Just to start Sheela is amazing. I was having a really long day and the last thing I was in the mood for was looking for shoes as I just don’t like shopping in general. Ive been to Orleans Shoe Co. several times now and love bringing friends there now too. The service is better than good, the folks there are genuinely personable, and theyre insanely helpful. All of which makes it much easier more enjoyable when paying a little more for specialty shoes.

Today I went into the Orleans Shoe Co. location in Mid-City and had such a lovely experience! Trent helped me to quickly locate the brand and type of shoe that I was in search for, and he immediately brought out a few pairs that fit me perfectly upon first try. We bought a pair of Dansko Wynn Smooth shoes for work after trying different styles. The staff was very helpful and gave great advice. This is a fantastic, locally owned business. They take really good care of their customers and the selection is top notch. I had a problem recently with a pair of Dansko clogs that I bought there, and they replaced them with new shoes, no problem. You dont get that kind of service at zappos.

My Mother is in her late 70s and is having issues with her knees as well as swelling of the ankles, due to not wearing the proper supportive shoes, Orleans Shoe Co was fabulous! They not only took her foot print and properly sized her but they also went above and beyond to educate her in selecting the proper shoe to assist her in improving her foot health. Bought a pair of Jambu’s that I love for the comfort but specifically asked if they were slip proof, sales girl said yes and Jambu’s website states they are also. They are not at all. The customer service is HORRIBLE. idk what was up with the lady working here but she was very rude. I asked her about a shoe in my size which seemed like a simple request. Not only was she oddly silent when she came back but barely spoke to me and set them down and ran to the back before I could ask anymore questions. It is 2020 and I will not tolerate blatant racism and will not patronize your establishment if you are.

As a result I went into the Carrollton store the next day. They had the brand I wanted and the clerk was most patient with me so we ended up with a perfect fit In the brand I was looking for. I have multiple foot problems, bunions etc, and in my two visits to their Good Feet Store at 539 Bienville St. I found several cute pairs that I can wear all day without pain. Its thrilling to find trendy shoes that fit without looking orthopedic. Haleigh the store manager is super friendly and knowledgable and will spend time with you to find the best shoes for your feet. Not a discount store, the prices reflect the high quality of the shoes, but your feet will be very happy!

I walked in 20-30 minutes before closing, knowing what I wanted: Birkenstocks with a back strap. Only thing left was to try them on. The salesperson was cold and terse. I understand wanting to leave at the end of the day, but I dont set your hours. This is the kind of behavior that drives people like me to buy everything online just to avoid interacting with rude people. Im sorry I spent $136 at your store.Your store is hard to find from the street and consumers have options. Good luck.
