The only Costco in Delaware. So this is the only Costco where you do not pay any sales tax. This makes this a pretty busy store. A lot more people than usual shopping in here. But it is a clean store. It has a decent selection of items for sale. And it has a great meat section. Employees are all smiles and gave an overall great shopping experience. Get a pizza from the food court on the way out.

Always a nice experience to visit Costco. This location offers Gasoline station in premises for Costco members. Expect crowd on weekends. Plenty of free parking spots around. Inside layout is as usual but a great variety available compared to other outlets.

This is a bright, spacious store which is always well stocked, clean and orderly. I was happy to see gas pumps outside and a Costco.com set of lockers inside. The inventory was different enough from the Costco I usually visit to make a longer drive worthwhile. It goes without saying that the prices are great.

I loved going to Costco! I went with my sister, because it was my first time there! I loved my shopping experience! The carry some of the same items Sams Club does, but they also have more. They have great prices on seafood and on some meats! And the prices on health and beauty is terrific! And the Liquor Store has many varieties of wine, and bourbons, tequila, and more! I will be back for sure!

I dropped my card in the store and was a bit worried that someone would use it to buy a big-ticket item. However, after about 10 minutes, I received a phone call from the customer service desk and they found my card! To reward the store, I went ahead and purchased an OLED TV I had my sights on :)

We enjoyed the jumbo crab crab crab cakes. They are superb.. Also the fried oyster appetizer is quite incredible. We enjoyed the oyster stew. Wait staff is prompt and efficient, And the bathrooms are particularly clean .

It was cool floating around the store checking out their layout and some of their great prices. Wish I wouldve had more time to shop. They didnt have any mustard or relish for the hot dogs we bought and it was dinnertime. Smh maybe someone should be checking on supplies every so often

Busy place tax free my guess. Real good wine and house branded liquor. Gearing up for Christmas so its time to get into the spirit. Pumpkin pie is back! Gigantic for I think under 8 00! Always a good value. One last item we love is the Kirkland eggnog in liquor store. Its back! Reminded me of home-made coquito from PR friends would make.

Great place to shop always busy food is fresh service is fast. We always get pizza to take home when we are living out. Also their hot dogs are just as good as the pizza. You may have to wait a little but it’s well worth the wait.

We purchased a paddle board at this location today. The board is 9ft long and we have a Honda CR-V. I recently had shoulder surgery and my arm is still in a sling. The store manager himself helped us unbox, load, and strap down the board to our vehicle! As someone who manages and operates customer service oriented businesses myself, this was an incredible customer experience! We shop here all the time and it is always a great experience. Quick in and out all the time. Just wanted to give Kudos to the Manager and his staff.

The flower department is amazing. Great floral manager. Extremely nice, makes ordering easy!

Four stars because the store itself is your average warehouse store. Lots of bulk items, high quality private label, and a food court. Workers are friendly. The main issue is the parking lot! Its a complete madhouse! The spots are too small; carts are left everywhere; rude, rude, RUDE drivers. I plan on only using my membership to buy things online and have it shipped to my home. Its not worth the headache.

Visit was as expected. Attendant was moving the gas lines. Store was very crowded. Food samples were back and were causing traffic issues. Best to go on weekdays if possible.

Excellent liquor store on site. Their new Malbec got a 92 score and its delicious. There is also a Costco gas station. Theres no better one stop shopping than this Costco.

Great selection and big warehouse. The biggest Costco Ive seen to date. I wish my local Costco had the some of the things this store had. For example, a liquor store. For the most part though it has most of the same stuff you normally find in a Costco store.

I used to like Costco until today.I was just there and was about 2/3 through filling my shopping cart when a worker started yelling at all the customers in the back that the store was closed and actually stood in our way and prevented us from putting anything else in our carts.Just before 6pm, without telling anyone why,  the workers started pulling down shields and putting blockaids in front of the refrigerated food,  preventing would be customers from purchasing those items, and then just after 6 the yelling in our faces began.This was ridiculous.Its perfectly fine to stop allowing new customers in to the shop at a certain time, but to not let people already inside finish their shopping is completely absurd. Anyone who is in the store before it closes should be allowed access to all of the food and merchandise until they are done. And they should NEVER be verbally or physically intimidated by your workers. Reminding people the store is trying to close and politely asking people to hurry up is one thing, but bullying customers and preventing them finishing up is not acceptable.If it is really so incredibly important to the company that they halt all shopping activities precisely at 6pm, then they should stop letting anyone in the store by 5:30 and make it known to anyone who arrives after 5 that they will not be allowed to shop a moment past 6.This was an absolutely terrible policy decision and whoever made it has no business being in charge.I will now be avoiding Costco. There are other options.

I love this Costco and have been coming here for many years. I also love their liquor department which have great varieties, but the check out cashiers needs to be better. Many times I’ve been waiting in line at the liquor department and see all kind of stuff and Charissa has always been the one that’s checking me out and oh boy, she’s always rude like she has always been. Sometimes she check ID, sometimes she doesn’t, but I realize she only check minorities. No hello, no thank you. I’ve seen this too often to realize this is what she is. Btw, you don’t need membership to buy alcohol here. Just don’t let them make a big deal out of it.

Recently visited the Newrak DE store to purchase vinyl floor planks. This was my first time picking up this kind of material. Luckily I found the store manager in the aisle who went out of his way to explain me the pros and cons of how I was planning to do this pickup. He walked with me out to the parking lot to see if my vehicle can take so much load, how I should distribute weight, went back in with me, helped load the cart. The experience was amazing and nice to see someone who is truly working toward meeting customer needs. Great job!

Went to the Newark delaware.locationPrices are higher than in MD.Upside, no sales taxHowever, spent that In gas..The club was fully stocked and a nice variety...not sure I will make the trip again. FYI, uou can purchase beer and wine. The stock is limited and prices are not that different. I found the best option at this club was the meats and prepared food options. This club had the best out of the 3 MD. Locations Ive visited.

Honestly, I always thought wholesale places were too good to be true. Especially for myself being a single guy when it really comes down to the price per item. I thought it never works out or youd have to spend a lot of money for the membership to be worth it. So for years, I would shop at Walmart and Amazon. I decided to go and check it out and try it out. I got the executive membership which was $120, but you get 2% back of what you spent on purchases at the end of the year and are guaranteed at least a $60 check by the store you got the membership from. So it works out to be the same as the basic membership with just the ability to get more than $60 on that check up to $1,000. Theyve got the main store, a liquor store, a pharmacy, a tire center, a gas station that turns out to be 20 or 25 cents off a gallon based on local prices, and even travel services online. They have in-store and online exclusive prices on certain things as well. Anyways, I went through every aisle and got stuff that I use all the time. My total came out to be about $271. When I got home I decided to do a full-blown calculation to find the equivalent item to the Costco store brand or name brand that I got from Walmart or Amazon and found the price per unit. I saved $179 by shopping at Costco in one trip. For the same amount of items for the similar or same products, I would have spent well over $400. You just have to have a little bit of space to put your bulk items at home. Additionally the holiday season is coming up and they have gift cards that are usually $100 worth for $80. So as long as these calculations keep coming out like this Costcos got me now. The customer service was really good too and I cant wait to keep going. :) This is NOT a paid advertisement.

Best Costco on the East coast has its own separate liquor store with wide range of selections of beers, wines and spirits. Best of all, it’s tqx free shopping and right of i95.

I have had a Costco membership here for almost 8 years. Every Friday I order 2 whole pizzas over the phone after work, and go pick them up. I enter through the customer service side because it is closest to the food court. I have been picking up my pizzas in this way for almost 3 years with absolutely no issues. Today I was accosted by not one, but two employees who refused me entry even after I showed them my card and explained I was just grabbing the pizzas I ordered, like every Friday. They were rude and unapologetic, and I left without getting my pizzas I was so upset by their condescending and mocking attitudes. I don’t know what they’re telling their employees these days, but it sure as heck isn’t to help customers.

Nice stop along 95 for gas and food, plenty of shopping in the area.

I Love Costco. I wish they will open up a store near Georgetown De. So much residential construction going on in Sussex County Delaware in general. Will need stores like this. Georgetown has open spaces for a store of this magnitude and parking.Would be great for all.

All goods of everyday use are availabe in Costco with reasonable prices.But only mmembers are allowed to buy.

Gas lines were minimal and more pumps than what Im used to seeing. The store was well stocked, and the lines to check out were reasonable considering it was busy.

Thank God for Deb at the exit door, she caught a mistake that the casher made that was hard to spot. Thanks for the help with the quick refund. They need to clone her and make her a casher!

This was our first this was our first visit to Costco in Delaware. They have a liquor store which is not available here in Pennsylvania. They have a lot wide variety of Liquors and wine. The best value of course is the Kirkland brand. I have found them to be very good.

This location has a legendary liquor store. Box OCabernet for $12? And premixed margaritas at $8.59 for a giant bottle? You cant go wrong!

One of the few Costcos on the east coast that have A5 Japanese Wagyu Steak. At $99/lb its a bit pricy but you wont be able to find this really anywhere else. Theyve a large parking lot area and overall its a great place to shop!

Costco near Christiana mall in Delaware is our favorite. We usually visit one in Lancaster PA. The Liquor store is popular in Delaware. There is also a larger area for the food products.

Costco at the mall is always jumpin! Now the taste testing is back too so you can eat while you shop... things are looking up again slowly but surely. Thanks Costco!

I adore Costco, but this location was absolutely insane to visit. The warehouse itself is just like every other Costco, but the parking lot is a completely different story. Spaces are a bit awkward both in sizing and, more importantly, in layout which can make getting to the gas station here a bit stressful. Even worse though are the drivers as they are rude and outright dangerous. Given that Costco can’t change who shops here I’ve given them 4 stars, but be careful when you go here. Maybe your best bet is to go during an off time.

Had a problem getting a refund on tires purchased online and went to have them installed at Newark Costco. Had some problems getting return and credit processed due to store policies. Derick from the Tire Shop was super awesome in working through some of the challenges managing my return demonstrating exemplary customer service. Will definitely recommend and share story. Carley at Merchandise Returns was fantastic as well. Made me feel like a VIP today.

Huge shopping complex. Supersize coming from India this is certainly a wonder for me.

This is the DE location closest to Philadelphia. Always a good place for deals on food, gas, etc, but the added benefit of course for this particular location is BOOZE. Love the quality and sections. Always go out of my way to restock and buy gifts for friends and family. Plus the mall has a great number of other stores if you need more shopping.

Costco is to BJ’s, what Target is to Walmart. They all sell relatively the same items. However, its all about the delivery…. Lol. Plus, samples are back! Best time to go is Sunday morning at opening.

Four out of five stizzarz. It would be 4.5 / 5 stizzarz if half-stizzarz were even a thing, but, since not, cant give them the full shabang of stizzarz. On multiple occasions have called in a pizza order to the food court, and when I arrived to pick up the (slammin) pizza was told it would be another 15-20 minutes. Otherwise, customer service is tremendous, the gas station a great addition, facility always clean, etcetera. Thank you for bringing back the All-American Chocolate Cake (in small cake form!).

Coz in here is Tax-free, they may increase the wholesale prices. Since my friend living in Texas told me the price is a little bit higher than theirs. Like cherry and steak or something.

Costco Newark has been my preferred place to buy for groceries and home appliances/electronics.The staff is really friendly and they try to keep everything in place.I love the fact that there are now self serving stations so checking out is now way faster and easier than before.Keep it going!

I usually go to the Baltimore location but figured I would try the Newark location because they have liquor store. I went on a Saturday morning and the place was absolutely mobbed. I expected as much for Saturday and had to park a few hundred yards away. Despite the crowded parking lot everything inside the store moved smoothly and I did not feel like I was being rushed or pushed around. I was window shopping for technolog: a home wireless router or and hard disc backup/storage. The prices were better than major retailers. The liquor store is quite a surprise is Kirkland branded wine and spirits which I understand to be better than average with a terrific price. I found a great deal on craft beer and bought a case.

Always enjoy shopping at Costco. Great selection of things I need to stock up on around the house. Plus good food selection, baked goods, etc 😋. However, Im only giving 4 stars due to the overly aggressive rep at members services, Theresa. I really only wanted the $60 membership but I felt like she was doing everything in her power to get me the executive membership instead. I even told her I just paid out a couple of medical things that was needed so I politely declined...but her response was basically...still, let me tell you why you need it. Big turn off for me. If someone doesnt want it, leave it be. Dont still try to force it. Otherwise, good trip.

We shopped for their amazing bakery bread rolls and thick-cut pork chops. Also found great prices on selzer water. Great prices BUT store is disorganized and merchandise is difficult to find. Not quite BJs way of organizing shelves and departments.

Oh yeah! $1.50 Hot Dogs are back! Food court is open and serving food. Life is good!

COSTCO always clean, well stocked inventory & friendly staff... but wish they didnt allow store to get so crowded during this CIVID time. People literally shopping on top of each other & hard to move around store. Also wish they only allowed seniors in during senior shopping hour.

Great stuff, great prices ! Checkout is usually easy but the self checkout sometimes malfunctions. Parking lot can be a nightmare but generally theres nothing to do about that. Plus your membership allows you to buy gas as well which is always the cheapest around !
