Horrible owners especially the old woman. She raises her voice and gives off glares to the customers. I was at the location and she yelled at the poor cashier. She seemed new and was aggressive towards her. Pushes her away and yells and doesn’t explain what she was doing wrong. The cashier cried and from that point working there seems unbearable. We should not support a business where they are treating new workers with bad manners and aggressive. Don’t recommend ever.

I would come here on a regular basis as it was close to work. I do enjoy the food and still do, even after finding hairs in my muffin. I was at first a bit displeased with the fact that I had been handed the muffin that I did ask for. My displeasure grew to pure dread towards the establishment when I found myself flossing with the hair of another man (or woman I don’t know). The hair is light colored, about 2.5 inches in length, crimped in places, and was stuck in my teeth. I thank the nice people who work here for looking out for my dental hygiene. May the health inspectors have mercy on you.

Went for my first time last week. Customer service was great. Food was delicious. Plenty of options. Would definitely recommend and will be back again!

Good Nature Market is okay, but the new management changed the entirety of this shop/café, definitely enjoyed this site more when it was known as Gourmet Heaven....The quality of service was by far more personable, the food was much more appetizing, the floral arrangements/bouquets and fruit options were ample to choose from, the general items and selection were good as well...Gourmet Heaven was pricey as well, but the experience at least for me was enjoyable. - Good Nature Market isnt horrible, just not a favorite if Im being completely honest; everything is overpriced, the options throughout the store are limited and the service isnt all that as well, nice location on Broadway though!

Has a great in-store eating area, both on the main level and upstairs. I normally go upstairs because is less chaotic. You can buy prepared food by the pound to eat-in at their diner or take-out. Given the small space, they have an excellent variety of greens and meat cut. The staff were very approachable and knowledgeable on what is In season and what is the best deal.

Terrible service and food...why open to the public when the training is not there at all... being 24 hours is the only good thing, i will not spend my money at either location going forward. Its not worth it!...oh btw, please contact your pest management.

Great spot for a little bit of everything! Whatever youre craving they most likely have it. I come here regularly for lunch when Im at work. From comfort food to healthy eating they have it all!

So there are two GNMs, this one is on Broadway (other on Whitney). Its a grocery shop with large variety and has take away fresh food counters @8.75 per lb. Student discount only on select days (thats not fair)...but more interestingly the manager didnt know on what days! Looks like random sampling with zero as high probability :)

Yea the new owners are not as friendly as the last owners but the food is still great there and the prices are the same and they have so many things to choose from for breakfast and dinner you can definitely rack up a bill here but trust it is worth the trip.for breakfast I only get egg and cheese but dinner I could be there all day...good good. Five stars for good food and not raising the prices and being local..

I really like their food selection, accommodates all types of consumers, dairy free, gluten free, meet free, vegan, etc. They have unique foods and food youve never seen before. Only 4 stars because theyre so damn expensive. Open 24 hours which is awesome for me!

Lots of choices of prepared food: hot bar and sandwiches and soups made to order. Nice eating area near the windows. Clean. Good range of packaged products on the shelf. Happy to find baked goods from Bread and Chocolate, including on one visit a multigrain cranberry nut loaf that no-one else seems to carry. Prices are a little on the high side, but they are in line with other businesses in the area.

I work very close to the Good Nature Market and find the prices for normal grocery items to be 3 to 5 times more expensive than normal market prices. I spent many years working in NYC and patronized very similar establishments. Good Nature Market has consistently delivered bad customer service for me. Ive even experienced being sick after eating from their hot bar. I will not eat there or buy from them in the future.

I frequent this place for lunch. They have a good variety of foods on the per lb. buffet and the sandwich station. Their array of salads are the things dreams are made of. Its a bit pricey but worth every penny.

Absolutely terrible people at the front. This asian woman was so rude and would not let me use the restroom even though we had purchased food before. I then had to take out my used dishes as proof to show her and she then still proceeded to accuse me of using someone elses leftover plate. The store owners are SO RUDE! My husband and I walked in for some breakfast to-go around 830am on a Saturday. The place was nearly empty. The store owner was behind the deli counter preparing food. Being that it was our first time in the store, we were taking our time with the menu and asking some clarifying questions. My husband ordered something, but they did not have pork so he had to pick something else. He asked a few more questions about the menu and For whatever reason this set the owner off and he went on to call my husband STUPID and his order stupid! You cannot treat your customers like this.I was so terribly turned off by this experience and I will never be returning.

Apparently when you take back your credit card, you must be extremely careful on not touching the cashiers hand. She yelled at me for mistakenly touching part of her finger as I grabbed my credit card back. Also she judged that I grabbed too much noodle soup? Im not sure how thats even possible since its a container given by them and thats not even the issue, I am paying for the soup its not as if I ran out of there stealing so in conclusion just terrible customer service.

The staff is really nice and I regularly talk to them. A bit expensive but also one of the few easy accessible market places that has organic foods. The buffet is good and will usually be fully stocked until around midnight.

Very great sandwiches although the hospitality was very poor I wasnt sure if our presence was unwanted. my son and I sat in the back to eat our food near the huge window and this one worker kept commin back there checkin us out even began sweeping near our feet. and taking garbage out so close to out table that it was very evident he wanted us to leave.

The people that run this place are extremely rude (the store on Broadway) I have gone a couple of times and have decided to stop going. They are constantly rude (the ladies at the cashier) and always are giving attitudes! We are the people giving you business the least you could do is have some respect! Do not recommend!!👎🏼

Great food always fresh they have a buffet that they sell by the pound they also have a deli a little bit pricey but worth it. I make a plate by the pound and it usually comes out to $12 they have salads as cold foods and they also have hot foods rice Teriyaki fish fried rice white rice they also offer plantains which I like a lot

As a common courtesy for the people who do not eat meat I asked the deli cook if you can clean the grow before you put my veggies on top of bacon grease in beef the spatula was dirty after making Philly cheesesteaks omelettes and gobblers he continue to use the same gloves to grab my hand full of fresh veggies I didnt want a salad as it was late in the morning and I needed something hot to eat so I figured if I ask them to clean up a bit it could pass yet he wear the dirty gloves tell me the grills was clean although there was still 5 pieces of bacon on the grill while he cook the veggies when two more customers came in he told them he could not cook their food they have to wait for my food to be done because I dont eat meat yet theres Meat right next to my veggies as hes cooking on the Grill. Hmm not kosher. With a language Barrier between us at 2 am it wasnt worth any more conversation but for the ones who can relate it was worth a Review.

No price tags so you dont know youre paying triple what you should be paying until you get to the register. And you have to ask for receipts. Not worth shopping here at all. So unreasonably overpriced, you just throw money away. Plus Ive found expired products multiple times, and the produce and lunch meat always look bad. They have a good selection of drinks and snacks and its a convenient location, but it feels worse throwing away so much money just because its convenient than just shopping elsewhere.

I really like the Tuscan sandwich here. This market is an important fixture on Broadway for picking up essential items that youd have to go much further away to get otherwise, but you pay a premium on everything for that reason.

Buffet table has a good variety of healthy assortments. Just have to get there early. The longer the food sits out they dont regulate the temperature/water for the steam table so the food does not dry out.

There are no price tags on anything. Prices are definitely more expensive here than anywhere else. Maybe thats why they have no price tags on anything. It is convenient and they do have a variety of stuff though.

Rude owners, all prices double than should be even in a pricey ct grocery. Good luck with your way of doing business- if you have money and want convinient location you must pay. Just go to another place!

He answered, I know! And continued what he was doing.I asked the cashier to talk to the manager and she told me the guy who ignored the line was the rude manager.I will not shop at this store again!

I am a teacher and national honor society advisor for a local New Haven high school. We put on a fundraiser and Hispanic Heritage event, donating proceeds to Hurricane Maria victims. My students made a last minute purchase here and bought too many things. When I came to return the unopened packages of tortillas, the manager refused to return the goods. The receipt cited no return policy to support his claim. Despite my persistence, they refused to refund the money my high school students spent here. I will NOT be giving this place any more of my busines

We were at Yale for a swim meet and we’re staying at a hotel nearby. The Asian woman at the cash register was extremely rude. She yelled at my son and I for using the restroom. She yelled that the rest room was for customers only!!! I was there to purchase a razor since. I’m not sure what her issues are.

Selling premium items at a premium price, but do not accept American Express. Strange. Your mark-up on items is well above average to make up for the ridiculous AE merchant transaction fees. I wont bust balls too much. Maybe you have a greedy landlord that is eating up all your profits, and you cant afford to take AE? Maybe New Haven taxes are too high, and your landlord is forced to jack up your rent?Besides for the no AE card policy, I like this place. Open 24/7, and can always get a fresh sandwich if needed. Many hard to find snack items you would normally only find in boutique shops.
