I was quite impressed with this Pilot. It was clean and well maintained. The people were friendly and the thing that impressed me was all the employees were actually working. It seems like almost any place now days its hard to find more than a couple people actually doing what they are paid to do. Not here. Everyone was engaged in a productive task. And the clean well stocked store showed it. There was even a guy outside cleaning the pumps with a spray bottle and rag. Not just going through the motions, he was actually cleaning them. Normally I prefer Loves to Pilot, but this one was really nice. The employees and management are to be commended.

I just saw one of the PFJ employees cleaning the men’s room floor urinal area with the shower towels. So beware, if he’s doing this, how clean are things? He could be taking those same towels and “cleaning” the counters too…multiple health code violations…disgusting cleaning practices…and we all wonder why we are still dealing with Covid…

First time here. I am a OTR Truck Driver, I stopped to shower and call it a day when I got out of the shower I realized my dirty clothes were sitting next to a pile of dry remains…. I explained this to the cleaning crew and managers and they honestly said “Oh….Okay” and nothing else. I even took it a step further with the manager and said honestly this is disappointing because you have nothing else to say or even try to resolve my experience. I left and went to another location. That’s terrible service on all ends.

This is the worst pilot I’ve ever been to. Their pumps are always down they’re always out of DEF. and to top it off you can barely get in the entrance because there’s trucks parked you can only go one truck at a time this is a fire hazard. Hope this helps calling out to corporate to fix these issues. There’s never food put out for Driver’s McDonald’s is always doing maintenance and subway is always closed

Good Pilot overall. Spacious, clean, variety of food and coffees. Kind staff. One thing they need to improve is driveway, deep holes…

This is a Truck stop. With regards parking, If the sign says no parking at the entrance because its a fire lane and you get woke up by the police to move.... well lets face it driver you are the one who needs to accept it. Remember if you planned your trip better you may not be in this situation like select 3 or 4 places to check before getting to the last place.Remember the 6 Ps Proper planning prevents pi ss poor performance parking at a truck stop is a privilege not a right!

Problem with the pumps accepting payments. Did not want to go inside due to mobility issues but there was no choice. Clean location. Good selection for drinks.

Worse place... not alot of parking spots and if you park in other place other then a parking spot theyll call the cops pn you.

This is the worse pilot to come to in TX. Got woken up by police because thats how hypothetical r ppl here. Profesional driver out of hours sleeping, they turn their siren on and all their lights to have lifeless truckers mover half as sleep….. never going back to this man hole.

10-26-2018. Only one way in and out. Holes are so deep, it shifted load that was strapped. Got to receiver and load was rejected. Thanks Pilot for screwing my money up. It would be ok if I was a company driver, but I’m not. Every load I take is my livelihood.

Yesterday, me and my family stopped for a bite to eat. A young man in front of us seemed to have problems paying after like 5 minutes the cashier Pacing back and forth I decided to pay the cashier with LONG BLUE NAILSdidnt get her name. She said I didnt have to she gave him the meal. Our turn next. Two off us Our experience was terrible and will never go back. 5 family members got their food faster at McDonalds next door and us still waiting on for this young lady with BLUE LONG NAILS TO GET OURS

DONT STOP HERE!! i stopped and got only $28 of gas and i just got a message from my bank saying a charge of $151 was made to my card!!! either the card readers have scanners or they decided to take more money out idk but i most definitely did not spend that much. i used the pump correctly and waited until the welcome sign flashed on the screen again before leaving. THIS GAS STATION WILL MAKE CHARGES TO YOUR CARD!!! STAY AWAY

Bathroom was clean. Store looks pretty clean overall. Descent size truck lot. Really disappointed in these truck stops that do NOT have stamps or mailboxes for truckers. Im sure they know its difficult on the road to get stamps and drop things in the mailbox so why not accomidate!?!? Give truckers a break please.

Good luck parking in reserve spot around the feul island, and if you do you WONT get out of it in the morning. The manager doesnt care, nor does customer service.

They called the cops on a bunch of trucks for parking outside the spots. I get that its technically illegal but they were not in the way

Average or maybe a bit above average Pilot. The place wasn’t busy but the bathrooms weren’t great. They do have a good selection of food and drinks, and you can def get some deals with the free Pilot app.

Dirty track is stap, but in justification you need to say a friendly stuff, clean McDonald’s, clean showers (you have to be patient, the electronic key does’t open the doors, you need to ask the guy to open his own key)

Got prime parking paid no spots they wanted me to park on fuel island to sleep they didnt like when I said im gonna stay their til 2 pm next day they also said they give fines to person in reserve slots very rude night Manager didnt care what problem I had no parking had to leave

Definitely not a Truck Stop if they are closed for 4” of snow, the gas pumps are not even turned on. We’re out here hauling and working, we need fuel, food and hot showers.

Clean, modern store, with a decent selection of merchandise. Its in a good location just off the highway and easy to get in and out of. Store can get a bit busy at times, but the employees keep up with the rush.Ive been able to find new release sodas and snack items at this location, and the snack selection is usually pretty good. Restrooms are usually decently clean.

IF you like a good strong coffee this is the place for that. Especially when wanting to go a few more miles without jeopardizing the safety of yourself and others on the road. Safe place to stay for few Zs in your vehicle. Area for parking are well lighted and very close to the Sheriffs Department. Approximately 1/2 block from them. Courteous associates. Clean facility and showers are available with a reasonable fee. Happy and safe traveling with our Lords blessings.

Premium wifi is useless even in the closest spots to the building. Parking lot and entrance is poorly lit at night and cramped. Lot gets full early. Truck entrance is poorly signed and trucks could easily confuse the car entrance for the truck entrance as they are in two totally separate areas and the two parking lots are not connected. Trucks parked in the fire lanes and in no parking zones, no security here to enforce parking. Building is older and not in great shape. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Arrogant rude employees. Dirty restroom. Windshield wiper cleaner are broken and dont squeegee . Politely asked manager to brew fresh coffee and was told no. Was rudely informed that they are all fresh because they always make all six at the same time and they were made right before she came in. I walked away from the idiot and to the McDonalds and they abliged.

I never like to leave bad reviews, or really anything less than 5 stars, but let me tell you why this place deserves it.I live in Houston, so I frequent this location as I have routes going through here often.The entrance and road leading to the parking lot for trucks is not something that Pilot controls, but its part of the experience. The potholes are large, and its somewhat inconvenient to enter the parking lot the way you have to for this store.The parking lot itself has some decently sized holes, which makes drivers go slower through the parking lot, but its not fun driving across all of this.There isnt much parking, either. Luckily Im bobtail this time, but usually Im not so lucky.Fuel islands are pretty conveniently located, CAT scale is somewhat hidden, and if drivers stack up overnight, it can be somewhat difficult to get a trailer into the scale, especially if the tandems are back.Today was my first time taking a shower. Came in around 5am and there were a bunch of showers available, but for some reason, the person who cleaned my shower decided not to clean the toilet. I get that sometimes things can get a little behind, and maybe this was one of those times, but it definitely doesnt look clean.The food options are great, though. Subway and a McDonalds. The subway wasnt open, whether it be from lack of staffing (Covid, its totally understandable, everyone is short on staff right now), or from the hours, it wasnt a big deal, McDs was open.The staff was nice when I got fuel, but thats pretty much the only interaction I had with them today.Ill be back its kind of the only one around in the area, but Id rather them get their stuff together and make this a better experience for the drivers.As I visit in the future, this rating may change, but for now, 3 stars. About the rudest pilot i have ever seen or been in. If i could give minus stars it would be -10 stars. I will never stop here ever i will take my business to loves travel centers... At least they greet their customers with a hello and a thank you for coming to their store.

No hassle about being mask free. Huge Plus+. Parking lot needs to be cleaned up a bit, course it was raining. We are so tired of subway and McDonalds. Can you get new restaurants please...

The other day I arrived at 9 at night and there was no parking and I had to park at the entrance, at about 10 at night they came to have me move from there because if I did not they would call the police and the tow truck, I hate that they do that, I no longer had hours in my book to look for another gas station, definitely very bad treatment of drivers who arrive looking for a place to spend the night

I bought prime parking spot but when I went to get it their wasnt any place to park they wont check for persons not supposed to be there night Manager was no help not gonna go back for anything .anger was rude also saying not her fault no prime spot available

Professional staff!Entering the building, I was greeted with smiles and a Welcome-In. Such wonderful employees. Everyone I saw was smiling, friendly, and ask if I needed help with anything. Makes me want to stop in everyday. The restroom was clean and the showers very nice, not cramped.The owner of this store, SHOULD BE THANKFUL FOR THE MOST OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEES.5 stars everyday from me to the, BOSS MAN, the managers and all the employees.You guys are such a pleasure to be around and my experience was so pleasant. This place is a nasty, dirty truck stop. Trucks parked all over fuel island, all over blocking fire lanes. Restrooms were dirty. Shower was dirty, moldy, water pressure sucked because of calcium buildup on the shower head. Hot water kept coming and going as I showered

Good place to stop. Choices of different foods. Walk around and lots of snacks drinks. The latest electronics and accessories. They have shower facilities for a fee. Theyll give you soap and towels. Mickey Ds on site so as cinnamon rolls and other eats. Try this place while traveling for any occasion.

I stopped at this Pilot Travel Center to get some fuel and get my household goods weighed. The CAT scale is EXTREMELY difficult to find and there are no signs leading to it. I have never encountered this much trouble trying to navigate my way around a gas station to use their CAT scale before. There was a point I even got stuck and had to unload my vehicle on the tow dolly to reverse out of the congested area. On top of all this, once I did get tot the scale, the man behind the counter had the audacity to tell me how I needed to get my equipment weighed. In fact, he didn’t even provide me with the weight ticket I had categorically asked him for. My company has a specific policy on how they want their tickets and this man apparently knew better. I’ve been doing this for the past 20 years and evidentially this rookie is the subject matter expert. I will continue to go to Love’s Travel Center instead after this very horrific experience with Pilot.

As with nearly all Pilot Travel Stops its a great place to stop for fuel, snacks and nearly any other items that you might need or want while on the road. As usual its clean, well maintained and has really friendly and helpful employees. The showers are wonderful. Ive never been to a Pilot Travel Stop that had showers that were anything less than immaculate. I love the showers at Pilot. Any time Im on the road I go out of my way to make Pilot the place that I stop for gas and snacks

Clean, very clean. Showers were stocked well, and once again, clean! Has good coffee, fresh. There is no canopy when you walk out the back door so straight in the rain. Covered walk would be nice addition. I will stay here again.

Rude cashiers obnoxious, purchased cigarettes, and when I commented on the cheap prices, trying to be friendly her and the other young lady with her, both in their late 20s or early 30s, decided I would be the one for them to chastise and give a rude speech to about how me and my husband have no business smoking, its cheaper to not buy them, they quit and we need to too, I shouldnt be smoking, etc., etc. Regardless of my choices they have no right to be treating customers like that and telling them how to live their lives, even admitted to me that they have criticized others too because they know better than we do. Glad my husband wasnt in store with me. The 2 stars are for the coffee being fresh and that area being cleanish.

I went to buy oil for my truck. The lady was very nice assisting me in getting a funnel. She had noticed I was looking at the funnels and pointed out another funnel in a different location which I ended up buying. Thank you mam.😉

When paying with a card at the pump, they put an additional $150 hold on my card in addition to the $40 charge for gas.

Great place to get gas and snacks as well as anything else you might need. They have very reasonable prices extremely clean restrooms and their selection and prices are excellent. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely come back

Omg I was so pleased with the friendly staff here. As you walk in, they are greeting you with a hello, good morning or afternoon. They have a hot foods counter. Prices are reasonable low. Good food. Lots of traffic comes through so they are pretty busy. But they are patiently serving people with a smile.

Clean. House coffee was empty. Checking in the Frito-Lay vendor was more important than the customers in line. While the clerk was able to multi-task the customer was not the priority. The only conversation was the counting of boxes and if I wanted a receipt. At 4:30-5am the coffee really seems like it is a featured item of some importance. Glad he was going to make some. I however am on a schedule and am not interested in waiting for sometime in the future for the possibility of coffee. So, now I am tasked with finding a different brand of coffee or deciding on an alternative beverage at another location that wasnt a scheduled stop or skipping it all together. This happens frequently at this time of day all over the areas we travel. Must be too early for morning coffee.

When youre on the road this is a great place to stop and get a snack and something to drink. The one I stopped at had a subways sandwich shop inside they have something that everybody will like, lots of choices. Of course there is gas and Diesel available, just watch out for the big trucks.

This place has tons of gear for the trucking professional, flashlights, batteries, phone cords, gloves, all types of tools and gadgets. Theres a variety of food and drinks, both bottled, fountain, and brewed drinks, fresh cooked and packaged, and snacks. There are t-shirts, hats, and souvenirs. Dont forget they have public 🚹🚺🚽. Fun place to stop.

Excellent source of all things needed. Great service. Too much emphasis on the App.I know its trending but if employees are too dogmatic about the features and what costs what if you have app or not, it will serve as the opposite ➡️ disappointed customers and disgruntled employees. Take your time with roll out. Remember customer is always right, not marketing department. This place is going to do well. Its an excellent place to stop.

Staff was rude. Parking lot full of pot holes. Lot lizards running around all night. I use pilot on a regular basis. This is the worst one I’ve ever seen!

Pilot travel centers are a great place to stop when your on long trips. They have a huge assortment of drinks and snacks. Restrooms are large and well maintained.

Needs work alot of pilots and flyingjs these day seem like they are satisfied to just let them fall apart plus they have replaced most of the sit down restaurants to fast food and subways. There Pb fresh stuff is poor substitute and usually low quality. Not trying to bash on them but I think they have lost touch with what drivers want from a truck stop. Just thinking about their profit margin and where they can save a buck over giving better service.

Most of the staff are friendly, but there is poor management here. Fuel island is broke down, no clean squeegee or water. Trucks parked blocking most of the entrance to island. Bobtails parked in trailer spots. Trash cans dont get emptied. Out were the drivers park its just nasty. I went to motel for a shower. Very bad management.

The Pilot Travel Center, of New Braunfels, TX, chose, THE BEST MAN, FOR RUNNING THE STORE. (great job Sir, on selecting your staff). THEY SURLY ARE THE MOST PROFESSIONAL, AWESOME EMPLOYEES AND CREW IVE EVER MET, and Ive stopped at many places in my past years and The Pilot Travel Center employees have always been polite, friendly and helpful, to me. Their bright smiling faces, the Welcome-In greetings, upon entering the store, and the short conversations, at check out, are always such a pleasure.I stop here every time Im visiting, or just passing through. The restrooms have always been clean, and have never smelled or been messy, like most Truck Stops. Ive had to wait for a shower once, as I recall, and the crew was very quick on cleaning and gathering fresh towels. They made my wait time, pass quickly, by making good conversation, being friendly and being so helpful.THANKS TO YOU ALL, YOURE DOING AN AMAZING JOB!!!!Keep doing just what yall do.

This Pilot location is awesome! All of the employees are friendly. All the road trip type snacks you could need. Lots of different drinks to choose from. Also, 3 restaurants here. McDonalds, Subway, and Cinnabon. Good location too right off the highway.

Best showers I’ve ever seen at a truck stop. Updated and very clean. Friendly employees. Store has a strange smell in the inside. Parking lot was full to capacity. Free shower if you purchase 50 gallons of gasoline.

Stop here for gas on a regular basis on my trips to Texas. The gas prices are better than most of the truckstops along the interstates so for a professional driver it pays to stop here. The police have people pulled over on the nearby roads several times when Ive stopped here. Maybe theres a speed trap nearby.

Typical Pilot facility. Just stopped for gas and restrooms. Has prices excellent and restrooms spacious and clean. Good place for quick stop but has many choices for food.

Nice people. Not a Buckeyes but meat place too. Texas. Truck stop. Is unique.

Good spot to pick up fuel. Hot food showers or drinks. Parking for a few dozen road warriors in back.

The Pilot was amazingly clean well stocked with everything that you could need. They have a Subway and McDonalds available.

It was so clean. The staff was nice and welcoming. Loved all the options of food to choose from. Very clean showers and the attendant was attentive to our needs. Wished all pilots were like this one with choices.

Excellent experience. The manager on duty, Daniel, was very nice and helpful. Good, clean store. Easy off/on I-35 at exit 184.They have a McDonalds, Subway, and Cinnabon here.Get the Pilot rewards card. There are several advertised deals in the store for drinks, but you have to use a rewards card to get those prices.

Laundry machines and dryers not fitted for Credit/Debit cards.

Always friendly and courteous staff. Prompt service. And impeccable housekeeping.

Needs to have signs showing trucks how to get in. The truck entrance is off a side street nearly 1/4 mile from the car entrance and very difficult to navigate in the dark while raining. Drivers should be aware they will have to pay to park.

Best price for gas I have seen sometimes as much as 15 cents better per gal. They keep the place clean and the staff is nice. Plus there is usually allways 2 cash regesters open all the time

Restrooms smelled up the whole store. Only one toilet was operational. The smell was enough to make me vomit my meals for the past week.

Who designed this stop,parking is way to far away from store. Plenty of room to the side. Why not expand in that direction and make it more convenient.

Management needs to get parked trucks in the entrance and exit driveway moved. Makes it hard to get in and out of truckstop. Would be interesting if a fire truck needed to get in for an emergency.

Its a great place for drive by convenience. They have a lot of goodies and gas station. Truck stop convience for them. Also McDonalds and Subway. They are friendly.

Pulled in and parked for the night. Had an employee knocked on our door saying we were in a reserved spot. Told the guy we were not because there is only 15 spots that show reserved on the website. We were in the 17th spot from where it began. The bathrooms were nasty in the evening & morning. No regular coffee at 6am in morning thank goodness McDonald was opened. Gave two stars because staff was nice but managment could use improvement

It’s a Pilot so you already expect it to be decent but the showers are outstanding! Easily the nicest travel center showers I’ve ever been in. Really nice staff too!
