I ordered 3 custom items from hellbent. 2 matching sets of earrings one red, and one purple, and then a wallet to match the purple set. They were for a dear friends graduation present. I was absolutely thrilled with the quality of the work. I will absolutely be ordering more gifts from Hellbent. They were delightful to work with.

Hellbent are amazing. Not only are they super attentive, quick to respond, and meet all my customization requests, they also donate items for fundraisers and help promote good causes. As someone who does a lot of work in social justice in New Orleans and New York, I think their attention to their customers and their ethical care for their communities is inspiring. Beautiful leather work. 10/10

Best studio cat; Ostensibly.

Super cute leatherworking company! Small group of craftsfolk making all kinds of festival wear, masks, accessories, bondage gear... A definite mardi gras staple! Theyre highly skilled and professional (while still being super chill), if you want a particular size/color, theyll definitely work with you. Since they make everything by hand, they can also do custom work. It seems like most of their sales happen online, but if youre a local theyll let you come by and try stuff on and pick stuff up. The studio isnt open to the public, but its easy to make an appointment. They also do pop ups around town at different markets, so if you happen to stumble upon them definitely give their art a look! I have several bags, belts, wallets and theyll outlast me on this earth, theyre so well made hahah. oh, and did i mention they have VEGAN LEATHER too?
