Fried chicken is great, but you have to make the workers love you. Id anything to make them love me with that good of chicken

At 2am on a Saturday night there is a line out the door like you’re trying to fry into a club! Hahah! Everyone wants late night fried chicken. It was ok.

I visited off the recommendation of a friend who raved about the Brothers Fried Chicken.Delicious fried chicken, crispy French Fries. No complaints.I will say I wasnt expecting it to be inside of a convenience store, so definitely not a dine-in location.

I really enjoyed there fried chicken.

False advertising/fraud. The prices on the menu do not match what you are charged for. Breast was shown to be $1.99. However, I was charged $2.39. Told the cashier and was given the typical just doing my job schtick. Had purchased fried chicken before from them and noticed I was overcharged as well.

Chicken is dry and nasty. The charge more than thr menu states.

Great flavor, chkn is so good and fries are good aswell, staff as like the cashier dude. He’s a bit rude.

5 stars for the fried chicken. Best fried chicken I ever have. My friends and I stop by this store almost everyday during our long vacation in NOLA for these testy chicken. It doesn’t matter what time of the day you come, the chicken still tasty fresh and crisp and moist.

Wow. Don’t plan on getting in and out quick! Great Cajun seasoning on the fries. The batter on the chicken is very good and unique.

Stopped in for some snacks. When we walked in the cashier was on her phone discussing guy problems. When we came to the counter to pay, she never stopped her private conversation or acknowledged us other than to ring our purchase up. No total given, just kept talking on her phone. When we paid, I had to apologize to her for interrupting her conversation to dare to shop in her store. She looked like we were horrible people. Seriously, if you need to have that long of a conversation, take a break and let someone else wait on the customers. Horrible customer service.

I was not impressed with this chicken operation and would recommend another location if you are able to go. The taste of the crunchy Chicken wasnt too bad, it was just everyday gas station okay.I was staying in a nearby hotel when I exited the front doors and saw this store across the way. I decided to go get a few pieces of chicken. Upon walking into this corner store, I found there was chicken under the lights. This store is a fully stocked small market. I two pieces of fish with fries and two pieces of dark meat chicken. The worker promptly told me that he had no thighs pieces but he had leg pieces in my box. So, he then tells me I could get a mixed piece box and get a breast piece and the drumstick piece and then charged me much more for their business failure to prepare the chicken pieces. The chicken and the fish was luke warm kinda cold, but the fries were hot and seemed freshly prepared.

The worst service in all downtown. They were giving me old fries and because I complain about it they told me you can go and buy food in another place. Very disrespectful and discriminative. Ill never go back to that place. The cashier should treat customer with care and good attention. So disappointed.

Better than KFC or Popeyes, and certainly spicier than popeyesz and very affordable. These brothers know great fried chicken!

This is a convenience store with some fine dining rolled in. I ate some very delicious fried chicken with cajun seasoned fat fries. Everything was reasonably priced for the Quarter.#travelformortals

Went in for a Vuse device that normally costs $0.99. Said they were out but suddenly found one and the price magically changed to $9.99. Tourism hustling at its best/worst. Place and its business practices are trash. Zero stars aren’t possible, unfortunately.

Man, this is a LEGIT fried chicken in the city of seriously great fried chicken. They fry the chicken several times a day - especially about 1 hr prior to lunch and dinner. The batter is INSANELY crunchy, really nice spices with a kick toward the end of your throat. Best yet, hear this - a mix of 8 pieces sets you back a cool $ 9.99! Isnt this great or what?

Yes the best fried chicken. We even got it for breakfast, no lie. It was better than our hotel breakfast in many ways. Its been always fresh and crunchy! It was a great expected find for a snack.

The chicken here is crazy delicious. I live a few blocks away and it makes it so convenient that I can pick up dinner, a bottle of wine, and some basic staples for home all in once place.

Was in New Orleans for 24 hours before heading back to Australia. A drunken night ended in a chicken from this place. Delicious and juicy. Forever etched in my memory.

Cigars are overly expensive you wont find chicken livers or gizzard! Other then that regular store.

I was not disappointed. They had great, juicy, hot fried chicken even at 9:30am! Theres a bit of kick in the batter, which is great, but if youre sensitive to spicy foods, be forewarned. My only regret is that I didnt get more :)

For a grab n go spot, this is one of the best tasting fried chicken I’ve ever had. Their Cajun seasoned fries are so on point! 5 stars for me. Definitely recommend.

Saw Brothers by my hotel and stopped by at midnight. Fried chicken was excellent with lots of crunch. Surprisingly good from a convenience store.

Stopped by this quaint establishment in the wee hours of the early morning following bourbon street debauchery. Good lord. So amazing. Im not a father but if I were Im pretty sure eating these tenders can be compared to looking into my first born childs eyes. Wish you were in Michigan.

Chicken was delicious, moist and tasty with excellent seasoning. Cajun rice was a little mushy but great flavor as it seems most order the fries which looked fresh and crispy. Cheapest quality eats in New Orleans.

Yes the chicken is undoubtedly good, but as with most foreign own/ran businesses, they have no sense of traditional american ”customer service”[the customer is always right].

Went to grab some lunch. Watching my dollars shelf price is $1.69 and $1.99. He scanned $2.09 I explained the discrepancy; he explained he scans and that’s the price. I make a move, take my pictures of receipt and shelf I receive a .10 cent refund. “False Advertisement”

Tasty fried chicken, but ordering was a nightmare. I told the guy at the counter that I wanted a 4-piece mixed with fries. He instead got me four chicken strips. I repeatedly tried to tell him I wanted fried chicken pieces, but he mumbled unintelligibly and acted rude while continuing to pack up the box. He then asked if I wanted anything else and I finally got him to make my order correctly. When I paid, they tried to get me to pay for both orders, but I convinced the cashier that I didnt want the first box. I was with a group and they all decided to eat elsewhere after that. The chicken itself was great, similar to Popeyes but better, but I dont know if its worth the trouble.So, 5 stars for the chicken, one star for the experience. Good food, but I will probably not be returning.

Best chicken Ive ever had. Fries are so tasty with the seasoning. nacadish meat pies were so awsoawe, you have to try it. Every thing was fresh because this place is always busy. It was the best food I had in new Orleans, which really says something about how great this place is.

Allow me to be very clear, I have never had the pleasure of visiting a brothers food mart, as a matter of fact I actually live in Idaho. The fried chicken that this fine establishment provides to society is literally so good that it seemingly transcends tastes. Just knowing that it exists does my taste buds enough justice.

Stumbled in here after Bourbon Street. Really great chicken and kabobs. Right next to our hotel. We hit them up for chicken 3-4 times during our stay. You can buy liquor, beer, cigarettes and amazing fried chicken 24 hours a day.

It was awesome! Had Willie Maes and Guys.While walking back to our hotel, saw 2 dudes having a box of chicken outside Brothers food market, they said it was great, and they were locals. They were absolutely right!

Nasty nasty nasty. I’m from nasty New Orleans but they are down right nasty, from the attitude to the food service. Cashiers eating while serving food... & being honest about not getting a break. I’m a business owner, my employees are fed, healthy, and friendly... I’ll cook & feed myself before i deal with nasty kitchens & attitudes.

Amazing chicken! We ate here 5 times in 1 week and still didnt get enough. Compared to the other local options, your dollar goes a lot further and the food is still great, fresh or leftover.

Ive been to New Orleans 3 times and each time I ate here and was never disappointed. They have the best chicken and steak fries around.

Great service, everything you need, and awesome chicken! The staff even kept everything together during a rush where the line was snaking around inside the store.

Chicken is good and the employees are cool. No seating in the store though but hey that didnt stop us from eating. I will be back the next time i am in New Orleans.

There I was...New Orleans...3AM and drunk...there was Brothers on the corner, right down the street from the St. Charles Hotel where I was staying. The place is a GODSEND.....the best fried yardbird I ever had with those slightly spicy thick cut fries...saved my night and I rallied for more carousing.

I dont mix politics and fried fish/chicken sooo... here goes. I dont know anyone who comes here for 5 star customer service. I come for the finger licking chicken and fish. Ive never been to a 24-hour place where they welcome you like a Walmart greeter (which arent always all that friendly). Besides the food, I remember they were one of the first to come back and be there when people were trying to bring back New Orleans after Katrina. If you want good ole boys service, which Ive had and regretted, Brothers isnt for you. If you want some good food at any hour of the day, go to Brothers.

Every time we cruise out of NOLA we take a walk down Bourbon St and stop here and get some chicken to take back to the hotel with us. (And a couple of meat pies too) This is some of the best chicken anywhere!!

I regards to Brothers Store #102I was a big fan of Brothers but after last night experience I will never be returning to any of their locations. I purchased snacks from the store just like I did the previous day at the same location. After my purchase I stepped outside to make a call in front of my car while I ate some of my snacks.The guy who seems to be the owner stepped outside and asked was I staying. I responded no, I had been outside about 5 mins and planned on leaving shortly. About 3 minutes later he returned very upset yelling that he would call the cops.My first thought was maybe he didn’t think the car I was in front of was mines. Im a 27 yr dreadlock black male with a Mercedes that night. I showed him my keys and said I was leaving shortly. He rushed inside and grabbed the phone.At this point I didnt want anything to escalate further. I was disgusted by that treatment; my family were solely going to brothers for gas and food for years. Never again. I will follow up with their corporate and the BBB.

I’ve been calling for kebabs they never have them. yesterday I called again and nothing, Day before yesterday I called and a young lady told me the meat was frozen three hours later I’ll call again and the meat frozen. It’s sad when you can’t get something you like I hope something gets done about this soon.I am talking about the brother food mart on gause Blvd. in Slidell

This is ok for the chicken of you want dark meat only. Whats worse is I called ahead to see if they had breast meat available, was told yes only to arrive and find out they did not have breast meat. This happened two days in a row, so seems like a pattern....
