Great service, suggestions, and assistance from an amazing staff! I will always go here first for my wood and construction needs!

Kinda on the fence (no pun intended). A week or so back I went in and chatted with one of the younger guys who was super helpful and accommodating with some questions I had about sealers and woods. Today went in for a different protect, asked some (what I would think) basic questions about dark stain affects on certain wood species. I mean this is a well known, old school lumber yard, having been around for years, this is your job, you should know this, but the only answer I got from one of the older guys was, I dont know, I dont paint things black. No: Im not sure, but let me get so and so, No: Im not sure, but generally this wood might absorb more/less or this may be more grainy... Something more than what I felt was, dont have time for you kid, go away and figure it out on your own. Just polar opposite customer service experiences.

Friendly and helpful. I have used them for years for many projects: playground fort, crown molding, base boards, desks and decks.

I use Hulbert Lumber quite a bit and always get excellent service. They have a better selection than the big box stores, and much better customer service. The prices are quite reasonable, as well.

I had a large deck job to do frist think i needed was my lumber i priced 4 different lumber yards Hulbert Lumber price was 20 percent less. Then when Jim H. Told me dilivery was free i was surorised from the start Jim knew the materiel frist hand he recamended the best Lumber for my deck he was so professional great customer service 5 stars he answered all my questions this guys a real pro thanks Jim H.for being so patient.
