I have been in the Sephora store located inside the J.C Penny at Patrick Henry Mall and each time they have shown the absolutely WORST customer services. As a new customer who has never been to Sephora I will never go back. I am always use to buying my makeup from MAC, who by the way has the best customer service hands down no matter what MAC counter location I go to. Sephora on the other hand, let’s just say they need to train their personal better. They don’t know the any of the products they just guess and they don’t even try to help you or greet you when you walk into the store. I was in there for 15 mins before someone ask me if I needed any help. When she did try to answer some of my questions I felt like she didn’t know what she was talking about and I was better off just Googling the products and getting a better response based off other people’s reviews. I personally would not shop there again. Back to MAC I go and will stay.
Was trying to do something nice for my wife and my day was ruined after an employee thought I was trying to steal and snatched a bottle of perfume out of my hand. When I confronted her about it her response was sorry you feel that way as if she didnt think she did anything wrong. Had I snatched it back maybe she would have understood how rude it is. I was planning to purchase clothes as well (i like shopping at JCPenny) but after that incident I left and went to the other stores in the area.
I just visited this location and although it’s a good experience every time, this time was fantastic! Kayla assisted me and was very helpful ordering my foundation because they were currently out in that particular store. Her customer service was phenomenal.
No one would wait on me! 3 clerks on the store, 2 at the check out lines talking to each other and another helping 2 customers with makeup trys. Worst customer service every, no hi like company policy or anything. Do not recommend this store to anyone every!
I visited this Sephora location today with low expectations considering some of the negative reviews I have read about this particular Sephora. I have been struggling to find a foundation that doesn’t get flakey on my skin as I have a Rosacea with a very sensitive combination skin type . I have been wearing Clinique for over a year and wanted to try something new. I asked Emily for help to pick out a foundation. She done the color IQ on my skin. She went and selected a foundation and came back with Bare Minerals Pro Liquid Foundation. When she applied it to my face, it looked amazing and did not flake at all. It was even the perfect color! I asked her which primer she recommended and I ended up buying it as well as eyeliner and a foundation brush. Emily was great and I could tell she was knowledgeable. Also her make up looked really good! This Sephora isn’t no where near as bad as the reviews make it seem. I’m glad I stopped by today and I recommend this Sephora to anyone!
A friend and i went in yesterday. Kayla was there and she was an absolute doll. She was very attentive to both of us and happily assisted us as we explored the shelves.
Every time I go to Sephora the employees are rude. Yesterday, one of the employees were leaning on the side of the cashier counter right in front of me while texting as I was in line for 5 minutes. She didnt even notice me because she was too busy staring at her phone texting away. The other employee looked at me, ignored me, and pretended she was busy as I waited in line. After yesterdays experience, Im never going back to Sephora, even if the makeup is great.
