiet mid-morning visit here but it was not quite what I had hoped for. We were hunting for more of a coffee shop, and was lead here but it is more like a cafe than anything else. It has tables far too small for laptops and hard chairs that are not louge worthy. I can see how its a good spot for groups that want some breakfast together and a good chat. However, I wouldnt recommend it as a study spot. Its definitely charming and quaint! Just not super comfy to hang out in for more than an hour.

I enjoyed the belgian waffle and the restaurant atmosphere (light jazz music playing in the background) made my morning delightful! Would recommend!

This place seems like its not even trying. Maybe theyre just relying on the central location to keep people coming in, but $20 got me a very bland melt featuring almost no cheese and my wife a just ok salad. They need to try to make good food if they want to survive, with all the good new places opening around here.

Moved to NB, glad to find a super casual coffee spot. Drinks were 8/10, and the pastries were very yummy and I loved the small local feel.

Great little coffee shop!!! Nice selection of tasty pastries. And the toffee is addictive!! Unsweetened iced tea is delicious, not bitter or over brewed. My son said the coffee was excellent.

Great place for NATURAL coffee! Roasted right here in New Braunfels.Waffles are nice and fluffy. Great people and environment. Nice people. Most food made by hand. They really are working around the pandemic.People really should take into account there arent many people working there. In Europe your meals usually last hours. Thats what New Braunfels trys to accomplish being a european city founded by a prince!

Cute place! Their cinnamon rolls are so good (and SO huge). They follow covid guidelines well and have outdoor tables available, which makes me feel safe. A great and easy place to take your kids too! Ill definitely go again!

The coffee is decent/good and the food is nice as well but sometimes they do things that dont make sense. I got a bagel with cream cheese and it came as a bagel and some cream cheese (i.e. I had to spread it myself). They gave me the flimsiest plastic knife Ive ever laid eyes on to boot, I thought I was going to snap the poor thing with the rock hard cream cheese.

Love the place! Its a good place to sit and study or just hangout. The coffee there is excellent! Great people working there as well.

The place looks good from the outside, walk in and it looks like a Shipleys donuts....was very disappointed as food layout does not look appetizing at all, the place needs more life inside (a big make over). I might try food next time, maybe I came in when everything was gone or something 🤔

Its not often you get to watch a bakery assemble the pastries with the fresh fruit and then pop them into the oven, but that is part of the experience here. The place is charming and old school plus they have made to order breakfastsand lunches. Not to be missed if you are close to downtown New Braunfels.

I love the white chocolate mocha frappuccino here and the deserts are oh so tempting and even unique sometime!-)

Coffee was great, service was great. Lost a star because an employee was up front without a mask. We chose this location since Crosswalk doesnt enforce any masks on guests walking around, and the only maskless person was an employee.

We came in to get a couple of iced coffees/Frappuccino’s. Pricing was comparable to Starbucks. My husbands Frappuccino was so sweet he couldn’t drink it while the Cinnamon dolce iced coffee I had was so bland all I could taste was cream. Sorry to say my $1 iced coffee from McDonalds is better then what we got from here. We ended up throwing them out.

This place is absolutely wonderful. They have a juice bar and a large variety of juices. I ordered carrot juice. It was made after I ordered it and came within 5 minutes. They have Starbucks hot coffee with all the different syrups. I got a ham, egg and cheese sandwich. We also ordered chocolate cake and cheesecake. The cheesecake was divine. The waitress was top notch. We sat outside. The restaurant is right in front of the gazebo. Unfortunately its also in front of the street, but that seems to occur with most of the outdoor seating in this area. We 100% recommend this restaurant.

This is a great place to stop in and grab a coffee or a snack. The parking is bad cause its in the old downtown area of a small City, but the service was excellent and the coffee was delicious. Definitely would recommend that anyone stop in and see for yourself.

The place has great pastries and cookies, but this person is no Barista... As bad as it is to say, I think I would have had a better latte from Starbucks. If you want a cheese Danish... This is your guy, but if coffee is what you wanted then go somewhere else.

Delicious food and friendly, welcoming atmosphere in a neat old building. Live acoustic music while having our homestyle breakfast. Staff was willing to accommodate when menu items were sold out to help us have a tasty breakfast, well worth the stop.

It’s okay. The cookies are very good. The coffee is very low quality. They have an espresso machine and a nice grinder but severely lack the correct training to produce great espresso. In addition I like the nostalgia of the place but it really really needs to be more clean and updated desperately. The staff was very friendly!
