Great old school Portuguese Butcher, who raises and slaughter his own meat. Be certain to try and BUY the Pata Negra.

Definitely the best butcher in the Ironbound, probably best in Newark, possibly best in Northern NJ and MAYBE best in all of NJ? This guys wins nationwide charcuterie competitions with his house-cured meats. He breeds and raises his own pigs for crying out loud! I bought 2 pork tenderloins the other day and they were the most tender Ive probably every had. Im telling you If this shop was in Brooklyn, there would be lines out the door every day.

Delighted to find this little treasure in Newark. Had exactly what I was looking for. The only place to get Jamon Iberico

An amazing experience. We heard about the place and just walked in one day. After asking the staff about some of the sausage she went to get the owner Rodrigo. He came out and gave us an great overview of how he raises the animals, makes the ingredients, and creates his charcuterie. The aged sausage was great, especially the one with red pepper paste and the morcilla (blood sausage). The fresh meat, eggs, and produce looked great.

A VERY special place. This is the only U.S. purveyor of products from the Portuguese heritage pata negra breed. The owner raises them on a 250 acre farm in NJ. Rodrigo is a true master and totally worth the visit.

For future reference, the place sells Portuguese items. Not Brazilian. They have great Chouriço and presunto. I also just bought the most tender tomahawk steak Ive ever had. Seriously, its an amazing place that takes me back to Portugal.

Horrible, we sold 10 pallets (1,000 bags of 7 kg) of charcoal brand Sustain and we did not receive. I do not indicate Rodrigo, he and his wife are bad characters, the real wolves disguised as lambs.
