Paul was extremely helpful. I actually walked in not long before closing, and he stayed to help me out. I appreciate it so much because I have a sleep disorder and desperately need a new mattress to help with that. I described to him my preferences and he knew exactly what to show me. The mattress I picked out was one out of two I liked best and the price was reasonable. He also showed me a pillow I liked and purchased. He is a very good listener, friendly, and he helped me with a smile the whole time, and I know I was being very choosy, so I would say he is an all around pleasant person. My teenager texted me while I was shopping, and I was even able to ask Paul for his opinion on parenting haha! Some people just have a way of making others comfortable. The mattress will be delivered in just a few days and the one I have will be recycled. Im very much looking forward to the delivery of my new mattress.

I went into the Mattress Direct store on Carrollton Avenue in New Orleans, LA.. First of all the store is very clean and had a New Orleans feel to it. Garrett was my salesman and he could not have been more professional and knowledgeable. I had a 5 star experience. The only reason I chose to visit mattress direct, was because it was a local company, with Kermit Ruffins singing the Jingle. Big Mistake! I am writing because I received a broken box spring from Matress Direct on January 15, 2021. After I took the plastic off of the box spring, I noticed it was broken in 2 spots. This was 30 mins after it was delivered. I called the delivery driver back, and he just so happen to be at the carrolton store with the salesmen who sold it to me. I told him it was broken, and he gave me his word that he would send me another. It never happened! His Name was Gary Trahan. He had a million excuse for the delays. From warehouse issues, to he needed surgery... All I wanted was an exchange, or my $75 refunded.I decided to visit the store in person to address the matter. That is where I met Regional Sales Manager Myra Speed. She was very dismissive, and treated me like trash. She said, you signed it when they delivered it, so thats that. I then explained the whole story and how I signed that I received it. And that I did not rip open the plastic and inspect it until I was ready to lay it down. She then told me, its not her fault I didnt noticed it was broken before I signed the paper with the delivery driver.Do not do business here, these people lie, cheat, and steal to make a buck! Not to mention my brand new mattress got a dip in it after a week!

Didnt have item advertised online and there was another gentleman complaining about being charged yet they didnt have an answer about when would the product arrive~

I went in just to get 2 sets of mattresses and ended uo getting sime of the best customer service I have ever gotten in my life. I told Gary what I needed and he was persistent at finding it. I was expecting to pay so much more but Gary gave me some of the best prices for some great mattresses. Thank you Gary so much now I can have a piece of mind. We will be back!!!!!!

Purchased a mattress from this store. Was told I had up to a year to return. It is so uncomfortable. Have tried for 2 nights. Called today and was told we have to break the mattress in ( a mattress we can barely sleep on) for 45 days then we could “see”. Totally misleading. Wanted to go local. I am furious. Just want an exchange for a different mattress. This is crazy

Not very happy with the mattress, called 5 months after purchase to complain about my brand new mattress collapsing on one side, (I weigh 167) asked about replacing and or return never was helped, I feel that my new mattress was a refurbished model and I paid full price, buyer beware here. Hope this gets your attention.

WARNING: Avoid buying from Wayne Johnson, the store owner/ manager. He seems courteous and professional until he makes the sale. Then if there are problems-- I ordered 2 futon covers, gave him the benefit of the doubt after the first botched order---he is not only unhelpful but downright rude. I have never had such poor customer service in all my life. When I called him to complain he actually hung up on me.
