Great place to get really get furniture for your home. The prices are truly great and I found the staff to be really nice people. On a warm day they offered us cold water to cool off with. Gave us the time to look around without being bother before we had made our choice. They were ready to answer any questions we had. Its my new spot!

Great Experience! Asked where the dishwashers were. Abby pointed me towards them, gave us about 5 minutes to be left to our own devices, then asked if we needed anything.

I ordered a queen size bed APRIL 8. ITS NOW JULY 19 NO ONE CALL TO GIVE UPDATE ABOUT MY BED. I WAS CALLING EVERY MONTH AND GET THE SAME ANSWER IT WILL BE IN BOUT A WEEK. NEVER HAPPENED SO I WENT IN TODAY TO GET MY MONEY BACK AND STILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR THAT. I WILL NO LONGER DEAL WITH THEN.

Its a dented furniture and open boxed item store. Ive visited this place several times over the years. I can probably say in a dozen times, Ive purchased a couple of items with the last being a...dishwasher.The prices are comparable to big store items. Ive purchased from similar stores and big box stores. No one excels over the others. The prices here are not better but if you need something in a couple of days, this place is solid. Sometimes you have to wait 2-4 weeks for an appliance so the biggest advantage is availability -- although not quantity. 4-star for availability.Note: standard 1 year manufacture warranty applies on appliances -- good stuff.

Excellent display and variety of furniture and the customer service is amazing. The employees are friendly and always willing to help. Kia has assisted me twice, and her patience and attitude makes every visit a great one.

Even though some items from my order was on back order I would say the prices was reasonable my sale person Kia was so sweet and nice and if you guys ever need nice funiture you guys should go there and as for Kia!!!!!

I have had only good experiences here. I came first to look around. I have a few specific items I want to purchase for my home. They had some of what I wanted. When I came back, I was able to purchase one of the items. I will definitely be back to get the other items. Delivery was too easy. Sales staff were great. Very laid back. Abby was the gal I worked with and she was wonderful.

Pretty good little store, but I ordered a stainless steel dishwasher and when I took it out of the box it was a black dishwasher and there was water inside of the appliance. It was obviously a returned item. I found that in order to return the item it would cost me $75 and it would take 3-5 business days after I brought it back before I could pick up a paper check. Just wasn’t a great experience.

Watched 90 day fiancé and saw probably the worst sales woman of my life 😂 fire her please.

I walked into the store, no one acknowledged me. I was shopping for a bedroom set and a mattress set. There appeared to be a full staff, I even sat on every mattress set, checking for firmness; again, nobody spoke or asked if I needed help. I was the only customer in the store, I left and called customer service to let them know, business walked right out the door. I was disappointed, so I went to Compass and purchased all I needed. Its good to be kind and friendly, maybe you should have a class on greeting customers.

Over the past 5 years, I have made several fabulous purchases at Comeaux. The quality of furniture is exceptional and the prices are fantastic. My salesman, Ronald Jackson, is awesome and I truly value his opinion. I love to wander through the store and make lists of things that I like or want to purchase. Ronald understands that so he lets me wander but periodically checks on me to see if I need assistance or additional information on items that I like. Over the years, he knows my taste and points out items that I may be interested in. I believe that he is exceptional and very professional. He has made every trip to Comeaux a wonderful one.

Bought a table and chairs here from the showroom and was not told that it would come entirely disassembled. Once I found time to put it together it was clear there were clear manufacturers defects with both the table and chairs. I called to find a solution and I was told I can bring it back in (meaning taking it apart again), drive it back to the warehouse, and then leave it there so they can get to fix it. Then I can pick it up again and deliver it back to where it is currently. IF they can fix it, this is going to take hours of my time, and if they can’t fix it I appear to be SOL.Total lack of customer service. They should send a tech out to fix it or pick it up and replace it.This isn’t a handheld device, and they effectively sold me trash. They should stand behind the products they sell, not waste hours and hours of their customers time who have to deal with the consequences of substandard products.Really really disappointed.

Liars and scam artist. They will take your money

Decent furniture at a good price, but installation can be a problem. I bought two beds at two different times, and both times the delivery men put the furniture together wrong. The manager sent a new crew to fix the mistake, but buyer beware!

The people here are very attentive. They make sure to answer all your questions whenever you need to. They dont hound you while you shop. The furniture is very affordable and comfortable. You get what you pay for and what you get isnt bad.

The setup is a little strange (hint: take the elevator up to the second floor for clearance items) and it isnt the easiest place to find, but the prices are as low as Ive ever seen anywhere. If you want high quality, maybe this isnt your place. But, if you want a fantastic deal, youll find it here.

Went there 3/2016 for the first time by referral. The sales person was very nice & professional, however I was only there in search of a bedroom set and a living room set. I looked around liked a normal person, and seen something I liked. I was quoted a priced, but was unsure about what I was gonna do with the furniture I still had at home. I said Ill be back on Friday to pay out in full if I want everything, but was advised to put down 25%. I was told that would hold the living room set because it was the last one in stock. I paid 25% which was over $500, and two days later to my surprise my check was cashed and used as a down payment. Now where do they do that at???? I NEVER closed any deals, nor did I pay the remaining $1600.00 balance. How could a company do such a thing??? Nothing was set in stone, nor was cashing my check disclosed. I called and was told my 25% is down payment. Say what? I am going to get my check back, and Ill NEVER SHOP AT COMEAUX AGAIN!!!!!

Great opportunity to purchase appliances for rental. Paid 445.00 for a new 20cu ft refrigerator that had a small dent in the door.

Buyer beware. They will tell you one thing and then do something else. Sold me a faulty product and refused to take it back 12 hours later.

I have made several purchases, recliner, refrigerator,dinette set, and then I purchased a livingroom set, looked great in the store and felt great but not for long....cushions on the set wore down very fast and though I insured the set the frame was intact and was told to replace the cushions myself. I paid about $1200.00 for this set only to have to replace it after 1 year. Truly disappointed in purchase and services that cost extra but was no help.

We bought a house in Mandeville in late 2016 and needed some new furniture and appliances. My wifes family has been going to Comeauxs for many many many years in Metairie. So, we bought our refrigerator, couch, large breakfast table/chairs, dining room tables, and washer/dryer in cash. As you can assess, the invoice was not cheap. About 3 months after purchase, the ice maker stopped working on the fridge. The Frigidaire warranty covered repairs for the three subsequent visits to replace the ice-maker for the first year. However, the last time they came it was $157 for parts and labor. Now, just two months later Im having to spend $157 again to replace the ice-maker after it started leaking large amounts of water down the front door of the freezer via the water/ice dispenser. At this rate, Ill have re-purchased this $2k refrigerator again in no time with repair costs. I called today to see if they could help with this problem and was told by the guy in appliances that I was on my own with Frigidaire. I asked if they would stand behind the products they sold and put some weight behind their business to help me with my complaint against Frigidaire. His nonchalant attitude proved to me he cared less that I was a customer needing assistance. I gave two stars instead of ZERO because the furniture has held together, their sales team is very kind, and the delivery was smooth. My frustration is in the lack of standing behind a product you sell when a customer has clearly received a lemon, especially when that customer has spent quite a bit of money at your store. Comeauxs will never receive my business again and I will tell everyone I know to stay away.

Bought a sofa and love seat from this company and the sofa broke one week later called to have it repaired and got really lousy response from customer service and the president of the company .I wont be buy from there anymore.
