I went to get my water valve replaced here and it cost me $400. I then traveled to South Carolina for the summer and on my drive a bunch of different lights started to come on in my car. I ignored them for awhile because when I left, Monroe said they checked everything in the car and it was in good condition. I finally went and got it serviced at a Toyota dealership and my pump was not bled properly. This repair cost me $300. The mechanic who worked on my car asked if I was the one who worked on it last because it was done so poorly. None of the problems would have occurred in my car if it was bled properly by the mechanics at Monroe. I tried to get some of my money back but they said since I got it serviced at Toyota that was not possible. This baffled me since they were the ones who caused the problems in my car. Very disappointed in this shop and their customer service. Definitely DO NOT get your hybrids serviced here, they don’t seem to know how to work on them correctly

I had three types of tire warranty completed during my oil change. A tire rotation, balancing due to a vibration at 70mph and a slow leak repaired due to a screw that punctured the tire. The balancing eliminated the vibration and I no longer have to put air in the tire once a week. I appreciated the follow up as promised at the purchase point of the tires.

We were from out of town on a holiday weekend and they were able to fit us in and have our tire fixed within 15 minutes. Very friendly and quick service. Highly recommend! Thank you very much.

Awesome guys ! Needed a valve steam to fix a tire ! Walmart took four hours only to tell me that, after I took it there first ti get it fixed! I stopped by Tire choice even though they were busy, they took my tire in and fixed valve steam in less than five minutes and didnt charge me ! I highly recommend this shop and guys to fix tires . Stopped in due to my low tire pressure sensor alarm coming on while driving. They took my car in right away, removed the large nail, patched and filled my tire and I was out the door in less than 15 minutes!!! Excellent service. Nice people. Clean waiting area. Took Grandsons truck in for oil change. When came back to pick up, tire was slanted. They gave me a $495 quote to fix with a 3 to 5 day timeline as had to order part. I left it there. Came home, looked the part up on internet, Advanced Auto had the part for $150 less than their quote. I called them, they lowered their price to 290 saying there was an error made by them on the quote. Long story, short version, grandsons father bought the part for $90 (ball joint) and put it on himself in the parking lot, in 15 minutes. I dont mind paying a fair price but I wont be taken. I am writing BBB. Price Gouging at its finest. Never, ever going there again for anything.

The only issue I had was with added services and warranties that were not discussed prior to being added onto my bill. There was also an optional hazard fee that was never discussed. This was also added to my bill. When I questioned about the extra charges saying I never was asked about them, I was told that I had signed off on them so the charges would stay.

I was staying about half an hour away from this shop for a weekend trip and they were the only place around that was open. It was a Saturday afternoon and they were super busy but I could not have been more impressed with their operation. Ashley at the front desk listened to my situation - I was over 120 miles away from home with a donut for a tire - and worked with the technicians to find a solution. The team got my car taken care of within about 30 minutes and in a suitable enough condition to drive home.

Went in for a flat repair on December 26th and walked out a forever customer. They honored and online coupon that I didn’t even know about and rotated my tires complimentary. I expected and offered to pay but they told me it was all taken care of. Amazing service!

Wasted my only day off after dropping car off to get 4 tires not to get done after being there at the shop for 6 hrs. Called at 230 said it will be done by close then get a call at 445 saying they can not get it done. I should have stuck with the 3hr wait at walmart... now have to wait 2 weeks to get the tires done. Damn joke do not go here!

***DO NOT SKIP OVER THIS REVIEW*** I am not just another dissatisfied customer but I do hope to warn people if they ever intend to come here for repairs. Three weeks ago my spouses brakes failed on her while driving and thankfully we managed to get her car to this shop without injury. After giving us an estimate and charging $300, they spent several days working on it. On the day we were to pick the car up they told us it would be ANOTHER $300 dollars and several more days of work. After waiting the second time an employee (Im pretty sure his name was Josh) informed us that the brakes were still bad and that we would have to take it to a dealership. Basically, Monro Auto Service charged us $600 dollars for absolutely nothing. They returned our car to us in the same unsafe condition and when we asked for any kind of refund we were shut down. If you care about not getting literally robbed and the way youre treated as a customer, please NEVER take your car here for repairs.

Driving from NC to MI our car started to shake and hum, the brakes ended up locking up and my tire went flying. Our tow truck took us to the closest place and they helped up so much!! They were very patient and polite. Got our car fixed up within an hour & a half. Great work!! Definitely recommend.

So I was passing through and had a tire issue Im from another state. I googled tire repair and found this company. At 1st I was going to go to Walmart, But I love supporting small local retailers And heres why the attention to detail. They repaired my tire promptly and service was very fast and friendly. I was in a bind, having an issue with my car on the morning that I was supposed to make a 7 hour trip. Monro was able to get me in right away and get me back on the road quickly and in time to still make my planned trip that day. Front desk service was friendly. My one complaint is that they seemed to be a little expensive.

First time coming here. Brand new tires, and ofcourse i run over a piece of metal. After calling walmart they said they didnt have time for me today. Called here and they said if I allready had the tire off to just roll it in and theyd patch it up. Rolled it in, greeted friendly, they took it right away pulled out the metal, patched it and filled it up in under 5 minutes. I asked where i paid he said it was free. I will definitely be coming here for all future car services. Thanks!

I went in for an oil change when I knew I had muffler issues but no clue that it was as bad as it was. Josh and Joe helped a broke college kid so much today giving me some of the best customer service I have ever recieved. They were incredibly helpful and friendly and showed me exactly what needed done to fix my issues and did not even pressure me to do it now as it was still safe. What a great experience! My daughter and I were headed to Amish Country for a fun day of dining and shopping when we had a flat tire. We assumed our day was shot but Josh, the Monro manager, and John, skilled technician, came to our rescue! Walked in yesterday, guy at the counter said no one showed up for work but made me an appointment for today at 11:00. Arrived 20 minutes before the appointment and left after waiting 45 minutes, thats 30 minutes after the appointment. Was nowhere close to getting in. They had one guy with 3 cars on hoists. 2 tires off two of the cars and four off an SUV. If you dont have the staff, dont schedule an appointment. More help maybe???

Deeply disappointed in the quality of customer service! I made an appointment at 11:00 am to have 4 new tires placed on our truck. When I was asked by the manager what the I would be back to pick it up, I told her 3:00 pm, thinking that would allow for plenty of time. However, I was wrong!!! When I arrived, it was nowhere being close to ready. When I asked why the delay, the manager became very, very rude! Finally, at 4:00 pm, the truck was ready, or so I thought. When I started the truck, I received a low tire pressure warning. Long story short, Wal-Mart resolved that issue in no time.

I took my truck Into the dealership and had some work done and was told I needed new tires due to them being out of round. When I took it to Monro, I was welcomed and the manager, Josh, truly has amazing customer service and is a very honest person. He informs me I do not need New tires that would cost over $600, and that the vibrations were from out of balance tires and alignment that was not done correctly at the dealership. They also replaced a CV axle and some wheel bearings under industry average prices. I will definitely be coming back for any repairs and/or maintenance on my truck!

Ive been dealing with the New Philadelphia center for the past few years after becoming disgruntled with my previous mechanic. I never feel pressured to do more work or spend more money than necessary. Outstanding, professional staff and manager. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to work on their vehicles.

I like that the appointment can be made online and the store hours are pretty excellent. I dont like that there are NO TIRES available for my vehicle on the website and no information on what the DRIVE CARD is and is it free? The $9.99 for an oil change is excellent, without the DRIVE CARD its $19.99, not a great offer. NOTE: Be sure to save money and use coupons available before your servicing here.

Ive have taking my vehicles to Monroe for the last 30 years and have always been satisfied. As far as price. It goes hand and hand with quality work and parts. Once I had my cooling system worked on . The next morning it was leaking. Mark fixed it free of charge. And it was quite time consuming for him. He treated me like a true professional. As a matter of fact my son has been taking his car to them now. If you can satisfy him youve done something. Thank Monroe.

The lady at the front desk was courteous and kind. Very friendly. Although she took a personal call on her cell phone while the place was super busy and then proceeded to tell me my car was ready and then made another personal call on her cell phone. The mechanics left the car door handle dirty with a black hand mark as well as on the steering wheel. I had to stop at the store to buy cleaning wipes to clean my car enough to drive it home.They were quick, but not the cleanest place to sit and wait or not the kind of car to my vehicle like I would like or expect!

I told Monroe about the nail and that I was in a rush because I needed to drive out of town as soon as possible. I recently used Monro Muffler to work on my truck. I talked to Nick, who was managing the store at the time. He was very friendly and professional on the phone as well as in person. The work was done on the truck to my satisfaction and in less time than predicted. I would have no problem recommending them as well as using their service again. With the hours open that they offer, it makes it very easy to get in at time that works for you.

WARNING - BEWARE :I took my Toyota Corolla because it was making a scraping noise going over bumps. Monroe Muffler said I needed Gas Struts, Stabilizers and links and an alignment for $746. I took it to Top Notch Auto where they replaced the Air dam and clips for $49. And the problem was fixed. They said nothing was wrong with my struts, stabilizers or alignment. We have enough going on in this world and do not need local businesses ripping us off! I am sure Monroe leadership is aware of what their employees are doing, they probably encourage it. Please get a second opinion before you get ripped off big time like they tried to do to me ! RUN !

We were on our way to Teen Camp with our Church group, our muffler decided to break just outside of New Philly. Monro not only fixed our issue, but did so quickly and got us back on the road. We are grateful for their kindness in helping us in a pinch!

We are not difficult people, but we will NEVER return to a Monro. We had an appointment and for a simple balance/alignment and tire change (two tires), we were there for over 3.5 hours...and to top it off, we did not receive tires that match our other 2 (we were told they were the same exact tire) and didn’t know until they were installed. They even tried to charge us to have our other tires turned around so they would “match”. Ridiculous, poor customer service, and inefficient place.

They always do a great job and treat customers with respect.

I stopped in today after work because of a loud muffler. Even though it was a busy Saturday and there were only two men working, he took the time to go ahead and put my car up on the lift to see what the problem was. Despite being super busy and understaffed, they were able to qucikly assess and fix the problem with a quick weld for around $60 in half an hour, instead of me having to come back and spend hundreds more for a new muffler. They were very nice and accommodating, even though they didnt have to be, given how busy they were. I would definitely go back for more service if needed in the future.

I’ve been using this Monroe location for oil changes but never thought I’d use it for repairs. This recently changed and I’m very impressed ! The manager Josh was completely honest in his explanations, even when some facts could have been hidden, like the tire sensor just needing reset instead of replaced. The brake job he recommended entailed rotors and then a surprise caliper repair, all done quickly and for a very good price. He would not replace the calipers until I drove it for a day to ensure they were really broken and not just stuck. I’m convinced of his knowledge regarding all things automotive and will return.

This was one of the most efficient and friendly experiences I’ve had regarding car repair! I spoke with Josh around 6:25 P.M., he said if I bring my car down he would take a look and see what was wrong. I knew the brakes were bad however I wasn’t certain exactly to what extent. They put it on the lift and looked, called for parts and put brakes and rotors on and I was pulling out by 7:10!!! AMAZING job!!!! Thank you!!!

Very unhappy with wheel alignment that I have done drove home after they were finished and I pulled to the right,figured it was tire pressure but no. So it was a waist of 80 dollars, now I need to find somewhere I can trust to do it the right way. So dont waist money go some where, where they show you computerized results of what work they do.

Monroe put tires on my van and I was unable to get the lugs off. They said they did not do it and ask why I needed the tire off. I said I needed to replace a part. Well now they said they could not get the lug off without burning it off and replacing the parts of course for more money. I said no

I had a appointment at 2pm for my Ford Sports Trac truck, they were very helpful. I appreciated the service that I received.

Very kind and helpful staff. They bent over backwards to help me out at the end of the day. I had an automotive emergency caused by an accident involving the wrong antifreeze and they ensured that I was fully taken care of and the problem solved before closing up shop. They saved me $3000 by taking care of my car right away with a system flush before my coolant turned to gelatinous mush requiring an engine teardown and gasket replacements. Would recommend to anyone; their level of concern for my problem was refreshing in the automotive industry.Side note: if your car uses dexcool antifreeze (a red orange color; there should be a notice on the cap) dont put regular green antifreeze in it, bad things will happen and if left untreated it will cost you a lot of money! But if this does happen call Monro they can solve the problem quickly!
