You should probably know EXACTLY where something is before you go, especially in the electronics section. Getting help to find something that is apparently in stock is like pulling teeth. It just boils down to pure laziness. Their only saving grace is that you can find some good deals sometimes.

I visited the new castle store early in the morning around 8am and was pleasantly surprised by the good service I got. the staff were cheerful and eager to help. definitely a huge improvement from the past.

This Walmart always has some type of disorganization going on it never fails. Some reps know their there to work others will walk away and never come back if your asking for them to check on an item if its back stocked.Not all reps are terrible but I wish they would move the good ones to a better location and close this location down.

The store is setup strangely compared to others Ive been to. They at least made an effort to put their plus size department together.

I am used to the Walmart stores in Arizona… here is different.I do not think Walmart here is a big business compared to Arizona.

Bought a 10 piece pot set for my new home, only to open up the pot set a few days later and discover there were only 2 pots and 1 lid in the entire set. Clearly someone returned it missing pieces or they were stolen and the box was taped back up on put back on the floor.I’m hoping that I am not given a hard time when I try to return this half @$$ set they had on the shelf 😤.

Definitely too busy, had a simple issue and attempted to call, no one answered after 4 calls over an hour time period and tried another dpt. as well. Had to resort to corporate and they clearly had same problem. Therefore, they placed a complaint and my issue went unresolved. Couldve easily been taken care of over the phone within this location.

No bags for groceries, long lines and then you want to hold me up by checking my receipt after your employee watched to make sure I rang everything up. She could have been on a register checking people out. Self check out socks. If I wanted to be a cashier I would apply.

So overly poor customer service. Many employees standing around having own personal conversations among themselves, not tending to the massive customer lines that are forming throughout the front end of the store. not a single one of the 12 self check out registers accept cash, only about a handful of them are even operational,only one employee operating a actual register who accepts cash, the line for said register was almost to the opposite ends of the store many customers still want to use cash but this establishment seems not to care about their patron satisfaction.

This is the 2nd time in under 2 months that I was almost car jacked at this location… there is many criminals in the parking lot. I could’ve lost my life the way things happened today… they tried blocking my car in so that when she opened my door handle u couldn’t pull off…. I can’t come back… I won’t risk my life anymore.

A nuisance and an eye sore. This store loves to blast their obnoxious automated security system messages which can be heard clearly in the neighborhood adjacent at all hours of day and night. This store ruins the ambience on top of grossly underpaying employees forcing them to use public assistance to survive. Corporate subsidies with extra steps, absolutely disgusting. I don’t shop here and I would implore anyone reading this to not either.

Walmart is a store of convenience and generic goods. Over the years - and my occasional stops at their stores - Ive noticed inflated prices on items. Some things have great price deals; other things make you raise an eyebrow... Im not a regular shopper of Walmart, but I am a savvy shopper in general. The bright spot is that I found 1/2 of the cleaning items I wanted.

I take advantage of the Walmart app so I am able to find everything in a quick manner. I love how organized the isles are and the staff are constantly front facing. They have great deals and friendly workers. I went in the morning and they weren’t as busy.

Rude employees, lack of customer service or availability of a manager. When you can get a manager, they dont care. Dirty store, lack of stock, even before pandemic, or items sit on pallets, shrink wrapped, blocking the isles and access to items on shelf. Item locations being changed continually. The only real reason to shop here is price.

Store was not stocked at all! Nothing inwas looking for was available and no workers available to help. Once I found one the other workers constantly called over the walky talky and when he said Im with a customer they got an attitude and told him he was needed. So I was then left high and dry again. Very uncomfortable because he just kept apologizing for that but not his fault! He was good, the others were not.

Theyre 👌. Everythings fully and stock usually. Things are easy to locate. Now heres the bad part. This location does not have enough workers. The customer service area is usually always closed or something going on with them where theyre not open whether theyre supposed to be or if they choose to close early. They clearly have a pest issue soon as you walk through the door theres a trap of some kind for either an insect or a rodent. But if Im going for a tax-free and knowing Im going to spend a lot Ill take it.

Services that are advertised as open (money Center) are closed because they do not have enough employees. I also had to ask 4 different employees about the status of the money Center before I got a clear answer. Extremely disappointed and this is exactly why Walmart is losing a loyal customer base

This Walmart is a pretty well stocked store but it is currently undergoing some changes according to employees so items might be moving about. The seasonal section also changes as needed. Currently there are pool items and grill items. There is an ATM and there is fairly clean bathrooms with a small sink on the side for young kids. The self check out moves fast but there isn’t cash back and there is no removable side scanner.

Always busy and often short on popular items. Mainly because its the busiest location in the region

Do not expect any customer service here. If you actually find a staff member who is willing to help you, they dont know where anything is stocked.🙄

Disappointing outing. The department I needed was understaffed and overcrowded.I went to get a label for return of a small purchase. A polite associate at the door directed me to Money Services near the entrance. There were 14 people in line and just one (1) associate staffing the department. I turned right around and walked out the door.Unfortunately, it didnt occur to me until I started writing this review that what I should have done was brought it to the attention of store management right then.I regret not acting more responsibly. Hopefully, this review will come to the attention of someone in the company who can correct the situation.

It located in a ghetto area. The customers are 98% trash. Half the staff is trash. You constantly find open half eaten stolen food items all over the store eaten by the trash and left on shelves. I hate going there. If I know I can get something from another store, I would go there instead of having to deal with lowlife welfare trash.

Found a Windshield frost cover on the shelf from $4. It was discounted after the winter of last year and marked back up this year. Walmart of new castle honored the clearance tag price from last year for $4 @ customer service. Operator # 006550. Its pretty together and well stocked. Friendly staff at the self checkout which I prefer to do. Slot of traffic so go early morning/late evening.

This isnt the worst Walmart Ive been too but its no where near the best, calling in you maybe left on hold forever or a few minutes, my wife made an order online for a pink top and ended up with a yellow one, the parking spot for online pick up are always full of shoppers (Nothing much Walmart can do about that its just people) the shelves are stocked nicely, some of the staff are nice but some arent tactful. The addition of self checkout is a great boost for this store as the normal registers get jam packed with people while the self checkout moves quickly. The store is clean Ive never seen a huge mess just the normal fast food cups sitting around almost empty on shelves with merchandise. All in all its not the worst Walmart and will suffice for quick shopping trips

Auto service center did a great job on my oil change and topping off all fluids. They just forgot to make sure my hood was latched close properly. Any and everything you need is at Walmart.

I hate this walmart me and my wife were wrongly acused of shoplifting multiple times even after we were asked to go from self checkout all the way to a register and sit there while all of our items were scanned and then paid for every single item after that we were accused of shoplifting again i just pushed our cart into the wall dropped all our items and we left and simce then i have boycotted this walmart and i hope all of you that see this will too and instead go to the immensely cleaner better more stocked elkton walmart

07/28/21This Walmart is disgusting. Ive lived in this area for 52 years and this was absolutely sad. The store is dirty, the employees are nasty, dirty looking and unprofessional. There were only about 5 out of 30 checkout isles open. Workers were cursing, you couldnt tell employees from customers. This store should be either shutdown or revamped. Clean house by starting with the unprofessional employees, it should start from the top, the store manager should be ashamed of themselves and quite frankly they should be fired! Find someone with some personal pride and self respect.

It wasnt stocked up it didnt have all I came for, hope it will be better my next trip there.

Someone dropped part of my order not even boxed or bagged. Threw bag of cheetos on floor by front door. Sorry, this isnt ok. Please do better next time, thank you

I ordered a grocery delivery, it’s said it would be a 2 hour express order, that I was forced to pay $18.00 extra for!!!!, it’s been well over 3 hours now and nothing!! Can’t track the driver, called the store, the phone just rings and rings. This Walmart is by far the worst store. Just do not come here, or shop here in any way!!! They are straight B.S. in there!!!

This walmart shelves are never fully stocked. Lids for the storage containers but no containers, fitness apparel out of stock. The undercover bosses need to walk through these stores.

There never no pick up parking spots because there not marked clearly so customers park there. I did a pickup before between hours 6-7pm came 11pm at night nothing! A email saying delayed! No one answers the phone at this store. I try avoiding shopping here when I can..

My experience was Good until the end.I called my daughter back in the store, so my mother can use her cart for supportThe bag checker accused my daughter of something not being on her receipt after the fact. She Didnt even ask her to see her receipts as she just walked out pass her not even a min prior holding us back. I found what i was looking for during a visit to this Wal-Mart.This is the case with most of the other visits to Wal-Mart.Even though the Covid-19 pandemic is still around the price at Wal-Mart havent really changed with the items i purchased which is more than what i CAN SAY is the case with MOST other businesses.Thats just a true and honest fact.

Lastly, Rena the cashier, either doesnt want to work or simply moves exceptionally slow on purpose just to agitate the customers. If you have to go to walmart, avoid the Bear Walmart. Shelves always empty, problematic scan and go system that always needs assistance from human staff, and Im not even going to go in on the staff, because peope have to work, but a little training and alot of accountability go a long way.

Terrible. Ordered tires online. I was told that the tires will be at the service area and tires installation is available at that location. Went there, parked at the tire & service center, like I was told to. Knock at the access door and wait, and wait: No answer. Walk around the building get in the store and walked down to the tire & service center for an associate to tell me they are closed and the tires must be picked up at the regular orders pickup near the store entrance. Walked back their to be told that the tire & Service center is closed at 4:00 PM. I was there before 4:00 and they were already closed.

This is a regular size Walmart. They do not have auto shop. Long lines at cash registers. And lanes are too narrow because of merchandise boxes in middle of aisles.

No carts and also the line situation with registers can become frustrating 😑 There should be signs on the registers that accept cards or cash only. Feel bad for the elderly that may get just as confused as me.

This is the most unorganized Walmart in Delaware. How is it that you can purchase items until closing but, can only return something until 5pm? Some people work until 5 or travel to different states for work and cant get there by 5. Ill just start going to other Walmarts that are run correctly!!!!!

Walmart sales paint but cant mix it!!!! There are no signs anywhere stating it doesnt work. They kept me waiting in the store for 30 mins. On hold with customer service for 15 mins. Nobody to answer any questions. If it would have allowed me I would give negative stars. Walmart needs to have money taken from executives. I shop at this store abt everyday, it has everything I need. The clerks are very helpful.

It states on this website that they open at 6AM, which is misleading, I got here at 6:15am on my way to work, only to meet people outside who had been waiting since 6AM. We could see the staff in there just cleaning up. No one could come outside to let us know this is the time they open. We called, nobody picked up. Eventually people started leaving, at this time and age, they should know people gets their information from the internet, therefore update the website.

The hours need to be updated on website that the money center closes early. We have no idea what time they close and no one ever answers the phone. Website says 8 pm but clearly it’s whatever time they want to close. Someone could at least update the hours on a voicemail so people don’t waste time driving up there to be informed they are closed.

Basic Walmart got what I needed had no problems

This store isnt organized, they dont pick up items that have fallen or placed in a different spot. Some of the staff are very rude, when you ask for help it takes a long time for them to respond. I like shopping at walmart however Ive been noticing that the prices of things are the same or higher in other store.

Hunting for an employee while on the floor is a pain. Most times when you ask a question. The employee does not know the answer. Kind of frustrating.

Walmart is always hit-or-miss I just feel like there is always a lot of people there was not enough registers and theyre always out of stock of things you need to get more night workers so you can stock the shelves instead of having everyone stocking the shelves through the day and youre trying not to trip over boxes while youre shopping for the week

Staff was very rude; while trying to get items off of the shelf, a highly rude and ignorant employee said you need to move because I am stocking this shelf, and several employees did not even make any effort to move or allow us to go through the aisles as we were trying to shop. And 6 employees were all hanging out at the end of an aisle doing absolutely no work and jumping off of a cart or a pallet jack, acting like complete fools.

The parking lot looks disgusting, I understand that people are naturally disgusting but at the least an employee can step outside and collect the carts and pick up some trash in a timely manner. It would only help business.

This walmart has some frozen groceries. Most of the cashier lines are self check out. Not a large walmart.

I always believed if youre going to work around people then you should be a people person and not be so miserable and ignorant towards other people. The one Spanish lady at self checkout was very rude and thats not the first time that happened. Luckily the storm manager saw it, so maybe something will change. Theres no reason to be rude to people for no reason.

Went to this Walmart to buy a laptop. After waiting for 20 minutes I was told that they were in stock but that the only person who had a key to the cage where they were kept (the electronics department manager) was off that day. 4 days later before driving 45 minutes to the store I called to see if someone was there to unlock the cage. After 3 phone calls to get through to the electronics department I was put on hold 3 times by at least 2 different people asking who I was holding for and they apparently had no clue who had the key or who to ask before I was eventually asked to leave my name and number and that theyd pass the message along I doubt that I will ever get a call back. Clueless!

If you get there early the cash only cashier situation isnt that bad, but get there later and you will regret it.

The store was very busy. Many of the items on my list were out of stock or no longer being sold there. They also rearranged the store and although numbering the isles is a fantastic idea, they should put them at both ends.

I love Walmart. What other store has a variety as plentiful as Walmarts? I usually give them 5 stars but I subtracted one for the rudeness of the employees at this particular one. I usually am tolerant of the crassness of an employee but 8n this instance it wasnt just one employee but the majority of them. At least the ones I had the unfortunate experience of communicating with. I hope it was just an extra stressful day and not the common attitude the stores staff treats others but its still no excuse.

This locations customer service department closes at 5pm! Unbelievable.... I went to return a PC monitor and was informed by security (who was very unperfessional) that the department closes at 5. It was 5:20 pm.. I went to another store 25 minutes away and returned the monitor with no problem.. I will not shop at this location ever again...

Awful store and customer service. Bought an item from this store only to get it home and open the package and find it missing. Customer service refused to replace or exchange. Instead told me to go to another Walmart and try deceive them.. this is the second time I had to eat a large cost from that location.buyers beware.customer service at this location need to be better trained . I plan to report this store to the Better business bureau. Their actions are unacceptable and should not go unaddressed. Thanks..

Its convenient and they have a good majority of what we are looking for and need. The staff are helpful, pleasant and well informed on whats in stock. I have not had an unpleasant experience while shopping there. I recommend it to anyone and everyone.
