Nicer and cleaner since the remodel, a real dump before. Great prices, but VERY limited inventory in both variety and stock levels due to the tiny size of the store. More of a convenience store than a grocery store. Always hit and miss there! Close to home and convenient, but dont shop there very often because of VERY limited selection of mostly no-name brands and fresh items usually expired or close to it. But they are good in a pinch and the cashiers are quick, if not usually very friendly.

Love Aldis for beef carnita, chocolates, sometimes they have smoked salmon. I call it baked salmon.

I love aldis. Amazing prices!!! Guacamoles fresh for .80cents!! Is just an example to what you can expect for prices. Spend like $50 for single person and come out with a ton of groceries. Even walmart cant beat aldis prices

The new renovation speaks for itself. I used to dislike this store if I’m being honest because it was dark and grungy looking. It’s a whole new grocery store now though. It’s really clean, bright, and well stocked.

Most Aldis are great. Im so glad theyre renovating the Hartford store. I cant find some things I need in aldis. I wish they had more choices for diet meals, like another version of lean cuisines etc.

I like this Aldi location a lot! Every time I go there, the staff is helpful and the vibe of the grocery store is always positive. I had an issue with some bacon (it was spoiled) I purchased a prior visit, and the cashier was able to exchange my bacon in an easily and customer service focused way. I will continue shopping here!

I dont like the casiers yelling two lines,two lines go to the other line.

They recently renovated. The space is much bigger and organized now. Only thing is. When COVID started people got used to one line and waiting to be called on. NOW you can just walk to any line. (If there is more than one open. Usually never) So when people start making one line, whoever is the casheer yells out theres two different lines. I would recommend a sign. And patience to the casheers. Too many changes every day.

Good selection of food, but a ton of people wearing their masks incorrectly or not wearing them at all, and when I told an employee about a customer that I saw without a mask, they said that they cant enforce the mask rule. And I even saw some aldi employees wearing their masks improperly. I dont want to seem rude but considering we are in the middle of a pandemic, I thought I would voice my concern about this. Because mask wearing is very important right now

Clean restrooms and good customer service

This is one of the worst Aldi store I have experienced. This place does not follow the store timings. Any time I come here I found it and early close for some reasons such Covid 19, renovations or some unannounced holidays. Bad management. And furthermore never have enough stock ups.

Great prices. Fresh produce. Even was able to get organic vegetables and mini cucumbers and grape tomatoes for my Easter Sunday salad. Cashier fast and friendly. Quick in and out of the store. Also love how the isles are super wide twice as wide as other supermarkets!

Half of what I was looking for was not on the shelves I guess its because they just open the new store three days ago but I also noticed prices are higher not sure if I will shop there again but I will give it another chance.

Nice place, nice products! Not much customer service but most of the employees are nice. Remember, the employees have many tasks to do and that how with limited employees they pass on the savings to you. If you are a toxic, chronic complainer, that whines about everything, this place may not be the ideal place for you.

Good staff. Interesting selection. I dont go there often but whenever I do I find the meat to be excellent. The ice cream tends to be a little short on selection but always good flavors. The number of snacks is very high, I would recommend to go here if you want something just a nibble on. Lots of non Supermarket items in here as well which I find very interesting. I kind of consider this a specialty store.

I went twelve (12) minutes before closing & even though I went over my an additional ten (10) minutes they were very pleasant & nice. It was my first time there & Ill continue to go back to that location~....

The store is good but the register lines are unbelievable so long and they only have 1 cashier at a time rarely you get 2 so no that is a major let down because if you want to run in and get something fast you cant you have to have at least 25min or more to wait

Always organized and great staff. It gets pretty crowded at times but the workers seem to get a handle on it pretty fast and make the lines move quickly. Location is nice and very convenient.

Love Aldi! Cheap and has many organic and flavorful selections. Dairy is well stocked as is produce. Loved the fact I could go to New Britain Connecticut or Colorado and fill my cooler for under 10$.

Overall--a good experience with good pricing. I go there just for certain items like dry foods (boxed or container). I find the meats to be a little too grizzly or enhanced for flavor and juiciness.The fruits and vegetables are a little to ripe when they come in. I found that they would spoil in just a few days.They have their own competing brands which are excellent and always less $ than the national big shots.

The worst supermarket in new Britain, I do not recommend. They dont deserve even one star. I saw one student come inside, he was around 12 years old, and one worker didnt let him in, because he has a backpack on, I found this rude and racist I dont know what the store clerk was thinking but I am deeply upset.

I liked the setup of the store even though it made finding certain items difficult. Looking forward to the ALDI opening in Newington, NH in spring 2020.

Great prices, lots of the fruits and veggies are also organic (while still being a good price) and unique items on one of the shelves can be a steal! Dont forget to bring your reusable bags in.

My go-to grocery store! Close by my place. Has all the basics! Great prices! They sell mainly their own brands, but no complaints so far (except their Cheerio copy :p) bring your own bags! I believe they accept certain credit cards now.

Renovation makes it hard to shop over an hour before closing &they are cleaning shelves to put the food out of their way i havent seen a store so bare should just close for a few days rather than how they are doing in

Freshly updated store carrying more and more organic products at great prices. Sometimes some great finds for imported items, especially cheeses.The one considerable down side of this location is the difficult to cross traffic around the store. Quite a hassle during afternoon rush hour.

Dont like the shopping cart thing with the quarter. Good prices. The checkout people seem very tightly wound.

I love aldi and it just keeps getting better. Not only can I get a cart full of groceries its much cheaper than going to any other grocery store. And they stopped using artificial ingredients in most of their products, even better.

The prices are good, but the selection and customer service leave much to be desired.

The prices are fantastic compared to places like Stop and Shop or Price Chopper, the dry, frozen, canned, and otherwise preserved goods are great. The meat is good, only beaten in price by a near by independent butcher, and it has the cheapest milk and eggs around. Its the Produce that keeps this place from being five stars; Mushrooms, watermelons and the like? Things you can see clearly? Fine. Berries? Often rotten on the bottom or in the middle. Everything else is fantastic.

Clean, well stocked, recently renovated location. Live in West Hartford but make special trip to NB for this store just because we can rely on them to have everything on our list. Friendly, helpful staff. If you aren’t an ALDI convert yet try here or the Bristol location.

Loved this store in the past and since remodeling store October 2020, management & staff are less than helpful.Sometimes we shop at other locations and find the service much friendlier & better.Previous mgmt here was better.Its the only grocery store close to home within walking distance, so 85%+ of my groceries come from here, supplemented by Costco.Update October 2020. Store expanded & remodeled. New management & staff are mediocre.

Its okay.. the meat I would not buy. And also their bread..its bad before you buy basically. the meat will expire in about a day or two also goes for bread.. sometimes the dips you need to really look at because they expire the same day or next day. I love aldis but this one here I feel sells produce that is old and is going to expire within a day or two not worth your buck if you ask me..
