Just got our new wood laminate floors installed and love it. Frank and Steve are the best! Knowledgeable about floorings, allowed us to take samples home to decide which we wanted to match our decor, pricing is very fair for product and labor. We went to the competition which quoted us 3x what floor trader quoted. I recommended them to my mom whos also going to use them to have her floors redone.

Seemed decent but I like the Chesapeake selection better. This one is a franchise and I think the others are privately owned. It is also split up between a carpet store and the floor trader which was also kinda confusing. We were there for a good while before we were greeted then another while longer before we got help. When we did get help we felt like we got good information but also felt like the carpet store guy kept pawning us off on the floor trader guy even though we were asking questions about his carpet. Nice people when you did get their help. Wish they had a bigger selection of tile though.

I called for an estimate and was given an odd number of 800 for vinyl floor plank and there was a terrible loud noise in the call, I couldnt even ask him questions or hear his response.

The employees here are very friendly and helpful. They are like a family.

Three times that I called they immediately answered the phone and said, we’ll call you back. I don’t get that! Then, when I had my carpet scheduled to be laid, it was scheduled for 9-10am and they didn’t make it out until after 12 noon!

Above average, helpful staff. Helped honestly regardless of profit, and earned a paying customer for life.

Best place to buy floors

The communication back and forth was pretty bad, but the product is good and it was a good price. Took much longer to get the job done than other Floor Traders I have used.
