So much for 24 hour pharmacy. Just hope you dont manage to come when they are closed randomly for 45 minutes. Somehow I managed to catch these times twice in my past few visits.
I stood at the counter for about 7 min. while two employees engaged in their own social conversation. Four people were seated waiting for their prescriptions, three others standing in the pick-up line. When their conversation ended, I was told to stand in the pick-up line. Workers Comp medications I must take daily is available but is not being released sue to OPTUM/Genex/First Scripts confusion. For the second month in a row I have had to pay retail prices to receive one of the four meds waiting for me to pick-up. Only Phillip has been helpful.
The Drug Stores inspiration has influenced me as well. All of my orders were delivered on time and on budget. Both of the touch accuracy, products, and execution are outstanding. Thank you so much for your time and commitment in reading this.
Bought a body lotion for my daughter thinking they will charge me same price than other stores like walmart or target that is $9 to $12, when arrived home i realized they charge me $23 for it, go back and asked them if they made a mistake on the price, when they told me that’s the price here, i asked them is there any way you can match the price and the store manager with a rude and nasty attitude said we don’t do that here! this store is next to my house and we shop there almost every week, this lady should find a job that make her happy instead working on a place that she looks so unhappy! The cashier lady was nice and did process my refund with a kind attitude.
Friendly Service! Great Prices! Save those coupons or youll have now Idea what your missing out on! 🤗
The Beauty Consultant at this location, Carlos is very good. He knows everything in the store. He is extremely helpful and very kind to not just me, all the ladies that I see him help. I am a male customer and I drive 40 minutes out of my way just for his advice. Him and his partner Maria make an amazing team!! I would choose this CVS over any higher end Beauty store just for them. A+++ Service!!There you go!! Thank you again.
Lots of merch to choose from. Staff goes out of their way to offer the best customer service. Very consistant at every CVS store. Easy to transfer Rx to another store for your convenience. And they are all very friendly.
Love this store, its so easy to find what I need. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the store is always clean and bright.
Got a flu shot there four weeks ago and still recovering from it. Don’t know what happened but I am still in continuous pain. Muscle relaxers, antibiotics, and now steroids to try to help and still In Pain. Had to go to a masseuse because my should was freezing up from the inflammation reacting to the shot. Two doctors later and still in pain. Either it was bad placement of the needle or a very odd reaction to the shot or both. Getting pretty expensive to fix this problem. Not able to lift with my left arm as of two days ago could still see the hole where I was injected. Rather have the flu than deal with (they are telling 6weeks) recovery. No joke, this horrible!!!
Walked in. Stood in line (only person in line for over 5 mins before the clerk could help me)... when she was finally done displaying candy in the front, she said she could help me. I asked her the value of my gift cards please that I currently had. She replied she wasn’t sure if she could remember on how to do it. I asked then ... (after she got help figuring out to check the balance) to please combine them together ... she said I couldn’t do that. I then asked if I could purchase another gift card with these gift cards .. she said yes. Then said no. 30 mins later I was the only one in the store the whole time at 730am. Should have realized when no one else comes into this store ... it was a red flag. Worst customer service ever. Good riddance
With the exception of the blonde, who wears all the makeup, they have a very friendly staff who does a great job!
I’m from out of state, and just had massive surgery at UCI, but i left a crucial bottle of eyedrops back in Zona.Fast forward to the day after surgery and I need my drops desperately but I cant drive because I’m medicated out of my mind, and alone here at the Best Western Hotel that’s been so good to me as well! That’s where the CVS in Westcliff village Newport Beach steps in.I called them, within minutes Ying got my RX transferred and since I had being hilarious; she suggested I have the drops delivered since I was obviously baked on pain pills (I didn’t know cvs delivered).Great job Ying. You took a menace of the road and got me my drops.CVS should give u a raise, a day off and a bottle of their best wine.In all seriousness THANKYOU!!!!!!!!
An employee named Noel has been so courteous and helpful every time l enter this CVS STORE to shop. Although people at CVS are nice enough on the East Coast, they don’t hold a candle to Noel and the other employees at this NEWPORT location
The pharmacy is never in stock and always say well we can get this in a week for you. But when you take a medication daily, you dont have that week to wait.. its a common prescription so I find this ridiculous being the 3rd month in a row.
I’ve been with CVS for almost a decade all over Ca and Tx, we travel more than the average family, so it’s important to me to have a Pharmacy who can pull me up whether I’m in Orange County, Houston or Boston. I moved to Newport Coast a few months ago and it’s been a hassle to travel when I need to fill a script or kids get sick.. I called the store & spoke with the male pharmacist (didn’t catch his name,) & I gave my name & told him that I’ve always used CVS & moved nearby & asked if I could transfer from the other store, I offered my full name, nbr & D.O.B, told him the prescription name & Dr. we’re same & he quickly said “of course, asked me mg & quantity & said “Come on in, we’re all set.” I was served by Yingham Le at the “Drop off” window. Now, I’ve been sick for a week w/ fever & i didn’t think Id need to dress up for CVS, it IS where sick ppl go after the Dr., is it not? I also assumed there’d be a drive thru, but no such luck. I greeted her smiling & she kept typing focused on computer. I slid my script toward her & explained how an hour ago, I’d called & verified My transfer of store location, the Medicine & Dr were the same as always, AGAIN, my ONLY change was that I have a new address.. which she never took from me! I got a quick disapproving glance & she picked up the script.. (did you not like my outfit girl? Sorry I don’t own “Flu couture.”) I was surprised when 3 minutes awkwardly passed & she was still typing (keep in mind, I have a stellar history w/ CVS, nothing new but address. Script is the SAME as what’s on her screen..She never said a word, eventually walked away, approached a man faced away from me (who could only be the guy I talked to an hour prior) I overheard “new patient, new script AND she’s from Dr. ..... office..he continued his busy work, never seeing me or my file & shook his head no, so she walks up to me and says: “We can’t fill to non established patients.” I asked to speak to the male pharmacist, she ignored me. I explained I am established w/ CVS, no other store has EVER referred to me, (a decade long patient) as “Non established.” When she couldn’t give me a rebuttal, she said louder (now ppl are staring and I’m about to cry) well, it’s the pharmacists discretion for NEW patients w/ new fills, “but I’m NEITHER & my fills not early” She says “well, We don’t like this Dr. He fills alot of pain meds.”I said “not to me, look at the screen, no pain pill, benzo or stuff like that, in fact, I’m not only a wife, mom & servants of my community, I also happen to be in recovery!” I use THIS Dr. Office because MY P.A respects my long recovery, communicates with my other physicians, dentists and ensures that I’m not mistakenly administered opioids, she sees the recoverers almost exclusively. So, I again asked to speak to the head pharmacist and she just looked at me like I was dumb and completely ignored it. I told her she made me FEEL humiliated, like she thinks I’m trash. She said “I didn’t call you a loser.” (Huh?) ... Yingham Le, You allowed your discriminatory (& false) judgment supersede your ethics.CVS: Corp. Do you stand behind Yingham Le? Pull the tape & my file & do explain: WHY is it that before I was in recovery, I never had ANY trouble filling huge quantities of opioids? But NOW, now that you can verify that I have not had a painkiller in my body in YEARS & have a stellar med. file, NOW you question my integrity? Miss Le, told me to get a new Dr., said there are “TONS pf better Drs. & if I went to THEM, it’d be totally fine.”. Yet, strike 3, age ignored me when I asked her for referrals. I was polite from start to finish, I thanked her as I left holding back tears. I was humiliated & i feel strongly that your employees need to brush up on ethics, when to consider history & when to turn patients away. its not ok to not even address me when I ask to speak to the superior who told me to come in. DONT GO TO CVS sick or dressed for a drive thru, bcuz Yingham Le will reveal herself as the epitome of socially ignorant & selectively unethical. Today, my family & I part ways with CVS.
Really bad experiences here. The pharmacy always gave me a hard time. They even denied me my medication and now I am sitting at home coughing my lungs out. They’re suppose to help people but instead they’re causing people sickness to get worse... maybe that’s how they make their money, to get people symptoms worse and make them get more expensive meds and treatments
Their beauty section has been totally revamped. More choices, more fun and the customer service reps are so knowledgeable and helpful.
Staff is always very helpful and nice! Very professional.
This cvs only had self checkout available when i went (Sunday late morning) The self checkout didnt give me any coupons? I asked and the employee said i dont have any. I dont think i have ever bought something at a cvs and not gotten coupons. The employee working stood over me, I would have much rather she check my items out, instead of me. I give this cvs 3 stars instead of 2 only because they have a great cosmetics section. Unfriendly/unhelpul staff gets a negative. I usually go to the store on newport and harbor. They are super friendly and always offer help.
Dont know why the reviews are poor, but I absolutely love the people here. Courteous.
I just moved to this area this CVS is within walking distance. Went in to transfer my prescriptions. Ive never been in this store so I was looking around & and notice that the manager was following me around everywhere I went. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a place of business like that before. At first I was embarrassed but then I got angry and I approached him and told him that it was rude that he followed me around the store and he totally denied doing so.
I wish I was leaving a good review but I have had nothing but issues with my medications and this pharmacy. I have Epilepsy and require meds daily to prevent them from happening, one of my medications is a controlled medication I have had problems with them ordering in my meds in time for my refills and they gave me the wrong amount when I tried telling them they kept saying its a controlled medication and treated my like a drug addict which is severely offensive I didnt choose to have Epilepsy. I will be finding a new pharmacy that can treat me like a decent human.
Great experience every time I visit here!
Pharmacy wait times are the absolute worst I have ever been in. Moved around quite a bit and nothing compares to the lines and waiting at this location. Do not understand it because it seems as if they have sufficient staff. Calling to confirm has hold times in excess of 10 minutes. I need to switch away.
Excellent store, but staff refused to allow photos to be taken of anything
Those two bad reviews are old. Ive never had a single problem there, All the employees whether in makeup, pharmacy or at register, are all very friendly and helpful.
Large store. Ample parking.
Great staff, very helpful. Pharmacy gives excellent prompt service.
Nice people but consistently understaffed and long waits. Walgreens has always been much quicker.
Ive had worst experience at that pharmacy .
Crowed
I love that it is open 24 hours x an emergency .. very good 👍👍👍👍
I like it
