Just a great local place - the kind of shop that used to be easy to find and now is rare. The Al’s are big Al and his son Al. There’s a flock of helpers, but Al Sr is clearly the big daddy of the team. He’s competent, honest, and friendly; just exudes, I’ve got you covered.Al fixed my punctured tire fast, for $25, and we got back on the road. As I write this we’ve covered 800 miles since then, and it’s working fine.Highly recommended.

I stopped by, without an appointment, just to see if they could take me in and they told me to pull right in. I thought I might need a new tire because I had a slow leak for the last several months, but they took it off and immediately identified a nail in the tire. About 10 minutes later the tire was patched and I was on my way. These guys are super nice, fast and very reasonably priced. Also, the cashier lady is a sweetheart.

I recently had a blowout right before Christmas. With tight finances, I knew I wouldnt be able to get a new tire, but also its just smarter to get a used tire when youre only replacing one. I went to Al & Al early in the morning just a couple days before the holiday without an appointment. Not only were they able to replace my tire at an excellent price (best price Ive paid for used tire replacement). The guys there are very professional, polite, efficient, and quick. In addition to replacing my tire, they also checked three tire pressure of my other tires and adjusted them as needed.

They worked with me very well. Answered all my questions and were open to any suggestions I had. Fair prices and nice people.

Helped me fixing a flat that was rejected by Costco and Bridgestone. They were fast and helpful. We still need these shops and we should keep them running when the cooperation betray us to make more money.

Poor communication! Stated that tires I need would be delivered same day and would call once they came in while they held my drivers license. Never received a call and had to go back the next day to pick up drivers license and they stated they couldn’t get the tires. Pretty wild experience.

I got a used tire in very good condition for $42 even!!! The very nice man that initially welcomed me quoted $42 for a used tire for my car...I didnt ask any questions about taxes or fees bc I had to get the tire regardless. That price ended up including everything - all the service & disposal fees & taxes! I would definitely recommend this place 😺

I had two low tires in my rental car, so I went to Al and Als to see what could be done late on a Saturday afternoon.The first tire had a leak from a nail puncture. They showed it to me and said it could be fixed with a plug or a patch. A plug is cheaper (and I know why; see second paragraph below). After they plugged it, they found another leak near the plug, so they had to patch it instead, but only charged me for the patch, not the plug.The other tire had a slow leak; they checked it out and found an old plug that was not holding air, and patched that one as well.Im happy with the quick friendly service that I got. I hope I dont have to see them again, but if I do have another tire problem in New Orleans, Ill head over to Al and Als One Stop Tire Shop as my first stop.Bring cash; they dont take credit cards or checks.

I had a tire that needed to be patched and all the other tire shops were quoting me 4-5 hours which I just couldn’t feasibly do with my son.I called Al and Als at 12:09pm on a Saturday and at 12:50 I was back home with my tire fixed. They were amazingly fast and super nice.

I support Black owned businesses! I went in looking to replace one tire and they asked if I wanted to buy a new set so I agreed. The tires were visible but the employees did not share specs or recommendations so I didnt ask. After a quick online search, I realized that the price per tire was comparable to buying a new one from a major retailer with tax and installation; so I was fine with the price. The installation was fast because the employees were focused. I enjoyed my transaction and I recommend this merchant. HI⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had a completely rotted tire where the walls around the entire tire caved in. I went to Al and Al and within 10 minutes I was in my car back on the road. Even rotated my tires for free. Al is super sweet. He could tell I was stressed out and was talking to me about my new job and helped me calm down. It was only $37 total and because these men work so hard I gave them a very nice well earned tip. They work all day long in the hot sun and still have an amazing attitude! The tire is amazing. I will continue to go back there for any of my tire needs. I love this place! Thank you Al. You’re the best ❤️

Couldn’t have asked for better service. I pulled up to Al and Al with a huge nail in my tire on my brand new car and was upset that I would probably have to buy a brand new tire. Thankfully, with one quick look I was told it could be fixed. The service was fast, friendly, and HONEST. I didn’t even have to get out of my car :)

Been here several times. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. Prices were always fair.I had a hole in my tire but fix-a-flat hid the hole and made it hard to locate for the patch job I needed. Al and Al’s cleaned out the inside of the tire, reattached it and found the hole immediately.Firestone wouldn’t even look at the tire when I brought it to them.Al and Al’s gave me excellent service. 5 stars.

They make this tire changing & repair thing look effortless.Tire off, tire on... one, two, three, youre out. Most times, if your tire is beyond repair, theyll have a used one to fit; however, if you have a hard to fit or uncommon sized tire this may not be the case.Last time I was there, you can also get your car washed here as well.Be careful, to be noted, this place is on a BUSY THOROUGHFARE & car are zipping & zooming to & fro.Not the best parking setup, but its manageable. Pricing is fair. Customer Service is GREAT!!!

I had a slow leak & stopped at Firestone looking for a quick repair. After 2 hours they told me the couldnt figure out why I had a leak, that my tires were old & slew of other items & presented me with a $1,800 quote. I drove a few blocks away to Al & Als where they resealed my tire in under 15 minutes & for less than $20. I love these folks!

Have called multiple times over the past few months inquiring about having my car interior shampooed. The answer I receive every single time is that they are still waiting to get their machine fixed. I had read good reviews of the detail work they do but I definitely wont be calling again. Dont offer services you cant provide.

Absolutely great place. Mom and Pop shop vibe but the fastest, best value for what you get place in town for both tires and car washes/details. Ive had a old tire patched, a new tire ordered and replaced, and a car wash. All three times no attitude and its done right.

I spoke with Al (the son) at about 10 he ordered me a set of new tires and I told him I’d be there by noon. Well when I was On my way I noticed a knocking sound, my tire had came off the rim. I called to let him know I was coming but would be late because I needed to call my insurance company to get it towed to him. He asked me “baby where you at” I told him. In 20 minutes he pulled up, proceeded to take the bad tire off put my spare on. Now that is what I call EXCELLENT customer service!!! The price is right and the service was a delight!!!

This place is the best. I drove up and was taken care of in minutes. I had a nail in my front tire that the dealer the day before told me it would cost me $450.00 dollars to fix. It cost me $25.00 and they checked all my tires. They were so nice. I am so impressed.

Rolled in on spare...hole in side wall of tire. Got great deal on a used tire with plenty of tread. Took care of me quickly, and was in/out in under 20 minutes.

Went here to get a tire fixed. They showed me a nail that they removed and went on to fix the tire. They work very quickly and I was out of there in 5 minutes... That should have been my first clue!!! The VERY NEXT DAY, the tire was almost flat again with a tire pressure of 16!!! Save your money and go elsewhere!

Not a huge data set, but between myself and my girlfriend we have gone here twice, both times for flat tires that just needed a quick repair. Al & Als appears to be the best in town at this game; they are fast, easy, and inexpensive, qualities that are getting harder to find for auto shops. If you are worried because some mechanics take advantage of non-car-savy people and overcharge/over-repair, based on my two encounters with Al & Als Id say they are very trustworthy. Give them a try

My experience with Als was very good up until today. I wish they would have been willing to accept the possibility that a mistake was made by an employee causing me to be in dangerous situation and at least attempt to make it right. They were not even willing to work with me on that. I have the receipt for 4 tires with an amount that shows 4 tires. No one else has driven my car, I have only had an oil change as far as service - the tread blew off of my (what i thought was a 7 month old) tire on the highway at 75 mph. Seems that when they changed out 4 tires one of the old tires they removed wound up getting re installed (this was the one that blew) - my bad for not checking their work before leaving the shop in Sept. They have lost me as a customer for not even accepting that this was something that could have happened - this was the second set of tires purchased from them. So I just recommend that you check the work before you leave...and get a DETAILED receipt!
