I ordered my sons Bar Mitzvah cake from them and it was amazing. Denise sat with me to then plan the cake and then executed it exactly as she had described it would be. The cake looked perfect and my guests couldnt believe how good it tasted.We gave out cake-jars to our guests as party favors--they were a big hit and I would encourage anyone to copy that idea.Overall, I could not have had a better experience.
We went in there last minute to get cupcakes to congratulate a friend on their acceptance to a college. The girls in there were extremely helpful! They put together a box of cupcakes within minutes and decorated them so beautifully with the school logo! Cupcakes were delicious and fresh. The service was outstanding! Awesome place.
We were recommended to Caked Up Cafe by our wedding venue Views at Mt Fuji after having a bad experience with a prior vendor. I can say that we are so thankful that we decided to make the switch and that everything was perfect! We worked with Denise and from the very beginning we could tell that everything was going to be great. The cake looked amazing and was so delicious. We would definitely recommend them for any wedding and we just want to say thank you!
I adore everything about this cafe. The ambience, the cupcakes, the layout. I feel like whoever opened this spot really took the time to think about each and every detail that made this place outstanding. It’s just so aesthetically pleasing. But don’t forget the interesting and out of the ordinary flavors of the cupcakes!! Chicken and waffle cupcakes!??! Lemon raspberry??!? My mind is still blown. I love this place.
I rated this place 1 star! I called them call for a custom cake for my moms birthday, I asked them to have butter cream frosting on the cake with pineapple filling inside they asked me to pay first which I did, when we had the cake there was no butter cream frosting, there so more frosting than cake, they also had icing as frosting the fruits around the cake were falling off when it was in the fridge! I called them multiple times and nobody picks up. I do not recommend anybody getting a custom cake from here plz don’t waste your money. Their service is not good at all. I wasted my money here!
It was too sweet and it wasnt my taste. I like delicate, high-quality cake with less sweetness like European or Asian style cakes but this is not like that. Today wasnt a good day for me. I felt like having a good cake and looked for a good bakery nearby so we drove extra miles. The girl misheard my husbands order and gave even extra cake and of course, she charged for it. Its overpriced for what it is and I dont know what to do with it. Im sure a lot of people like their cakes and this is just my opinion.

If you live anywhere within driving distance to New City, New York and love cupcakes, this is the place to be! Went for the first time today and omg, the varieties of cupcakes to choose from are amazing and so delicious. They also have macaroons, half pound cookies, pound cake and make custom cakes along other things. Definitely check it out!
I came in to get cupcakes for a family birthday and a recent passing of a family member who’s life we were celebrating and instead of a cake, we chose some of the outrageously and incredibly delicious cupcakes.We chose many different ones and everyone chose a cupcake starting in birthday order. After everyone chose (many had great difficulty making a choice), we lit candles and sang happy birthday followed by comments including “oh my god, these are amazing, how do we get these on long island, and on and on.The cupcakes are not inexpensive, likely comparable with other places in price but way above in quality and taste. Fortunately I won’t be visiting Caked Up frequently because I could eat everyone and we know how that would go.Fortunately though and seriously, the cupcakes were awesome, everyone loved the presentation and they were delicious so we will definitely recommend Caked Up to anyone asking for or in need of an over the top dessert recommendation!!!!Marc & Dina

While the cupcakes are so cute to look at, the taste really isn’t that great. The few that we tried were dry and had a sort of fake bakery taste to them (grocery store bakery quality). I was surprised to see so many positive reviews raving about the taste because it wasn’t anything spectacular.
Amazing how they made the exact cake I imagined just by going back and forth through email and calls. It was also delicious! Highly recommend, their cupcakes are also amazing!
Everything’s pretty good. If you like light desserts def don’t go here. All their frosting is really sweet. Which I like but I could understand why some people don’t like it.
My first purchase was their confetti coffee cake. It was delicious! So we went back and tried the cupcakes and cinnamon buns. Their cupcakes were the best cupcakes I have ever tasted. It wasnt about the sweetness but a truly delicious flavor, moist, and fresh. Their quality is second to none. Cake up is our go to bakery from now on !

Great cakes and customer service. Denise is such a nice person and is really passionate about what she does. You can tell just from her cakes! She made a bridal shower cake for me and it was so delicious, so many rave reviews from my guests. I went into her shop for the first time at almost closing time and she was so accommodating with my cake ordering. Also one of the best rainbow cookies I have ever had!
I cant say enough about Caked Up Cafe. Their cakes and cupcakes are beautiful and delicious. Their detail and imagination is AMAZING! Their customer service is a big part of what makes it such a pleasure to go there. I have ordered several specialized cakes and cupcakes. I was literally in panic mode trying to find a cake all over Yonkers but then I realized my third home New City birthed an establishment located on 40 S Main St, New City, NY 10956...it was just a few minutes before closing and I quickly called Caked Up and I was hoping they would pick up...as I heard the endless ring I quickly was greeted by a sweet voice. She answered i replied with my request. I was seeking a birthday cake for my now 25 year old cousin whom my family had; surprise birthday party for. I literally FLEW(not speeding) to new city and I was greeted with the doors opening. I found my cake and with an additional cupcakes on the side. What I’m trying to say is that Caked Up is the most original perfect, superb, clean, delicious, AUTHENTIC, amazing, beautiful, endless amount of positivity. I believe her name was Francesca. I thank the owners of Caked Up hiring her and remaining in New City... this place deserves more than five stars. DO YOU WANT A REAL PERFECT CUSTOMER SERVICE?!! The best experience ever? One of my favorite bakeries of all time. Their baked goods are both beautiful and delicious. We use them for all of our bakery needs - birthdays, engagement parties, random cupcake runs - theyre the best. The service is incredible and the staff is always gracious and smiling. Highly recommend! Also, try the piñata cakes - theyre the coolest!

I was going to give it 5 stars but the cashiers were trying to rush us to pick what we wanted. So I they need to improve on that. It was our first time there, we were excited, there were many options and we didn’t know what we wanted. On the other hand Kevin the manger was very nice though and the cupcakes were really really good!
These are literally THE BEST cupcakes out there! Ive tried many of the other famous cupcake spots, from New York to D.C... And these are the most moist, tasty, and creative cupcakes with delicious, creamy frosting flavors to match each unique ensemble. There is just the right balance between cupcake and frosting... so you can enjoy your treat without feeling sick afterward! In fact, you might want to have another!

I had Cake Up prepared two types of cakes in a jar, mason jar that is . Vanilla Carmel and Cookie Dough. I got for a birthday party and high school graduation party. They were a big hit. I had gotten 30 Vanilla Carmel and 50 cookie dough. I ordered them 1 month in advance (they’re so busy, you have too). Well worth the money ! Thank you.
Caked Up is very Allergy Friendly, they use separate prep area and clean equipment to make allergy free cakes.They have been able to make me multiple custom cakes using a non-dairy margarine to make delicious butter cream frosting. All their cakes are great, but the chocolate peanut butter cake they made me might be the best cake Ive ever had. Definitely recommend!
I called very late this past week (Wednesday) to order a cake I needed for Sunday...for a Bridal Shower. Although Denise informed me she was pretty booked for a lot of cakes but asked me to check out photos of Naked Cakes online and see if that would work. I thought they were unique and beautiful and told her I would love one of those. Denise and her staff made me the best cake ever for my future daughter in law. Not only was it gorgeous to look at with fresh real roses adorning it - it was absolutely delicious with butter cream filling between each lawyer filled with strawberries and blueberries. Denise and her staff go above and beyond and I will make sure I use them for every and all upcoming events. I recommend them highly and cant thank them enough for making this shower so special for a very special lady. THANK YOU.

They are beautifully-constructed, and thus could easily function as an alternative to a standard birthday cake. Unlike so many clever cupcake flavors, these do not disappoint. The chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake, for example, is better than any chocolate chip cookie Ive ever eaten!The fundamental quality of a cupcake, in my humble opinion, lies not just in the overall flavor but also the texture of the cake and frosting and of the proportion of cake to frosting. These cupcakes have a moist, fluffy crumb - not too delicate, yet not quite as dense as a standard cake. The buttercream is buttery and creamy with a hint of sugar crystals. There is, perhaps, more frosting than cake (the cupcakes are all, I believe, filled), but its difficult for me to judge, as I generally like more cake than frosting, unlike most people. In summation, Caked Up obviously cares about the quality of their products, and not just how pretty they look.As the daughter of a former baker, I have always been picky about the baked goods I eat. I am delighted to have discovered Caked Up and only wish I had done so earlier!
I celebrate just about everything with these cupcakes, but today was my first cake order. OMG!!!! My mom loved it so much she refused to let us cut it! It was a sewing themed cake. She played with it! She actually threaded the needle with the thread lol. Amazing place!!!!

Writing reviews are a way a business can see ways to make a situation better for a customer. you would think Kevin ( the owner and manager) would have done this... instead.. he called me 2 hours before i was suppose to pick up my cake to tell me he cant do my cake because of the review i wrote previously. First off the review was my experience it was the truth and it was something i feel anyone who looks this place up should know; you as a business owner kevin should know it is in your power to make a review change instead of ruining a birthday and hanging up the phone?nonetheless i was able to make last minute changes and go else where if you are in the area visit carousel cakes. Susan is sweet and willing to help, make last minute changes and make last minute orders. They also dont lie about how much their cake feeds! (they also make personal 6inch cakes that are suitable for about 5 people )
The manager Kevin is not considerate at all. I called them two days before my order was scheduled for pick up to ask if the cake stand I ordered would fit the cake i ordered, only to find out that the cake was only 6 inches!!!!! how the heck am I supposed to feed 15-20 ppl with a small cake? As a first time buyer I would think that the business will take into consideration my concern and be a bit more accommodating being that the cake wasn’t even made yet. his response was that “it was too much work”. I understand that there are policies but I was not canceling my order simply making a minor change to make the cake 2inches bigger. (which again wasn’t even made yet). If someone is investing in your business the worst thing you could do is not please your clients. Whatever happened to the customer is always right?

Worst customer service!!!!! my close friend called in to get a cake baked for a birthday and they lied and told her a 6 inches cake would feed 10-15 people. I heard about this and had to write a review to warn anyone that is even considering to order from this place. I over heard the lousy excuse Kevin was giving to my friend about making changes and also how sure he was the cake would feed up to 15 people. Unprofessional, immature, and PETTY!! why would you wait 2 hours before my friend was suppose to pick up a cake to cancel her order? definitely will NOT EVER TRY THIS PLACE because of this experience. This is most likely the cutest bakery with the biggest variety and best tasting cupcakes and the friendliest staff in Rockland! Theyve moved to a bigger location and its suuuper cute! Also, they offer happy hour cupcakes!!
Always top notch and they always have new products. On top of that, they have a friendly staff. Went there once on a Sunday without knowing they close early, but the staff was nice of enough to offer to let me come in. There are many reasons why celebs and members of the media have featured them; their desserts are delicious and are presented well.
I ordered a 6in cake and 120 mini cupcakes for my sisters 40th birthday prty. They did an absolutely beautiful job. They accommodated the gluten allergy and everything was delicious. They made it so easy from the tasting to the delivery. I definately recommend using them or just going in to get yourself a treat. We will be using them again in the future. Thank you Caked Up Cafe.

Why?Because these are the best cupcakes anyone will ever enjoy! Because theyre the best, wed like to keep the location here in the City. That means we should all do our best to support it! Lets convert the pop-up to a permanent location!The consistency of these incredible creations is perfect. Not dry, not messy or wet...just perfect. The sweetness is dialed in and spot-on. The textures create a blend of flavors that is literally sublime!Cmon, Jay, its a cupcake. You describe it like its a work of art or something...These incredible, brilliantly created, masterfully finished miracles ARE more like works of art than cupcakes! Very disapointed. Disgusting cake !!! I spent 92$ on a unicorn cake and cup cakes they were very dry and tasteless and the frosting was wayyy too sweet. The cake was covered in a fondant that was hard and too sugary the candy gum for decorations was not edible and they spelled my daughters name wrong TWICE. I wrote to them on instagram and i was BLOCKED! Dont go to this place in new city. I really want to protest outside their store thats how upset i was.
