Just made my weekly stop at NOLA Snowballs in Lakeview on my way home from the City Park Golf Course and ordered my usual Large Chocolate. This is third time in row where the snowball was over 50% plain ice. I know there is a method to apply the syrup, especially for a thick chocolate snowball. Apparently, the workers have not yet been trained on the methods, or they really dont care. I think I will plan my future routes from the golf course to home via Plum Street.

The snowballs have the softest ice and the workers are always very accomidating and pleasent! I recommend the flan cream flavor.

Best sugar free chocolate snowball ever

This is the first negative review Ive had to write about a sno-ball stand. I bought 3 sno-balls ordering a medium sugar free chocolate for myself. I paid $14. I took one bite from the sno-ball and the flavor tasted sour and my sno-ball was white on the inside at top so the syrup didnt entirely sink in but it tasted terrible regardless. I handed my sno-ball back immediately and told the person at the window that it tasted bad. He said, sure Ill take that back for you. I waited for two other people to be served and asked, can I have my money back? He said no. I asked Can I just have a regular chocolate? He made the regular chocolate and said thatll be $2.50. I said that the previous sno-ball tasted sour and he said that its not their responsibility to give me another one if I didnt like the flavor and that they charge by cup. I said, keep it then.There is no signage saying that youre stuck like chuck if you dont like what a flavor tastes like. I would not return a sno-ball if it didnt truly taste bad. I only took one bite.POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NEVER GOING BACK. I have a ton of better places to go to with better customer relations rules than this place and better product. Enjoy the money you needed to keep so badly to be greedy and not be respectful of a customer that genuinely thought your product tasted bad that has over 10 years experience in the service industry.
