I really like the real wood aspect of the frame. It looks very genuine and astonishing. This would definitely look good on the wall and would definitely make a nice gift as well. They were extremely thoughtful and offered excellent guidance and advice on the right wood floater frame. There are not many framing places on Manhattan that do such a quality job at a great price. This is my no-brainer option at the time of getting stretchers made either for massive canvases or small projects, their Legacy line stretchers are built like a tank but really easy to assemble, The corner joints and measurements are incredibly accurate. The staff is knowledgable and always helpful. The location is very convenient, but when I can’t pick them up myself they’re ready to deliver fast and reliably. Superb quality for a fair price.Thanks a lot!

I have a 100-year old painting of my grandmother thats painted on paper that is mounted on canvas. Without going into the details, its a mess, beyond any kind of affordable restoration, but it is very close to my heart. I brought it to Frames and Stretchers to see if they could do something to slow down its deterioration. After making sure he understood what I wanted, Erick came up with a plan to protect the painting from further damage without actually trying to restore it. A few weeks later, my grandmothers picture is back on my wall, looking more beautiful and cared for than she has for many decades. The delicate color of the frame brings out colors in the painting I never knew were there and the museum glass minimizes the barrier of reflection between the picture and me. Many thanks to Erick and the folks at Frames and Stretchers for caring about my disaster of a painting and giving my grandmothers image back to me.

Came to this shop for the first time last week in need of some Stretchers for a commission piece. After doing research on the local frame shops in my city, I decided to check out Frames & Stretchers in Brooklyn. They had amazing positive reviews & after seeing their work on their Instagram page, I felt confident with having them handle my work. Upon my arrival i was treated with respect and undivided attention and I was blown away by how clean and organized the shop was. I stressed to them how I needed the strecher done as soon as possible and they assured me they would have it to me asap. I left feeling confident and when i came back to pick it up i was estatic! Extremely sturdy, top-notch quality & perfectly squared. Couldnt be happier at all! 10/10
