I really like these guys super helpful but today I shot one of their builds I bought almost 2 years ago and the gas block dislodged and moved forward on the barrel. Now i understand wear and tear of things but Ive only fired about 200 rounds total. Im disappointed as i feel Ive bought a low quality firearm now. I hope these guys help me out to correct the issue Im having(Will update)These guys are great. Fixing my issue and no charge.Will continue to return

Came here with my brother I just looked around, he got something built for him. The prices were pretty reasonable. He said he loved it and definitely will come back.

Tried a couple of places to get my muzzle removed on my AR15 and no success, until I went into tacticool and the people were so nice and helpful. They did remove my muzzle with no sweat. Would recommend coming here for anything.

I am currently looking for a gun to purchase and being that I dont know much the guys here where very friendly and knowledgeable about whats user friendly for a first time purchase. They even recommend a place for me to go and try them out before I make a final decision.

They only take Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Zelle. But, that didn’t even work when I tried. Then I tried customer service (they use Google voice, no land line). No one answered. Then I tried their live chat. The customer service rep who finally responded to my payment questions and why they were charging $60 for shipping on a 200 dollar item that ways 15 oz. said that if I didn’t like it I could shop elsewhere. No good.

Came here today to purchase a pistol. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Scott. Let me tell you something, he was awesome! I told him I was looking for a handgun and that I was at a decent budget. He showed me a few and recommended one to me. He was very informative and down right friendly to speak to. I’ve been to other stores where I’ve never been greeted and didn’t feel welcomed. Shop was great to look at too. I would definitely recommend coming to this place if you’re in Hampton/Newport. Parking was kinda tough though.

I did a private sale FFL transfer with the good folks at Tacticool firearms yesterday. The staff was very friendly and made the process easy. In addition, the small shop appeared to have a very nice selection of AR parts. FFL transfer fee was $30.

I had a pistol cerakoted in E100 blackout. The elite series cerakote is the way to go. The pistol came out really nice. When i brought the pistol home it fell out of my pocket on concrete and that cerakote is so tuff it didnt leave a scratch on it. I would recommend having your firearm cerakoted at tacticool.

AVOID TACTICOOL AT ALL COST. I brought my upper to Tacticool to have my SOLGW NOX pin and welded to my 13.7 upper. I requested the muzzle device be neutrally timed. Per the engineer who designed the muzzle device at SOLGW, neutrally timed should have put the ports at 11/1 or 10/2. Derrick instead right-hand timed my muzzle device with the ports at 12 and 3. When I received my upper and saw that the timing was wrong, I told Derrick of the mistake and he insisted that he was right and that he had 4 years of experience doing this so he knew what he was doing. I went home and called SOLGW to elaborate and they confirmed that the pin and weld was done incorrectly. I then called Tacticool to tell them what SOLGW had said. Derrick had a condescending tone and called me snotty when I told him what he did was wrong. Not only does Tacticool not know what theyre doing but will treat customers with disrespect when they are wrong. Unprofessional and incompotent!

Asked if they’re new firearms, he says they are “basically” new. I called for a price and Derick? said he was in the back he doesn’t know the price?? But I’m 30 minutes away & didn’t know a price? Guy at the counter literally reached all the way over to my side of the counter to grab OVER $630 cash, didn’t even let me count it & hand it to him.... as I put my wallet away I told him when he’s done counting to let me count it again before he puts it in the drawer 😑

Recently utilized Tacticool Firearms for a FFL transfer. Extremely smooth process, fantastic communication from the business, and beyond polite and helpful employees. First class experience, do not hesitate to deal with them in any way.

These guys are very experienced and know what’s up. I’m new to the AR world and they walked me through the process. I previously sold MSR’s for Bass Pro. Unfortunately they give you zero knowledge about the guns. Go see these guys and you will thank me later.

Omg I felt sooo uncomfortable in this store. I did not get greeted, they did not even make eye contact and the officer did not speak back when my husband and I said hello. I felt so disrespected so we spent our little $1000 else where. And by the way my husband and I are black middle aged state employees with dreadlocks.we also were the only customer in the store at the time.

These folks are very friendly. Good amount of firearms and accessories in stock. A big pkus is that they have an on site build shop for ar15s. If you need a selector spring or a free float install you pay a fee to do it yourself or pay a small fee and have them do it. I love coming here and I always leave wih something.

So far ive built 3 ARs from them and they have good prices even compared to online sources plus no shipping costs. their staff is super friendly and helpful. also done 4 transfers though them and they are by far the cheapest Ive found in the area so overall a great shop to got to. if you are looking for a variety of rifles though they ARE an AR-15 shop with a select few pistols carried. had a few issues with parts kits building but they helped out no questions asked. overall would recommend and even have to a few friends looking to build ARs.
