Where are my glasses? I had an eye exam and ordered glasses 4 weeks ago, when I called they said my glasses had a scratch on them. Glasses cost to much money for some lame excuses, you really should do a better job on delivering glasses on the date you promised.

When I visited this place, I was just getting my glasses adjusted and the girl didnt even clean my glasses after she was adjusting them.

I’ve been a customer for nearly 18 years and I’ve always had great experiences. My children are now customers as well. They’ve been going since their very first eye exam. I love Dr. Arndt and Dr. Ambrose. Very wonderful people. I strongly recommend this practice to anyone. 5 ⭐️

The wait time was ridiculous. I had a pre- scheduled appointment yet I still ended up waiting around 30 minutes to start my exam. Then, no explanation was given by staff about the wait time, unprofessional.I also had to go to 3-4 different rooms without contacts or glasses on (to conduct the exam). I couldn’t see and it was frustrating to have to keep getting up and moving when my vision was blurry. I think it would have been better had the staff explained that I’d be going to different rooms..instead I was shuffled back and forth with no heads up of what was going on.Lastly, I never received a prescription. I understand that this office has follow up procedures and conducts second visits, but the amount of money I spent and the quality of service I received today, I should have been handed a clear prescription before I left. (I didn’t realize that I didn’t have one until I got home).Overall, not a good overall impression or visit. I probably won’t be returning.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The doctors really take the time to explain everything to you. They are very knowledgeable in regards to your insurance and take the time to help you look for just the right glasses to fit your needs and preferences.

This location was very clean and professional I was in and out with a full exam that I havent had in over 2 years and glasses order within 30 minutes. I seen the doctor within 10 minutes of my check in an appointment time he was very professional and nice. His name is Dr. Arndt. The staff was very polite professional and experience as well.

Extremely high prices, even with insurance! Much cheaper prices can be found elsewhere. The average American family cannot afford these prices. Shop around or order online.

From once you step in the front door, the front desk people help you fill out papers and questions you need. They have high quality brands of eye glasses. When your in the waiting they have uplifting positive music playing double plus. All around great atmosphere. They also can help you choose the right frame for your face shape.

Great Staff! The doctor impressed me the most. Had a really great attitude like it was his first day and loved every bit of his job but also knowledgble like he done it for 20 years. I forgot his name but ClearVision did a great job hiring him!

A great doctor owned business full of respectable professionals who take eye care to another level. Expect the best service you can find with great equipment, 100s of frames for glasses as well as quick and polite service. Parking was a hassle but this is more than a place to get glasses its a one stop trip to eye care. Thats 30 years in the making and plenty more to come.

I moved to the Hampton area several months ago. I needed new glasses and a prescription for contact lenses. I was searching for an optometry shop just like the one I trusted for many years. Based on online research and customer reviews I was having a hard time finding the right one. A few weeks ago, in a meeting at work, I noticed one of my co-workers was wearing new glasses. I asked him questions about the overall quality of service at the optometry shop. He strongly recommended and said that I wouldnt regret trusting ClearVison. He was right. I have no regrets, only compliments! Dr. Kristy Ambrose was so nice, patient, and respectful of my opinions. The staff was very nice and kind, especially Amanda. Every time, I called and asked questions, she kindly and patiently provided answers with details. She is just awesome! My overall experience was very pleasant and I am extremely satisfied.

Very high price for eye glasses. Payed off have and when I went back during Colbert 19 outbreak after I was sent a letter saying they was closed to pay my remaining balance and was told that they were thrown out and I would have to start over. I’m a single disabled parent

Love the folks at ClearVision in Yorktown! Kristy Ambrose, the doctor, makes eye appointments enjoyable. She always has lots of conversation, and she remembers stuff from the last year or two ago! They are a great bunch, and have a great selection of glasses and contact brands. Their equipment is also very high-tech and makes the aapointments that much faster and easier. Customer service was great and the technology for the eye exam was advanced. What caught me off guard was a separate fitting fee of $99 dollars that’s not included in the exam fee. I really didn’t like that as I’ve been going to America’s Best for the past 10 years or so and I pay $99 for 3 years worth of exams and there is no fitting fee. As a matter of fact there were times America’s Best would just give me a free pair of contacts. I understand everyone can’t just give things like that, but having become accustomed to that type of treatment... I was spoiled.Due to the fact I wasn’t prepared to pay the extra $99 they did still “loan” me the contacts though, just can’t order new ones until I pay the $99 for the fitting fee.

The two young ladies at the desk were very helpful and polite. They answered all of my questions during the initial paper work and eye tests. Dr. Ambrose was very polite and explained everything as she was doing the exam. The young lady that helped me pick out the new frames was very helpful and polite as well. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know that wear glasses. I will be returning for all of my vision needs in the future.

It’s a hidden gem.Who knew getting an eye exam and new glasses could be so fun!?I highly recommend them! I found out they existed through Groupon. The entire staff is friendly & professional from start to finish. The sweet lady who administered the air test did it easily & I felt no grit or pain the other tests was fun!The doctor was kind & fun! The sweet sales associate was patient & helped me locate a pair of frames I was looking towards!Each member went above & beyond explaining the process & making me feel welcomed & comfortable. There’s a wide variety of frames styles to choose from within different price ranges. I can’t wait to get my new frames :)

Staff is really nice, but the doctor was very rude and made me feel like I was an idiot for wanting to get an eye exam, even though I did need glasses. He really needs to work on his people skills. Hes supposed to help people not make them feel unwanted. I wont be going back to him!

I really like going to this place. The prices are a bit high but the team is great. They got so many discounts out for me I didnt even know about. Even regular Tricare payed a big part of my glasses and I thought they wouldnt cover anything. Will definitely go back there for my next pair.

I was notified by debt collection agency regarding medical debt which I have not owed to Clear Vision. My insurance company has paid the bill off in May and the debt collector sent the debt letter in October. In between times, Clear Vision did not bother to inform me about the bill before hiring the debt collector. Because of their billing mistake and bad customer service, I had to spend time and effort to dispute the debt which I have not owed: contacting insurance company, debt collection agency, and credit report. It was not a pleasant experience. I won’t go there again. You may want to double check your bills.

I was seen at the Grafton office and it was a wonderful experience! There was coffee (always a big plus in my book), a very friendly and helpful staff, and the doctor was friendly, knowledgeable, and very thorough. I would highly recommend this vision office if you are looking for a good eye doctor.

The most comprehensive eye exam I have had since beginning college and that was a long time ago. everyone was nice, smiled, the doctor explained everything in detail. lovely experience.

The staff here was helpful but I found the prices really high. Even with a Groupon for $225 off, I still had to pay another $65. This was for the cheapest frames in the store and the basic, no-frills lenses. I could have gone to my regular place where I get my prescription glasses and spent much less.

ClearVision Optometry in Grafton has the best service and staff. Kristy Ambrose (Chmielewski) is my doc and shes great!!! The staff is personable and professional, they take a personal approach to your well-being and service. Not to mention, they have a great selection of glasses and are prompt in getting you in your eyeware. I would recommend ClearVision Optometry in Grafton to anyone that is in need or just wants to change to a place that puts you first.

Avoid these money grubbers. They will refuse to see you unless they can run up a large bill. I made an appointment for refraction and to purchase two new pairs of glasses only. When I got there, they insisted on running the full gamut of pricey tests, even though I told them my opthalmologist does these annually. They would not refract me unless I ran up the big bill.

In between healthcare plans I found this amazing offer on Groupon for an eye exam and glasses at an amazing rate. Doctor and staff were a pleasure.

I was able to get an appointment on short notice. The office staff was friendly. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the eye exam and the digital refraction system ( I dont know what its actually called but it was really cool).My only negative was the staff member that did my preliminary work did not read that I had declined the digital retinal photography on my consent form. She was working pretty quickly and when I sat down at that machine, I recognized it and I stopped and questioned her before she took any images. Im being seen by an opthamologist on a regular basis for a condition so I get retinal photography done at another office (thats how I recognized the machine). I was upset about that part b/c I could have been charged for an exam I didnt want at that time. She was very apologetic, though, and the rest of the exam went well.Dr. Arndt answered all of my questions and I left feeling confident that I had what I needed. I got my new progressive lenses tonight and I love them! Everything is so clear and thankfully Ive adjusted quickly.I only did a self pay eye exam so I cant comment on the optical area or their other services. Overall, I had a positive first experience with ClearVision and I would definitely recommend Dr. Arndt and his team. I am still giving them 5 stars despite the one negative b/c I appreciated them scheduling me on short notice and I am very pleased with the end result.

This location screwed up my order up terribly. I then tried explaining the situation but the clerk (a blonde mid-age white woman) tried to correct me in a rude manner, but luckily I had my invoice slip to prove her wrong.

Love their service and how they treat their employees ( Considering i used to be one) I would advise more people to come here.

Clear vision is a wonderful place of business the staff is very friendly and there is a huge variety of glasses in the office.

As far as the examination and staff goes they were very friendly,but when it came to picking out my very first glasses the experience wasnt very enjoyable when the staff automatically started adding on options without asking u first and letting u know up front how much each additional option would cost, they would remove the options only after you would tell them instead of asking u first if u would want them and how much more each option would cost.

Both my wife and I love this place and all the staff members.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!! DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE TRICARE. They are sneaky when you call to make the apt they are nice as can be reassuring you they accept tricare and everythings covered but then they bill you directly and get around it by using medical codes they know tricare doesnt cover so they get their full amount they bill. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN NOR RECCOMEND
