There is a good selection of donuts here, the majority of the people working the counter are quick to take your order and process the payment.

This is our go to donut place in New Braunfels. The quality is always consistent and the variety is great. There are very few places that have this kind of variety including the chocolate iced cake donuts which are my mother in laws favorite.The kolaches are awesome here and come in spicy and plain and with or without cheese. All super yummy!One of the best things about this place is the convenience of the drive through. Who wants to face a whole line of people judging you for your cake donut and kolache addiction?Service is always good and the staff is friendly.

When i went to order a cockroach crawled on the counter and the lady that took my order looked as if it happens all of the time. They need to fix the roach problem

They were okay, apple fritter is different from most donut shops. I dont like it. And another donut I was drooling over online they did not have it at the store. So plain donuts it was!

Just got home, ordered half dozen glaze, 2 cream filled, two cinnamon rolls, 4 jalapeno kalaches, and 2 half dozen donuts holes, with 2 large dr pepper. They forced me to change the Dr peppers to cokes and they did not give me my 2 dozen donuts hole. I love there donuts but I wont be back after being shorte. Sounds petty but we all have our own things going on in life and that was important. Im very angry about being shorted after spending over 22 dollars. You need to get it together.

The coffee is very watered down and we did not get all the items we ordered. Do not make the same mistake I did ordering coffee and not double checking the bags.

Really good fresh doughnuts with many flavors to pick from. Even some that a certain other doughnut chain no longer makes. Hard to eat just one, or two. Especially love all the jelly filled flavors. Staff was quick to serve and friendly.

Best donuts and breakfast I had while on my trip to texas

Theres nothing like a dozen of smashed donuts in a tiny box. It would be much more appealing to put a dozen donuts in the flat box. Even my 1yr old didnt want to eat any. Id add pictures, but its too unappetizing.Poor service.

This seems to be the only place in town where the food workers aren’t wearing and protective gear. No masks/ gloves, nothing. The donuts are good but they’re obviously not concerned about the public heath. So so so disappointing coming from a business that’s been in our community for so long.

Donuts were fresh at 10:30 am on Sunday morning. Coffee was pretty good. More and more donuts were continually brought out for sale. Very busy drive-through business was a good tip-off. Only minus is seating is very limited, we were the only ones eating inside.

Staff is always welcoming and friendly when I come to this location. Theyre helpful picking out the goodies if you ask for recommendations. Otherwise, the donuts are always fresh and great tasting, as are the kolaches. If youre in town, this is the location to stop at to please your donut cravings.

Who doesnt like donuts? These are really good. The staff is friendly and the product good. Try the kolaches if youve never had them. Theyre a Texas staple and five well here.We had an early departure for a trip and bought breakfast to go. It was great. Not something well do every day, but what a treat.

I love their sausage rolls and donut holes. Always have a great variety on donuts. And yeah, they have my favorite fountain drink....Diet Dr. Pepper.

A good product but the guy work in the window at this store was challenged in his understanding of English and screwed up my order.

Went their the other day again and no doughnuts and what they had was old. What is going on with them. They need to be constant with their stock of doughnuts and coffee. Not good just for an hour. Everytime I go their now the shelves are empty and the limited amount of doughnuts are stale. No bear claws no maple bars and the cream in them tastes like granualed sugar.

Shipleys get an a+. the donuts are loved by both my mom and dad and my granddaughter.The only problem is I like them too but theyre not a part of my healthy eating style.

Good donuts and coffee. I ordered two apple fritters and coffee. The coffee is okay but not their specialty. However, there was so much delicious chunky apple filling in the first pastry that I was too full to eat the second. The seating area is small, but the staff kept the service area and bathrooms clean despite the brisk pace. A good place for a quick pick-me-up when passing through New Braunfels on IH-35, drivers can also tank up their vehicles at the nearby Pilot gas station.

Always fresh! Curteous staff! Very small and is often crowded. Parking is barely adequate as the lot is shared by other businesses. My only complaint is that this location doesnt have chocolate donut holes!

The doughnuts were fresh and the workers were kind. Its a good place to come and sit as a small group (2-3 people) but does get crowded after a while.

Everytime I go to Texas Shipleys is a must. We dont have a Shipleys nor any kolochies. You all have the best donuts as well.

IMHO, the best donuts are at Shipleys. They always put just enough jelly in them. My favorite is the Boston cream. The staff at this location was very friendly. Im not sure if they had the Big Earl kolache here, but if you run across one at a Shipleys, get it. You wont be disappointed.

The staff is really patient when youre trying to decide what to get for your dozen, because there are plenty of options! Theyll even suggest some based on the occasion and recipients. But it doesnt matter what you get because theyre all delicious.

They need to change the frying grease a bit more often. The last few times I was there I was unhappy with the taste.

If you havent been here in a while, then you need to go. I came here a few times years ago, and was unimpressed. I mean, it was ok, but only just ok.Something changed, because the donuts are amazing now. Even just the plain glazed are fantastic now. Staff is very friendly, too.
