Took forever to get to register. Only one person working and she kept being on her phone. Also i made a pickup order and had to get all my things myself. What is the point of doing pick up if i have to find all my boxes in the store myself?
Beware of using this location. Brandon Pierre, the manager here, is incredibly unprofessional condescending and incredibly disrespectful. He said in a store full of people that he left my items sitting in front of the store (3 uboxes I paid thousands of dollars) to ship because I did not call. That is a blatant lie. I have called UHAUL over 75 times in the two weeks my items were there. THIS LOCATION REFUSES TO ANSWER THE PHONE. I was stunned to see they actually answered the phone calls while in store. Brandon lied to me and yelled at me and shouted at me on the phone when I made a complaint about them not scheduling my uboxes to be available. I moved out of my last UBOX 11/3 and wake up to more charges on my card on 11/5. THIS LOCATION is awful. I will NEVER use uhaul again
Wish I could give negative stars. Two experiences with U-Haul in the past month were both absolutely horrible. First, the van just wasnt there. They changed the time and location without telling me! It messed up my project for the entire day and hurt my small business. Second time, I checked on the reservation ahead of time. Again, they switched locations without telling me. Good thing I checked! I was transferred more times than I can count. Then, I spoke to a local person in the traffic department who was COMPLETLY RUDE!!!! She was the opposite of helpful and lied to me. When I picked the van up they required an emergency contact to answer their phone at 7am on a Saturday morning with no warning. I see no proof that this is standard procedure and believe it was done just to make my experience difficult. I will never rent from U-Haul again and headquarters needs to look into this location and fire somebody. That was an a horrible experience.
Best Uhaul location 💕💕💕 we needed a trailer hitch that we thought would require more work on our wiring. They were able to get us in the next day, started working on it earlier than expected, and finished with it earlier than we thought. We also had scheduled our trailer from a different uhaul location (due to the availability listed on the uhaul website) and Ms. Ruth was able to transfer the reservation over to this location, checked us out, and saved us so much time and hassle. Not to mention, everyone at the desk was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.The only issue is that the AC isn’t able to cool the inside, and the fact that everyone is able to have such a great attitude despite those conditions is amazing. Whatever y’all get paid, it is not enough, and I really hope the AC gets fixed and you can continue giving that amazing customer service.Thanks U-Haul on Tulane Ave!
Kind, knowledgeable staff, helped me with an online pickup which wasn’t even at their location, sent me a video link to show me how to pickup truck at different location after hours.
TLDR:U-Haul rented us a faulty trailer. It lead to not one tire blow out, but three over the course of two consecutive days!Expect roadside assistance to take minimal an hour (even if you are five minutes from a U-Haul location).U-Hauls response to the situation has been subpar.We rented a truck and trailer from the U-Haul on Tulane for our move out of state.Day two of driving, we were 20-30 minutes outside of El Paso TX, our stop for the night, when one of the trailer tires blew out. Luckily, U-Haul provides roadside assistance (they provide the dispatch service to reach out to various third party services). An hour and a half later someone arrived. He informed us he drove 98 miles to get to us because apparently there was absolutely no one available in El Paso (20 miles away).We advised that the adjacent tire was low, but he couldnt inflate it because his truck was not equipped with a compressor. He worked quickly and changed the tire. Instead of arriving at our hotel at 8pm, we arrived at 11pm.Day three of driving and the tire that was replaced the previous day had blown out again. We pulled over to inspect the damage. The tire was a smoking wreck, in that moment the adjacent tire blew out leaving us with two flats. While waiting for road side assistance, we were on the phone with U-Haul customer service discussing the situation. We did not feel safe to continue with that particular trailer, and customer service said we needed to wait until someone came out to inspect it before they could offer us any alternative options. We were ready to offload our car and drive the truck and car separately because that was the only way we would make it to our destination before dark. When roadside assistance finally arrived (an hour later)he inspected the trailer and began to replace the first tire.Issues discovered:1. Tire wire wrapped around the axel (left from the previous tire change)2. Brake pads were worn down to nothing for the wheel that had the two blow outs.3. The hydraulic fluid in the hitch was leaking.Issues 2 &3 indicate the trailer was poorly inspected before renting.He determined that the trailer was not safe to tow. The roadside service company offered to handle the return of the trailer to a Tucson location. I would like to note U-Haul never actually offered alternative options (i.e. a replacement trailer). We planned for 3 hours of day light to unload, we had 30 minutes.Dealing with U-Haul:The U-Haul at our final destination submitted a customer action report for us. He let us know we would hear from U-Haul New Orleans asap. Three days later we missed a call from the U-Haul Nola GM. His voicemail referenced our report and said We attempted to make things right. We were unsure what that meant until we received a no-reply email with a refund of $300 but no explanation or reference to the purpose of the refund. This was followed by a second no-reply email with a refund of $170 same lack of information. We called the GM and asked him to explain the reasoning behind this particular approach. He explained that he tried to issue a refund but due to their current policy we was unable to fully refund us. Now lets be realistic, I doubt they have a policy for three blown tires, worn to nothing brake pads, and leaking hydraulic fluid. We asked that U-Haul review our case individually and not just toss it in with a general policy. He said he would look into it and call us back. We received a third no-reply email with a refund of $147, but did not receive a call back. Note: our bank statement does not show any refunds. There has been a lack of proper communication from U-Haul up to this point, we have had to initiate the discussion every step of the way.Presently we are again waiting for the Nola U-Haul GM to return with an appropriate resolution. It has now been 10 days of dealing with this situation which mostly involves us calling and waiting on hold for a lengthy period of time to be told they would call us back with a resolution. Still waiting…
This place is terrible. The first time we rented a truck to move furniture, they didn’t have the truck we reserved, no one cared and they were terribly rude. The second time (shame on me), we gave them another chance. We walked in at 10:30am for our reservation. The woman was rude and doing her coloring pages. She said their computers are down and just write your name down and we will call you when they come back up. It’s now 4:15 (the furniture store closes at 5) and we haven’t heard a word. Not even the courtesy of a phone call. They won’t answer the phone. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!
The customer service is horrible. There were four employees at the desk and just two parties in the building waiting, and they still never got to us. I had to be pushy and ask an employee (who was doing NOTHING, by the way, and did not offer to help us) for help. It turns out that they will let you wait in line 10-20+ minutes before being all-too-happy to inform you that they actually have no trucks available - which isn’t obvious, because they have trucks sitting out in the parking lot, not in use. I asked the woman at the counter if she could at least tell me whether any other locations had available trucks. She refused.If there are currently no trucks available, they should tell you that as soon as you walk in. Why else would I come here?

We rented UBoxes to do our move, we were told by Uhaul that they will deliver them at our address when the boxes arrived to the shipment place. FALSE!!!!!, I called to make arrangements for the drop off and they said that because of work load I needed to pick up and tow my boxes. This is BS!!!, we had to pay 1 more hour of moving help plus rent a damn truck to tow the boxes. Need to talk with a MAnager. Extremely poor expirience!!!
The Tulane Uhaul location has terrible customer service.This location needs to be shut down. They have an infestation of roaches and the whole facility is unsanitary.The manager and staff have done nothing despite the numerous complaints that have been brought to their attention.DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!!!!

Hands down the worst experience I have ever had with any company. Units delayed for 10 days. Scheduled delivery and failed to deliver as scheduled twice. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible customer service. I tried to engage with the employee when I checked the vehicle back in, and they ignored me because they were closed and cant open the door. Okay, then why was that same employee outside talking to another person as I left? Then charged me an extra $62 for not following the protocol THAT I WAS TRYING TO INQUIRE ABOUT WHEN I WAS IGNORED. This is not the first time I was intentionally overcharged, and it would have been completely possible to reimburse me, but they just didnt want to. Be forewarned-they will fleece you for every dollar they can every time. Its worth going to any other location, even if it is a little further away. Absolutely horrible service. Horrible.

The whole place was an unorganized mess. It took over an hour to pick up a truck that I reserved in advance, and they didn’t even have the size truck I had selected so I was charged extra for getting a bigger one.The store opened late, the woman at the counter was patronizing and overall unpleasant, the only saving grace was the crew outside dealing with the trucks. They were handling a ton of customers calmly and as quickly as possible, thank you to Jeremy who did the truck inspection at the end of the day!I’m glad it’s all over, but I definitely wouldn’t send anyone I actually like to rent a truck here.
Did the online 24/7 pickup. I should have been able to walk up to my rental and drive off. Buuuut of course thats NOT how it works here. I did the online checkin, got the vehicle number, left the line, and went to get my rental van only to be told I have to pick up my keys at the counter. Really long line, people ar the counter are stopping to also answering calls.

Word of advice: sign up for truck share so you can do everything online from your phone and avoid the line, sarcasm, disrespect, cynicism, lack of customer service etc.. Worst location EVER! Customer service is lacking from leadership (Brandon) on down to reps (Ruth and Brandy—especially Brandy). My experience on Tulane ultimately led to a refusal of service for me. Which wasn’t too bad because, I was given awesome accommodations after I called customer service to file a claim and the corporate office. Corporate offices need to hear how customers are treated. After standing in line for over an hour and a half, I get to the counter and nothing in explained outside of “its policy”. The best thing about the location is the LOCATION because it’s convenient.
They asked for $100 deposit on my rental but I have not been returned the money over my rental fee

I got a hitch installed here and rented a trailer. 20 min on the road the hitch starts coming off my car and making the trailer jerk all over the place. I returned to location, it takes a manager 2 hrs to come fix my car. Worst experience. I refuse to use their services again.

If I could rate this location a 0, I would. This is specifically geared towards the general manager, Brandon. I have been waiting for more than a week to hear back from the GM (original email) in regards to addressing a situation that could have clearly been avoided in the first place. My partner and I recently had to rent a U-haul for a move and unfortunately, we were given one that had a tear on the inside of it. We were not only delayed for 3 hours, but we could have been in a horrible collision down I-10 given the negligence of this location.Finally today, after already following-up via phone and email, I had to reach out again to U-haul Customer Service in order to get a hold of this GM, whom apparently was suppose to reach out in 72hrs or less. Finally, he calls me this afternoon and had the audacity to not only hung-up on my face, but inform me that the vehicle that I had rented (that was returned on the same day as my rental) was “inspected properly” by the team who checked tire pressure, refilled the tires that were low and made an executive decision that all was well since they listened to tires to see if any noises (e.g air being let out). I explained to him, and will state here also, there is no way one can check a tire hole like that. In fact, the road side assistant agent had to run water and remove the tire completely to inspect properly. As they should whenever a vehicle is returned. Once again, I had to reach out to Customer Service at U-haul to have this issue escalated to the regional manager and have to wait another 72hrs. If they have an individual like that as a manager, clearly they need to reevaluate their entire team. Never use this location or maybe U-haul for that matter, since they clearly don’t care about the safety of their customers.
This is a disgusting excuse for a company. Negligent, apathetic, and unhelpful. Long holds, long waits, we were rented a car that battery died two hours in, and eventually had to get someone to just come jump the vehicle because they never answered the phone for their “””roadside assistance””” program. We would never dream of returning to this absolute dumpster fire of an establishment. I’m still laughing at how bad the entire experience was. Stay far far away.
Upon checking out to get a trailer, I documented and pointed out that one of the tires was in very poor condition. I had a blow out two hours later. Now I’m waiting next to the same sized trailer in the UHaul parking lot for over two hours while a spare arrives because their system will not let me get another until I have turned this one in. If I leave before it’s fixed they have to charge me. This place is broken and needs to fixed to allow for common sense for better customer support. Terrible experience.
I cannot say enough good things about these folks. While I was in line I watched them calmly deal with a rude customer and when it was my turn they were polite and efficient. The hitch installation they did for me was quick and professional. Through no fault of the Uhaul staff my car battery was dead when I came to pick the car up. They charged my battery, offered me a cold water, and made sure I knew to leave the car running for a while to charge the battery. Despite all the customers I saw behaving poorly today when I dropped off my car and picked it up, the Uhaul staff were nothing but courteous and helpful with me.
Upon arrival we parked the truck in the return area no one came .We waited for an available associate for 30 min only to be told we has to go outside .we went outside and the worker was still sitting in the van and he finally got out the van and asked us to bring him the key he never looked in the truck he didn’t give me any paperwork or anything .The location is very unprofessional and not inviting
Renting a truck was an absolute nightmare. Despite reserving a truck a week in advance, we had to wait in a line in the parking lot for 3.5 hours to pick it up. Staff failed to communicate what was causing the wait and to suggest solutions. I had pay the movers I hired to do nothing while I waited in line at uhaul. It was a complete disaster. I cant imagine a worse customer service experience.
After making a reservation and paying online, i had to wait for an hour to get a trailer, only to learn that trailer was defective. after expressing my dissatisfaction the unprofessional manager Brandon Pierre abruptly cancelled my order and retreated to the back of the store like a coward. wont be going back although I am sure Brandon is happy about that

Take a picture of the odometer the second you get into the rental otherwise they will charge you for miles you didnt drive.

Everything went unexpectedly good reason being said is that Ive visit this location before and it was a nightmare. After returning the truck this little Caucasian guy charges me for 2 gallons of gas at a price of $8. I know the gas I put in the tank was correct he insist that it wasnt. Be sure to take pictures of gas gauge and everything else about the truck. If they wanted you to put the correct amount of gas back in the truck they would fill the truck to the full mark. Its a gas scam. And that is so cheesy for a few bucks.
The staff at Tulane U-Haul have always been wonderfully helpful to me, even when they’re swamped—which they frequently are. Try to arrive early. It helps.
I unfortunately received absolutely terrible customer service at this location. Moving is already stressful and the staff here made my move even more stressful. I reserved a truck a week in advance and was told someone would call to confirm a few days before.I was never contacted and instead reached out to them the day before. I was initially told that I would not get my truck, but later, after a rude exchange, was told my truck would be ready for 10AM, when it was originally scheduled for 7AM.The morning of it took 40 minutes to get my truck. The clerk assisting me was answering personal phone calls and then stated she had to leave because her son needed her. Meanwhile the clerk next to her is playing the same games they played with me earlier and told a woman she didnt have a truck either. And I kid you not, this same clerk then began talking to her friend about her hot date later that evening!I was then told I had to inspect my own vehicle, and was not accompanied to the truck. I felt pressured to document every little scratch so as to not be held liable. They didnt even check the vehicle out! Just let me do it alone! It was a one way move and the clerk didnt even tell me where I could drop off the truck! Just gave me an 800 number and said she tried to find the drop location. Absolutely ridiculous!!Overall I STRONGLY advise people to AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!! Go to another location! The staff are lazy, indifferent, and play games with the trucks! They added so much stress to my move! I dont expect clerks to bend over backwards for me, but please dont answer personal calls on your cellphone when I am on a tight moving schedule!
Moving to New Orleans from San Diego, needed a truck for some in-town moving. Reserved a truck online so I could pickup without having to go to the service desk. On location, found my truck to be tucked away in a far corner of the lot, with other uhaul trucks blocking it in. A disgruntled employee walking by told me I needed to go to the service desk to fix my problem. I apologized for bothering him, and apparently for being the one who parked the vehicle in the obstructed manner. The line for the service desk was about 20 customers long, outside, in New Orleans, in late May, so I was having a fantastic time. To make things even more enjoyable, I got to watch an employee smoke while using compressed air to blow out the back of a nearby truck. Too bad louisiana doesnt usually allow punitive damages for most tortious acts, this place would offer numerous ways to turn customers into millionaires.Do yourself a favor and just go up the causeway to rent from the Metairie location.On a plus side, the Tulane location DID have trucks, so thats fun.
Pretty decent using the automated system. Not a lot of hidden fees. The place that was supposed to have all the keys had a bunch of open lock boxes, but the U-Haul was open and they forked over the key when asked. No issues. Also returned U-Haul box here when I moved to Louisiana. Its not particularly nice or in a nice area, but it is sufficient and there are no problems.
The staff went out of their way to help me with my car to trailer wiring. They just charged me for the part and did the instillation at no cost. Really grateful to the employee. Thank you.
The store hours start at 7am. So why are the employees just getting here at 7:05 and slowly “opening the store” they should have been here earlier ready to receive customers if the hours begin at 7, and we reserved a pickup...at 7. Ridiculous
Service was quick and courteous! I had arrived to a different pick-up location only to learn that the previous renter had not returned the vehicle that I needed. The agent at the first location immediately called the Tulane location to help resolve the issue. At the Tulane location, General Manager, Byron was very helpful with getting me what I needed to complete my move. Additionally, his entire team continued with excellent and timely customer care!!! I was very impressed with their service. Thank you all at Uhaul!!!
Truck was fine, and pickup was pretty easy. When returning, the attendant was seriously nickel and diming me. Threatened to charge me $25 for three unfolded blankets??? Then charged me saying gas was at 1/4 when it should have been 5/16? Ever noticed the 1/16 mark on a gas gauge? Me either, it isn’t there. Just seemed like an unnecessary way to squeeze a customer who just spent hundreds of dollars to use a truck for a few hours.
Reserved online and processed relatively quickly. The check-in was easy and straightforward, the cargo van was clean and well-taken care of and the online checkout was thorough and quick. My wife and I were very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend!
Just about one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. They charged for an extra day by accident and then they tried to make me feel bad for clarifying the amount. Don’t be mad at me for not trying to pay an extra $30
Really didnt want to go this far, but I’m embarrassed and extremely upset. We rented a uhaul in the morning (made it to our destination, and the dolly we paid for was not put in the truck. ) called uhual asked for a refund for it or to not be charged to drive all the way back for it..clerk said no... fair enough. We returned for the dolly in our own vehicle and proceeded with our move. We returned the vehicle at 1:00pm and left. I then noticed I was charged $250... I drove back and demanded to speak to a manager and a reasoning for the charge. The manager was extremely rude and accused me and my partner of “running off” to avoid the damage we made.. so he shows of the damage that was there and recorded to be from previous renters... after realizing his mistake he didn’t apologize and went on with a refund. At this point I’m humiliated and upset for no reason.. avoid this location: the manager JAMES is very unprofessional.
James at Uhaul Tulane is very helpful and courteous. Always a nice attitude and smile. Make sure me and my family are served well!
Every time I have to use this U-haul location the workers are extremely lazy, rude, and disgruntled. They act as though the customers are bothering THEM just because they dont want to do their job. Its actually astounding how many times Ive run into rude workers here - it must be a criteria to get the job. A shame. They wont be satisfied until theyre out of a job!

I am here right now and have been for 45 minutes. There is one person working here and there are four other customers in front of us. The one lady working has been absent from the office pulling trucks so we have all been sitting here with literally no sign of an employee for over half an hour. Other people in the store are calling other rental truck places so they can escape this hellish place. Go anywhere else but here or just carry everything on your back. It might be faster.
Josh Bridges---get this man a raise. Guy gets on his back multiple times in the parking lot to help me fix my trailer wiring issue. Checks my fuses, even grabs a testing kit from inside. He spent half an hour on his back under my trailer hitch---all this right before they closed. Good man
Short Story: this Uhaul location is AMAZING! Honestly, the staff was incredible, the truck was great, I love them!Long Story:I was moving out of state and had a truck/car tow reserved through a different company. When I showed up to pick up the truck at the other company I was told they didnt have the tow equipment we needed, despite my reservation that I had made almost two weeks prior. This was a Sunday (when everyone but U-Haul is either closed or closes extremely early), so I had to scramble and find another option at the last minute so that we could drive across the country the next morning as we had scheduled.When we got to this U-Haul, the entire staff was so friendly. Shabre behind the counter helped us weigh out our options and find a solution. Despite the fact they were crazy busy (end of the month and a weekend) they still managed to find us the truck we needed and a car tow. They even held their only available truck for us while we went back to the other company to make sure that we werent going to be charged for their truck and settled things up there.The man working outside that helped us install the car tow did an excellent job of explaining what he was doing as he did it so that my boyfriend had no trouble reinstalling the tow later when it was time to return it.Additionally, the truck itself was very new, clean, and the cab was really comfortable for our long drive (well as comfortable as a moving truck cab can be). I will never try to use a different moving company again, U-Haul definitely made a customer for life after this great experience.
RAT POOP, EVERYWHERE!Emptied my unit 3 days after Id paid for the month but rent isnt prorated. I paid a full month for 3 days, but okay, I guess. Disappointed, but I guess I can deal with it.But no discount or any consideration for my stuff being covered with RAT POOP? No discount for sweeping up all the RAT POOP and dead roaches covering the floor? Srsly, some nasty stuff up there.Brought it all to the attention of the (very, friendly tbh) desk crew but was met with kind of a sad shrug. This is, apparently, not news to them.The staff is very nice though.RAT POOP!
Ive used this U-haul location many times. The key is to book your truck for early pickup. Once 9am rolls around, youll end up waiting for your truck because theyre waiting for customers to return rentals. Everyone at this location is friendly and work as quickly as possible to ensure you get your truck as close to the booking time as possible. The porters that move the trucks and hook up the trailers work hard to make that location run as efficiently as possible. Give these folks a break and realize youre dealing with the biggest U-haul lot in the GNO area. I still love yall and will keep coming back when I move.

Im debating if I should keep finding things to complain about until I get to the front. Not even half way through the line, still waiting.....bout to drop my snap and do a video documentary.......10 more minutes have passed, still made no progress. We decided to download the app and do express checkout. Nothing changed. Someone noticed a key on the floor and returned it to the cashier and she didnt say thank you. 5 minutes went by and another employee came in immediately looking at the ground. I asked him was he looking for keys he said yea so I informed them where they were he didnt say thank you iither. Im aware i spelled it wrong but I wanted you to pronounce it as either not either..... 10 more minutes went by, my friend decided to walk to the cashier and ask if express checkout meant anything to them, his efforts werent effective. Back to the line he goes........ 5 more minutes went by, they finally called for the next person, only 10 more people ahead of me. Im hoping theyre all together. Highly unlikely, but lets keep hope alive........10 more minutes go by, were making progress. Im close enough for the cashiers to see the frustration in my face. Not that it matters. Its obvious the staff doesnt care about their customers.....10 more minutes go by. My phone has lost a sufficient amount of battery power. Im thinking about stealing a row of tape. I cant risk going out like that. I will leave u with this, never come here unless you have time to spare. Ill be using the rest of my battery power to play spades. It’s a true New Orleans experience! Booked a van for 9am pickup on a Sunday morning. 8 people in line and one person behind the desk. Waited in line til 10am to get the vehicle.Just know that you might wait a loooooonnnnnnnggggggg time.
Parking lot is crowded, difficult to navigate and poorly organized. Staff was equally likely to ignore you as they were to be evenly moderately helpful. Customer service left much to be desired. My tow dolly for my car took a solid hour to get put on and my U-Haul experience was the worst part of my move. Even though they are very conveniently located relative to my apartments I would never recommend this place to anyone moving. Frustrations abound and professionalism is in short supply. Look elsewhere
I booked online at another location but the trailer was only available on Tulane Ave. After the trip they charged me for insurance that I did not take out. I have the paperwork showing I did not select insurance coverage but they told me I had to speak to a manager. I called three days in a row always leaving my name and number for a manger to return my call but now 5 days later and no one has returned my call. They billed me for the insurance which I have now disputed with my credit card company. Really sad to think no one could return my call, will never do business with them again. Sad to think UHaul is associated with this establishment.
The uhaul on Tulane gives excellent service and handle all types of situations And it starts with there General Manager Mr.James
I had a hitch installed at this location in October 2013. In September of 2014, my entire rear lighting system failed. My mechanic found that the wiring harness installed by U-Haul for the hitch was neither properly installed nor the right parts. They used cheap Chinese parts that are NOT recommended for anything electrical and it was incorrectly wired into my tail lights wiring. Im lucky that it didnt cause of fire instead of just burning out all the lights, which could have caused an accident because I could not be see at night from the back. Im in the process of trying to get a full refund and reimbursement for the install and the repairs.
I recently rented a van overnight from this facility and must say the service was prompt and courteous. I was pleasantly surprised that my cost was lower than expected when I returned the van because I did not use the expected mileage as was pointed out by the receiving attendant.
I love going into a place and being remembered as a guest. My needs and likes are taken care of before I could ask.
Customer service is non existent. These people do not give a hoot about their job. And Im not just complaining about the fact that I had to go to another location to pick up my reservation, the customer interaction was just so damn bad

Without the help james the manager today, i would have had a really horrible 48 hrs. he went above and beyond to take care of my issue. he did a job well done as i would have for someone else. i couldn’t have thanked him more. it’s a tough job and i understand it well as i have worked in freight and hospitality for years and dealing with someone’s belongings brings an emotional element to the situation but he was even empathetic. moving is traumatic but with someone like james to help — it’s gonna be easier. thank you again.
We stopped by to purchase moving supplies and had to wait FOREVER behind just two other customers with storage and truck rental business despite there being about six people behind the counter at any given time. If we didnt really need the stuff we would have walked out .
Worst customer service I’ve had in New Orleans, and that’s saying a lot. Do not go here. This location is an absolute joke.
Attitude behind the counter is uncalled for. Talking smack with another customer is line who was complaining about the long wait for picking up a rental.
Super helpful! The initial inquiry was forwarded by the call center to the department because it was a specialized hitch installation question. She was polite and helpful.
My girlfriend and I were running late due to a death in the family. Not only was Olivia very friendly, but she helped us get two extra days without any late fees. This Uhaul was a shining moment in an otherwise trying move.

Easy to access and they have a large inventory of trucks and supplies. They also offer after hour rental returns.
Slow useless employees. Try to reserve online if you absolutely have to deal with this business.
Worst experience Ive ever had. Reserved the truck in one location closer to my area and when I arrived and checked in on the app I was told there was no truck available for me then I was made to drive across the city and waiting in an hour long line way past my reservation time 3 hours later I finally get a truck. I was told to bring it back to the same location even though it was way far out of my way to bring it back and I incur additional charges for the mileage. Their customer service is probably the worst Ive ever experienced.
Dont give them credit card or debit card. Go get cash deposit. They will charge or put hold on your card. In my cash my money has been pending for 6 weeks. Then they play the game of i charged you and it final charges. They all are crooks. Get trucks from some other source. Cheap is not cheap. They will get you for more.
Giant mouse problem.... Lots of damage. Dont store your stuff here. Opened the door and killed a roach very first thing. This place is gross. Only saving grace is that the staff is nice and helpful.
Worst Customer experience of my life! To sum it up I had to spend 2 hours picking up my pre set up and reserved equipment. Only to have them mess up my paperwork, communicate poorly with me and other customers, and not fix my paperwork in the computer.... only hand written corrections. They did not have my assigned trailer on their lot and had to scratch out the one on my paperwork.... return was not a good experience either. I will not return to this location until I am positive this is a competent facility. There were helpful people on the lot, but not inside of the building. They are the problem, management could have been handled better by a 17 year old. I could not believe the lack of courtesy and communication, only employee told me to get someone else to help me, threw his hands up in the air and left the building. Seriously unprofessional and the other 20 people in the line were just as disgruntled and appalled at the lack of quality service. I do not think anyone that has been here would repeat business at this location. Seriously I would close this location, besides the horrible experience is is across from the Prison. This location is a complete loss
Horrible customer service. The truck broke down at a gas station four blocks away and they refused to come down and help us even after I explained my dog was suffering from heat exhaustion and the woman at the front desk Keyante said she didnt care. We had to wait for an hour for someone to come and jump the dead battery. When we finally returned the truck and explained at check in what happened the employees laughed. My dog is currently at the vet being treated for heat exhaustion. Worst customer service ever, they dont treat people like human beings.
Just went for boxes. Just got boxes. They had all of the sizes i wanted at a very good price. Earlier in the week i had bought several boxes from walmart trying to save some money. They were several cents cheaper at walmart, bit the quality wasnt as good and i lost 30 minutes of my life waiting in line. I also bought some of their packing tap later on in the week. It was quite a bit cheaper than what i had just picked up at Rite Aid. There was a bit of a wait and parking was a problem, but one of the young men helped me out to my car and helped me get the boxes loaded.
Do not pick up at the location. Takes over an hour to pick up a truck.
Worst customer service ever. Attendants move slow as molasses. No sense of urgency whatsoever. Do yourself a favor and find a Uhaul outside of Orleans Parish. This one must hire straight from the DMV or Office of Vital Records. This is where public servants come to die.

I went here to rent a truck for 29 dollars and they did not have it so I rented a trailer and it costed me over 100 dollars. Felt like I got bad information over the phone and I will never use uhaul again.
Its the most disgusting, gross, rude, ghetto staff U-haul you would ever be. Its tottally worth going to a different location, TRUST ME! It takes ALOT for me to write a comment and they did it! STAY AWAY from the place

I keep trying to read the reviews and the system repeatedly bumps me off. Uhaul apparently doesnt want potential customers reading the negative reviews. What a joke of a company.

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Horrible customer service. Save an hour to pick up and check in the truck.They gave me a check in time of 545 and I returned the truck at 430. Apparently they gave me the wrong return time and charged me for two days instead of one. I will be calling their corporate number.
