I am 100% pleased with Diamond Motors and Marine. I first bought twin 250 suzukis from them and they run flawlessly. I then purchased a Sea Pro 248 from and had it custom built through them. I chose Sea Pro paired with a Suzuki 300 for a smooth dependable ride. So if you are in the market for a motor or a new sled. Give grant or bill a call I am 100% glad I did!
If you have to deal with them....then do so.But at 51 years of age and a lifetime of boating...these guys dont care about any experience you have much less boating.This is a free market thank God and I choose to give my money to someone interested in my next boat.As my 12 year old would say....go suck an egg diamond dont give two schitts

So went up this past Friday it was late. Grant got all my paper work done in time. Grant also let me drop my boat off on Saturday whitch was great. I had this company quote me 2 300’s for install, got financing approved, ready to go! Then all communication went away. Spoke to the so called GM, who replied we are busy and dont have the motors you bought!!! Really!! This is why we communicate, the folks are a real joke, from finance to management. I’m 500 miles away and was going do business with them, I should have went off Google 3.6 and ran! The owner of this outfit needs to step in before they drop below the threshold they are now!! What a joke!!!

Been dealing with grant for a week now trying to purchase a brand New Suzuki 175hp outboard and was willing to pay for it before I drove 682 miles to have it installed. First contact did not have vin or anything on it. Requested that the info be on there before I paid. He sent me the new contract with vin number, called Suzuki to make sure it was 25” shaft etc and found out the motor was sold in September by the boat place in maples Florida. They were trying to sell me a motor they did not have or a used motor at new price. Do not trust these people or do business there. I have all proof and documentation to back up what I am saying and also turning them into the better business bureau as well.
Had emergency work done on my trailer.. They wanted to sell me a new one 1st, and they damaged my NEW Mercury (less than 2 hours on motor) by not raising the motor while taking trailer into work area. They bent the skag and wont get it repaired nor did they offer to pay for the damages .. The work they did on the trailer was good but over priced labor.... never again ! Photo is before I took it to Diamond.. Skeg is bent 1/2 in. to the right now....
These guys are very knowledgeable and can order any part for your Suzuki motor there is out there. Watch out one guy just wants to sell you motor LOL guess thats his job LMAO

Drove there from Ormond to speak with Grant about repowering with twin 250’s. he acted like it was inconvenient talking to me. Kept looking at his computer. Zero customer service. Asked if he was the only salesman and he was. Will gladly take my $40000.00 somewhere else.. I would give him a zero if possible.
I have to say, theyre busy. Glad the pandemic didnt affect them. Had to wait a bit to have boat picked up for service but glad they were hustling.

Droped off my 36 contender over a month ago for a repower. Was promissed a 10-14 day turn around. Parts manager did not even order the steering rams which where NOT ON BACKORDER till 3 weeks in. You can expect return calls and customer service till your boat is there then forget it. When they finally got it ready to water test they powerloaded it after a hr test drive and rolled the front bunks damaging the hull. They tried to say it happened unloading the boat. By the way they do not have a licensed captain doing these test drives. They did fix there gel coat damage but not inspected yet. We picked the boat up today took to the ramp. No tools in the boat as we took them out to drop off. Found port battery not connected on the positive side and nut in bottom of battery box. Could not launch my brand new repower!!! None of the battery box lids where straped. Cut wires laying in the console. Guage connections zip tied and hanging in the console. Speaking of which was told would have 3 c 10 guages one for each enginge got 2 and a cover plate over my old triple engine guage which is loose. Upon further inspection in the bilge they coiled what looks like 10 plus feet of battery cable zip tied and stuffed behind floor live well a EXTREME FIRE HAZZARD IF THERE IS A NICK IN THE SHEATHING.
We recently repowered with a Suzuki df140. I spoke to Grant and he sent me everything in an email the we discussed verbally. After I dropped the boat I was pleased that they were always available (although very busy) when I had further questions about the engine and what is expected. Steve the service manager took time on more than one occasion to speak to me in length about the engine, process, maintenance requirements etc. These guys are super slammed with work and still made sure to take time to provide great customer service. I’m very happy with them and the df140 is a lil ripper too :)
I got the feeling Grant hates his job, hates dealing with people, and questions just piss him off, rude arrogant attitude, dont bother him, go elsewhere.
I had a local dealer in Alabama order me a Yamaha 90 outboard he said it would take 5 weeks to get I called on week 5 and the said that are not shipping it for another 15 days so I canceled that order and called Grant on Wednesday April 1 at 4:00 pm he said the Suzuki 90 would be shipped April 2 and I would have the motor by 5:00 pm on April 3 (That is a 13 hour drive) I got my brand spanking motor at 9:00 am April 3 Now thats what you call Service fast fast fast I WILL NOT EVER BUY A Yamaha ever again...Thank you Grant again :)
Great job in solving a leak issue, replacing the live well pump and bilge pump on my Sea Pro Bay 172. with all the rain we been having it took them a while, however they always answer the phone and keep you up to date. Great job guys!

My boat go struck by lightning in July 2016. It had low hours on it so I was quite dismayed. Thank God for insurance! It has been in a boatyard ever since in Port Orange. As busy as they were at their shop, these guys drove all the way up there (14 miles rt)and meticulously rewired and replaced every electronic device on the engines. It took months because I also had to have my whole boat rewired. And Rob was so great about communicating with me with my many calls for updates. They completed it with a tune up and now they run better than they did before. The mechanic even insisted on taking her for a test ride with him along to check everything. These mechanics are perfectionists. The engines are now like new!

Although they didnt have the inventory we were looking for, they were knowledgeable about the product and directed us to someone whom could help.One salesman offered us a ton of insight on the product we wanted and was a true professional. Well definitely be back!
Called Diamond about repowering, and was impressed by Grants customer service. However, that was short lived. Once the paper work was complete, the impressive customer service came to a screeching halt. Failed to return phone calls, failed to return emails. I was told my existing motors could be used as a trade-in, and cover additional items if I wanted them. Never heard back from them on that, had to make seperate trip to get motors and sell them myself. Communication from the service dept (Steve) was much better. I paid an additional $1600 to have fuel lines replaced, bilge rewired among a few other things. Took possesion of boat, found fuel lines coming from tank were original, dry rotted, never replaced. Starboard fuel gauge does not work (how do you install new stuff and not make sure it works?) Bilge wiring is coming out to be redone properly.All in all, I agree with a few other customers. Service dept upsales extra stuff even when original work, and upsale work is not completed or done correctly. After $34k, I have to redo and finish what they were paid to do. I would think that having the boat for over 2 weeks would have been sufficient for them to do a good job. I didnt mind the time they had the boat, as I am 100 miles from them, and dont want to take boat back to have fuel gauge fixed !! Cheaper to just replace it myself. Not impressed with the overall experience.*** Update 3/5/20I paid diamond to fix my starboard bilge. Went offshore yesterday, bilge does not work. Starboard hull holding close to 60 gallons of water. In 4+ seas, that could get deadly.Starboad throttle cables was not installed correctly, full of kinks, making starboard throttle very hard to use, also very dangerous when trying to maintain same RPMs on both motors. These people are going to get someone killed by doing very shoddy work.Did I mention that they are supposed to water test repowers? I am learning that they tell alot of people that they have water in the fuel, therefore they can not water test. They told me the same thing. Took 12 fuel samples from both tanks. Cleanest boat fuel I have ever seen, not 1 drop of water in the fuel.

Took my boat in a month ago for warranty work o it to find out that they have not touched it. Picked the boat up and will drive 2 hours to have the work done. I should have listened to friends who told me to stay far away from this place!!
Like getting blood from a stone! I completed an enquiry form on-line and requested a price for a particular, current model, outboard. I requested a reply be email as Im travelling overseas at the moment.I got this I do apologize as I am unable to assist you by email as there are several different 20hp models. We will need additional information about your boat and current outboard to get you a price quote.They clearly want to get you on the phone. It always raises my suspicions and, now, having read the reviews, I know why.The 3rd email from them said, they couldnt get me on the phone! What a surprise! I said I wanted an email. Then I got an email from the Outboard sales guy who said to call him if I needed information. I responded, pointing out Id asked for a quote by email. I got a very curt, one-line reply with a (not at all competitive) price.Given the difficulty these people have in understanding the clients simple instructions about communication, I have the gravest doubts about how a real problem might be dealt with after parting with my hard-earned cash. Needless to say, I wont be buying from this company.

They are not honest, they try and up-sale in the service dept. Seems like they care more for getting your money than customer service. I drove from ft myers to new symerna beach . Grant had the 250ss I was looking for and the price was right. Now about Grant and the service..I had my own bank financing, he worked with them.to ensure all paper work was done and done right. The guys in service hung the motor wired and installed new steer cyl in 1 day. day 2 finished all looses ends went and water tested. Results were less than expected so Grant and I went results were much faster than before .I guess I pushed it a bit harder and trimmed some more.. what a great place in early out mid day 2 . schedule your work they will get it done ....
These people are scumbags. If I could leave a zero star rating I would. I brought my boat in to install a gps and hookup the fuel gauge and they had it there for two weeks. I called everyday of the last week to make sure they were on schedule and they assured me time and time again it would be ready for me to pick up for my fishing trip. I called the morning of pickup and they assure me it would be ready by 1:30. I go to pick up the boat around 2pm and called when I was on my way just to be sure and they told me it wouldnt be ready until the next day. When I picked up the boat the install looked fine. I put the boat in the water and the fuel gauge was not hooked up at all. I wont even take my boat back there for them to fix there mistakes, thats how little trust I have in these people. They could tell me they would give me a 100% refund and fix their mistakes and I still wouldnt take my boat back here. They also said it would take X amount of labor hours when it ended up taking almost double. These people are crooks.

Approximately June 2016 I visited the Diamond motors/marine NSB location to inquire about a new Suzuki 4 stroke and cost and availability. Grant was very quick and short and not very interested in spending much time to answer questions but ratherit felt as of I was more of an inconvenience than a possible new motor sale and installation. All the while I was the only person in the showroom. I left possibly thinking he (Grant) was having a bad day and returned last week 30 July to purchase a new engine after speaking to many boaters with the Suzuki engine and doing research on the product.My visit again was on a Saturday mid afternoon I arrived again to be the only customer in showroom as i approached the salesman asked how he could help I advised I was wanting to purchase a new engine for my boat. He then re-directed me to the sales manager/GM after I had reference a prior customer.I was told they wont take my old engine in trade as they have 20 back there already after a brief discussion.I then was directed to Grant of which the conversation started off ok, but seemed to be more distant as the the more questions I asked, I proceeded with financing and was approved but when called back on Saturday to firm up the deal, Grant was gone for the day.On Monday morning I called in to firm the deal and place order but advised Grant I wanted a optional color to match boat and he became disgruntled, as if I didnt purchase a black color he had no use for my business, I also asked about rebates and was given mis information about that as well as installation options. I did explain that when we spend my money I reserve the right to do it my way and not his and again requested the availability of color choice. I reached out to the owner Craig Conway to discuss all of this but had no return call. I did not get good feedback from others but always try to give the benefit of doubt. Its a shame customer service is not a priority here and that makes me concerned that when I purchase my new engine how far out of my way I must travel to be treated like a customer and get good customer service.

Was lied to by grant saying he had a motor in stock next day his manager sold it from under him then he says hes gonna order it and call me in the next day or 2 to let me know when it would be in at about 3 o clock on the second day I figured I would call him and see whats going on he tells me now that motor is on back order so I had to scramble to find another shop with the motor in stock also he told me he would beat anybodys price and I found a place that beat his price by several hundred be careful dealing with grant
