This is a delightful store with lovely items of all sorts—jewelry, scarves, toys, holiday items, cards, soaps and lotions. . . Everything your heart desires. I can always find the perfect gift and things that I can’t resist. If you are in New Haven or in Madison you must stop in.

Strolled into this place while looking for something to do during my jury duty lunch. Eclectic collection of things with a nice little selection of jewelry. Lady behind the counter was very sweet and steered me towards some earrings for my girlfriend.

Ive been a customer of Walker Loden for approximately 5+ years now and Im always pleased with the merchandise i.e., jewelry including the marcasite jewelry, antiques and the array of artsy items especially the Parisian items which are a fav.; what Im NOT pleased with however is the lack of professional and customer service - theres an older gentleman with glasses who is no gentleman and is ALWAYS rude, when inquiring about an item, the return policy, asking for gift wrapping, etc. hes always snippy, unpleasant and grumpy...Attributes that are NOT feasible in a retail setting. Today, (12/24/19 - Christmas Eve) for instance I walked in to get a few last minute Christmas gifts and immediately was presented with a negative aura which disappointed my overall shopping experience - not even a welcoming greet when walking in and/or a hello, maybe even a Happy Holidays but, NO NOTHING?! I spent over a $100+ today even with the disservice and I must say I am not pleased with the disregard and unprofessional rudeness. I purchased a collectable snowglobe $60+ and an expensive pair of 18k Gold Crystal earrings and all-in-all the entire experience was much to be desired....The worker didnt know where the packaging was for the snowglobe, when asking if he could call the other store for help and/or any sort of direction that would aide in finding the packaging he caught an attitude and stated that he doesnt work at the store often every time Ive shopped at this store hes present, when asking for gift wrapping he looked at me as if I said something foreign and refused to wrap except to give me a flimsy cheap cardboard box for gold jewelry. I asked for a bag with the logo of the store so that the person Im presenting the gift to would know the name of the store for future references and that too was an issue!? This is unacceptable and ridiculous at anytime, but especially around the Holidays. The only time he was agreeable was when he was taking my money - bad customer service!!!!! 👎👎👎Im only offering 3 stars to represent the merchandise....I do hope the owner reaches out because Im not pleased at all especially after spending so much money!!
