Ive been here numerous times for both checkout and drive thru, and my experience has literally always been positive.
I called in a refill at The least busiest hour and waited and waited for someone to pick up the phone. My automated refill for my sinus medication would not be ready for 5 days. Really, that does not work for my head. Got to look for a better pharmacy. Perhaps Rite Aide may be better at filling my medications.
Would never go back. I tried getting a prescription filled there from my doctor. They said they never received it and that I wasnt even in the system. I have been using that place for years. I will never go back. Customer service is garbage and no one picks up the phone.
Started off with good service. They were kind and helpful, but now it is impossible to get a refill. They will text you that it’s ready to pick up and then it won’t be ready. I received a text a full 24 hours before I went to pick it up and still it wasn’t ready. They blamed it on their system sending automated messages, which if you’ve been a customer of CVS you’ll know is impossible. If you can avoid this pharmacy. I’m extremely disappointed as I’ve been a long time customer of CVS Pharmacy in other cities. The NN locations have not lived up to the CVS name.
I just came to get a passport photo. I stood in line to wait my turn. The girl on the register tells me to wait to the side and somebody will help me. However they continue to ring everybody else up and I’m just waiting which was annoying. I feel like if I stood in line like everybody else it should be my turn. Meanwhile they have two people on the register one of them could’ve stopped to take my photo. One of the girls on the register continue to pass me and not even say excuse me just looking rude. I was so annoyed that I just left. This was my worst experience at the CVS and usually it’s not this bad. It was two ladies on the register this evening and I do not appreciate them.
This is the slowest CVS on the planet. Just waited an hour and 15 minutes in line to pick up a prescription. Absolutely ridiculous. This location just needs to close. They have nothing but problems and the management is terrible. If they cant handle filling prescriptions they need to close the pharmacy and let a different CVS that can handle it, handle it.
The wait time on phone to talk to pharmacy staff is very long. It can be 20 minutes. Also, fill refills automatic. Most of time too soon. So u must call to cancel something u did not authorize in beginning and wait for awhile. Cannot get address right.
Just happened, I had appointment I scheduled 1,5 week ago to do COVID test, just few hours bfr traveling so its really emergency . When I came on time, its saying to wait in left side drive thru, well it took me half hour . On window they told me for that test I got to come inside. Than she call young lady, and she said to me o I am sorry we done testing 10 minutes bfr . I explained that I was there on time and followed as was said... well she apologized and told me to go somewhere else... just like that, left and stressed to find other place . Will never back and do business with them.
The wait time and misinformation is inexcusable. I very rarely take the time to write reviews but the employees at this CVS have repeatedly given me a pickup time and have not had the prescription ready when I arrived well after the pickup time. There have been several instances where they told me to come back the next day. Two times, they refused a single pill for heart medication and told me to come back the next day. When I showed them my moderately high heart rate on my Apple Watch, they simply said “we can’t fill it until tomorrow and maybe you should go to a hospital then”. The obvious comment I will receive is “go someone else” and I have. But I feel like a have a responsibility to confirm the other comments people have about this store (which I believe is a poorly run outlier for CVS). Other CVS locations seem to be fine.
I have been waiting a month for my prescription (5/5 to be exact)...I recently got a text it was ready for pick up, but according to the app its on hold. Nobody answers the phones at the pharmacy so I couldnt tell you if its actually filled. I only use this pharmacy due to the very convenient location.A few months ago they kept telling me they didnt have basic birth control in stock for TWO WEEKS!! I finally got tired of waiting and transferred to another pharmacy.I have been using this pharmacy for years and had no issues until COVID. I have shown this place grace and patience for over a year ... but their operations are legitimately harming my health. After reading these other reviews it appears I am not alone. All Im saying is...there is a Walgreens right across the street...will be checking it out.
While the fire hazard of the Pharmacy with stacked boxes everywhere has been fixed, this store is physically dirty today.Does anyone have a vacuum cleaner? Hell, Id vacuum while waiting for my autopilot med that isnt ready...
They do not care about peoples health. Being 5 days behind should be illegal when it comes to filling a prescription. My mother has been getting her prescriptions filled here for over a year now and they were saying 5 days behind then. Unacceptable. Also the staff is rude. I stood in line for over 5 mins before someone even acknowledged me. I know they saw me as no one was at the register and Im a tall big girl.
Only been dealing with them for less than 2 weeks over a couple of prescriptions. The hold times to ask simple questions are well over a half an hour each time (5 different calls so far). Customer service isnt much better in person either.
This CVS Is slipping. They always seem short staff and they are not that friendly. There’s barely ever anyone at the register, I’m guessing because they have self check out now. But, people still need help. They need to revamp some things, starting with their attitudes. It seems they have been getting a lot of one star reviews lately. Maybe it’s time for an intervention .
I have been using this location for almost 8 years and I will be changing soon. I used to get prescriptions sent from doctors office and be ready in 15 minutes. It now takes them a day or days for the same thing. Been like this for a year. No complaining at first, everything was messed up, but they need to straighten out the problem.
The inside was okay in wait time and the people could be friendly, and thats why I gave one star. The drive thru is very slow. Right now Im sitting on the phone and its been 41:53 minutes. This is horrible. Sadly, I have to use this location because the other location claims they dont have a particular medicine for my Dad. They were suppose to transfer the medicine to another CVS but I dont know what happened. Im honestly tired of both locations. They have the same issues: long drive thru wait times, long phone wait times, long refill wait times, inconsistent wait times. If the online management for my dads meds wasnt the easiest with CVS, I would move his pharmacy. Im still considering it though.Update: my ultimate wait time was approximately 59 minutes. Unfortunately, their reason for wait times is the same as the other location.... They cant get people to work. Understandable because of the situation where ppl are not wanting to go back to work. So, if youre reading this and know someone that can work here.... Please refer them. Its a sad situation. I upped my rating to 2 stars.Today was much better. The meds were filled in a good time. Thank you. Rating updated. 6-22-2021
Real slow service in pharmacy and they are not short with staff also no one answer call
Going on day 2 without my prescription when they have had 5 days now to fill it. I asked the man at the pharmacy if they had disposable face masks he said yes at the front desk, the lady at the front said they don’t have those and when I walked back to the pharmacy they were closed, on a Saturday night. Please do not waste your time here. 👎🏻
I have been transferring my prescriptions from, this location to Sams club. They take weeks after medication refill is called in to refill the scripts. One blood pressure medication, I waited two months for, finally transferred to Sams club pharmacy, took 1 day for Sams to fill. Was without pain medication two weeks two months in a row. I am in the process of transferring all my medications from this cvs location, tired of the wait and the constant lies about how they are working on It, every day when you call or go to pick up.
CVS has really gone down hill. Awful wait time on the phone. Very short staff, issues with transferring prescriptions. I am sick and tired of all the CVS stores Oyster Point and Denbigh/Jefferson location. Does anyone even from Corporate office read the terrible reviews? I’m considering transferring to Walgreens or Costco. Terrible customer service. On hold for 24 minutes.
0 stars for pharmacy. Unreliable. No care for patients medication needs. They give you a time frame yet never hold up to that. Only reason I go here is because insurance requires CVS and there is no other one close to me house.
Customer service was horrible today! There must be a change in employees in the pharmacy lately. I tried to resolve an issue with one of my prescriptions and had to get my insurance company involved. Whoever the pharmacist was today was even rude to the customer service representative from my insurance company and told her a blatant lie concerning the payment of my medication. Ive had enough of their incompetence. Cant wait to transfer to another company
Too busy to be of any help.Disorganized pharmacyOrders setting everywhere.Have to ask am I getting the right perscription
Im a diabetic. Cvs gave me my pens. But no needles. I asked for them, they told me they were on hold because they could not understand the prescription. I called today and they told me to call the Dr back because the prescription for the needles expired! Meanwhile, i have my insulin, but no way to administer. Im sure my wife will sue cvs if I go jnti a diabetic coma because the cvs idiots dont know how to do their piss poor job.
The person who did my test came to my car 30 minutes after my scheduled (5:10pm) appointment for covid testing. I was okay with this I don’t mind the wait. I work in health care myself. However she then proceeded to tell me that they don’t usually see late patients but she would make an exception. I politely told her that I was actually there 10 minutes early and that I was confused as to why she would say I was late. She then rolled her eyes and explained that she would still see me. When she walked away to get the test I pulled up the instructions I received in my email which were to 1: pull into a designated covid resting spot (which I did, spot #2 to be exact) and 2: wait for a phone call or for an employee to approach. DO NOT GET OUT OF YOUR VEHICLE OR GO INTO THE BUILDING.All of which I followed and had been 10 minutes early as I pulled in at 5 pm.I showed her the instructions and voiced my concern for her irritated appearance with me. She then claimed that it didn’t matter cause she was gonna see me anyway.I attested that I wasn’t concerned with the test and merely at the principal of her calling me late and no being able to explain why she thought this way. She also told me that my perception of her was wrong and that she was not rude and that it wasn’t a big deal.I understand that these are stressful times, I’ve already had covid once and I work in a health care environment. I understand the stress and frustration of late people and rude people. However I was not one of those people. No problem with this location just wish the person who assisted me would have been better at communicating and explaining her view as well as if she had not been so rude to me.
I went to the ER today because I was not feeling well. I was given the same pain medicine that I got a month ago when I went to the ER (in which my insurance paid for in full) My husband and I were told by the pharmacy that my insurance would not pay for it. I was in so much pain so my husband took me home. He then went to pick up my medicine and paid $11.99 for it. Its not a lot of money but its my money! Just imagine ... the people that pay hundreds for their medicine. I did not call my insurance company to ask why they wouldnt cover it until the pain medicine I was given at the hospital wore off. I was told that they absolutely would pay for it, and we should go back for a refund. I called CVS to tell them my husband was coming back. When he got there NO one at the pharmacy knew what he was talking about. They all said they had no clue what he was talking about, and that I didnt call there?? (all in just 30 minutes) WoW ... I deal with that one pharmacy only! My husband and I were on the 3way, we called our insurance company, and every employee at the pharmacy ingored my husband as he kept saying many times excuse me all this, as our insurance company listened. SMHOur insurance company hung up with us to call on the line designed for insurance companies To no avail ... she called us back to say she left a detailed message. She suggested that we call the CVS corporate office tomorrow during business hours to file a complaint, as she will do the same. As I sum this review up I would like to say ...BE VERY CAREFUL this place is the WORST, and SOME of the good reviews you read about on here are from people that work there, I know their faces!!I will take all the prescriptions my family fills here TO ANOTHER PLACE for sure!!GOOD BYE ... CVS!!$11.99 is peanuts to some but its my peanuts, that work hard for.Keep in mind if they did it to me, they can and will do it to you.Just plain ... sad!
Takes an HOUR to get meds through drive thru!!
This store has the worst Pharmacy in the state! Takes days to get simple refills as they say theyre backed upTHEN HIRE MORE PEOPLE.....DUH!Drive thru is no better and people are having to wait 30 minutes in line to pick up completed orders... horrible
I called before heading out to fill my sons prescription. I waited on hold for over 15 min. I decided to leave the house while I was on hold. I get there wait 10 min in line and the guy tells me they cant fill it tonight. I tell him thats ok I will get it tomorrow. Then when I say my insurance is new he tells me to go to another store because they cant do it tonight. If they would have ANSWERED the phone in the almost 30 min then I could have done that before waiting. The guy working the drive through also seemed clueless as to what he was doing.
Waited 20 minutes for rapid covid tests only to find out they canceled testing for the day and didnt notify me.
I went to the store around 11pm 2 nights ago. Theyre clearly doing a remodel and had about 8 or so associates working in there. Not a single person greeted me or acknowledged my presence. I was also.only 1 of 2 customers in there so theres no way they were too busy to speak. I decided to use the self checkout since the 2 associates up front by the registers were having a very personal conversation and also didnt acknowledge my presence. The whole experience felt very cold and unwelcoming. Ill stick to Rite Aid from now on.
This pharmacy is currently putting us in a predicament that negatively impacts our epileptic dog. Yes, its just a dog but she cant tell us what is going on. The vet did also make a mistake with the updated dosage but quickly fixed it and faxed it over to the pharmacist. The pharmacist, however, sat on it and lied to my wife they they had not received it. She had to go to the vets office and have them call the pharmacy to find out that they did receive it but was put on hold due to questions regarding dosage. After that was resolved, they then said it could not be filled until tomorrow!DOES THE PHARMACIST NOT REALIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF NOT MISSING A DOSAGE WITH THOSE THAT HAVE EPILEPSY??? ITS TERRIBLE WITH HUMANS BUT SCARY WHEN YOU HAVE A 60LB DOG SEIZING AND DOESNT UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON! To say the least, we will be pulling all of our business from this CVS. They pushed the limits with screwing up on our meds and receiving prescriptions that have been short on pill count. Their poor communication to the customer and lack of due diligence with managing our dogs prescription has pushed us past being patient. To say the least, I hope they get audited and are found to be negligent with their handling of prescriptions.Update.. turns out they had the meds! Why did they lie and say they didnt and tried to push the refill to the next day???
If you think the minute clinic is going to be quick, you might as well bring a book or something because its going to be a while before someone sees you. We got there at about 1045am and there was one person ahead of us and one inside already. The screen said 25min its been an 1hr and 10min and we are still waiting. And if it wasnt because the new hire process sent us here, I wouldve left and went somewhere else. If I could give them 0 Stars I would.
This CVS Warwick. Pharmacy location staffs are very friendly and helpful. That very nice lady helped me through all the online process for my CVS free delivery. My bad, I did not get her name, but she knows that’s her I’m referring too. I appreciate very much and thankful for your big help..... FB
I just would like to say thank you to associate/pharmacist Khalilah she went above and beyond to provide me with my much needed medication that was unavailable at no fault to her own, in a time where I know these employees are overwhelmed and exhausted she still provided me with excellent customer service and I appreciate at her and all the employees at CVS, keep up the great work.... thanks again Khaliah
I work in a pharmacy and I have NEVER heard of a pharmacy not filling a prescription until the day after because it was written the day before. I got that script from the ER at midnight I had to go home that night because they numbed my eyes. That doesn’t mean I didn’t need the prescription just because I brought it the day after that is truly sad sounds like they just making stuff up, and using COVID as the excuse making it seem like it isn’t important because it was written yesterday.
I called Chris the pharmacy tech and asked if my prescription refill was ready. He acted like he didn’t want to work and lied tht my refill wasn’t ready. The staff is rude and gives wrong information.smh🤦🏽♂️
If I could live here I would! This place is amazing, every time we come here it’s always clean, organized, and we find EVERYTHING here. I was just on the phone with Alex I believe and he actually looked to see if they had it the other stores said “no.” And didn’t even look. The music was very satisfying and I just love it here! I would suggest going here, but it is a little on the expensive side.
Don’t go here for shingles vaccine. I was told first dose had to be done by their in-house Minute Clinic. So we signed in and waited...and waited...and waited! Our listed time had counted down from (about) 20 minutes to zero...and we waited. The practitioner had been out a couple of times with a patient but hadn’t acknowledged anyone sitting there(by this time, 4 people waiting). No one in the store had any way of contacting the practitioner short of knocking on the closed door. After waiting 1 1/2 hours, the practitioner came out and said she would still be tied up for about 15 more minutes. She then asked who was waiting for a vaccination and which vaccine. I told her and she said it would be (about) $280.00 out of pocket as they don’t bill insurance for it! I had gotten flu shots there every year for several years and insurance was always billed! I got up and left! I eventually got the first (of the two required) at Walgreen’s for only $20.00 as they billed the insurance company!
I usually go to the CVS in Grafton but today they were out of the medication I take so I went to this one instead. Bad experience!!!! No Help in the pharmacy!!! was in the store over an hour to get my prescription. Long line as well and no one cared!! The employee in the pharmacy said this is how it always is, and he cant wait to transfer out. The pharmacist on duty knew I had been waiting a long time and told me to notify the corporate office!!
I came here to get 7 passport photos a few weeks ago. I purchased them, stored them and when I looked, there were only 6. This wouldn’t be a problem but I needed them to be identical. So I went back and explained what happened. Unfortunately, I didn’t keep the receipt because it had been so long. Now I wasn’t asking for a new set of photos for free. I asked if they could reprint one for me but they couldn’t find it in their memory cards. So I paid for a new set of photos and told them I still have 6 of the old ones, and I requested that I be compensated for them if I brought them back in. She said no. I asked why. She said if I don’t have the receipt she has “NO WAY” of giving me a refund. Really? No way? Okay. So I left frustrated. Only come here for snacks or a drink. And remember to keep your receipts locked away, because God forbid they screw up something you asked for and don’t return your money because you don’t have it.
I have been coming to this location for 3 years now. I switched from Walgreens. The staff is ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL!! I also like how the pharmacy staff are willing to answer questions. I love this location. I am glad to have switched to CVS.
Unless you want to wait 30 minutes for a money order and be treated like a criminal, dont recommend. Have been coming for months to get an order for rent. Until recently, never had an issue. Now its turned into the employee recounting money 8 times, scrutinizing my ID, asking me to smile so he could compare the picture to my face, and using every possible test to make sure its real (which, obviously they should check bills, but after marking the bills, shining lights, and holding them up, the employee felt the need to repeat the same process thrice more...including on ones). Writing Because my roommate (white, I am not), who was in line behind me, had a much faster experience, through the same cashier, for the same amount. I dont appreciate assumptions and if youre going to go overboard checking things, go overboard for EVERYONE.
Scheduled a flu shot online, after waiting 30 minutes on the phone, to arrive and be told they dont offer flu shots.
Long story short the pharmacy is a joke here. I keep getting the run around on my children’s medication. Now I am pretty patient when it comes to things. I was told last week my child’s meds wouldn’t be ready until Tuesday then Tuesday comes and it’s not ready. I get told they will have it Wednesday. Well I call they said it would be ready after 5 pm. I tell them I will pick up after. They then call me at 8:15 and now tell me my child can not get his meds until sometime next week. They couldn’t even give me a date and all they can do is have me go back to the doctor and then have them send it to another location. This is Ridiculous. I’m lucky it’s not something that could affect my child life or death wise but it does affect his school life and his home life and now because of this I have to go back to the doctors and find a new pharmacy.
Call in RX asked for it to be ready at 2pm on my way to work. Waited for someone to help me my RX was not ready clock said 2:30. CVS why do you even ask what time I want to pick it up if it’s not going to be ready.
Went there tonight in need of a new prescription and they had us in and out in 20 minutes or less. Definitely found our new pharmacy. Friendly and fast.
Prescriptions were called in at 2:00 p.m. and after 7:00 theyre still working on them.Lack of management team.
This CVS came to the rescue during Winter Storm Helena. I needed to pick up a $$$ moneygram, and they were the only ones willing to do it. Thumbs up to the manager and team member that helped me!
The fact that the pharmacy closes early on Saturday nights is ABSURD!!
I really only go here for the pharmacy but the staff overall in the entire store try to be friendly and helpful. The pharmacy may seem a bit chaotic, slow, or unorganized at times. The multi-lane drive through is a real convenience though. They got bathrooms too if you need to go while you wait, and those are clean most of the time.
First time visiting this particular CVS. Clean. Helpful customer service. Across the board I like CVS and CVS is ok if you have the money to spend (i.e. - blow) and cant go somewhere else or you can take advantage of the REWARDS program for the items you like. However, If you are Jane of Jack Doe on a limited income, dont bother. Comparatively, youre better off going to Walmart or Target for the value. Just my opinion.
Insanely slow lines.
This use to be my favorite pharmacy. Staff was great and always in stock. Lately I am beyond disappointed. Pharmacy staff left me on hold because they lost my daughters prescription. Hung up on me and claimed it was unintentional. I was able to get dress, drive to cvs and walk into the pharmacy and the still had not checked back with me. Claiming the just found it.That was 1. 2. Was this evening during a little inclement weather...I called to for stock status before driving over. Now they refuse to let people know if medication is in stock before visiting. Stating it is the pharmacist discretion. BS. Call another CVS with no problem. It is not CVS I have a problem with, it is the one on warwick. I am done with this location.
I took my children to the minute clinic for last minute immunizations. The nurse was excellent. She got us in and out.
It’s ok. Sometimes you’re in and out pretty quick, other times it takes awhile depending on how many people they have on staff.
Very friendly workers very cordial and dont have a problem assisting you. Usually go at around 10-12 AM. I only had one problem
I love CVS! Just a short visit from my hotel. Nice and big, very convenient!
Switched from CVS-Denbigh. This staff is much more friendlier, patient and helpful. Thank You!
Always have to wait a long time for prescriptions. Even when they are sent in from doctor. This place is a joke.way understaffed.
Very friendly staff. Great deals with the ExtraCare program.
Love the pharmacist there
Horrible customer service.. rude.. unprofessional... Went down hill bad
Pharmacy staff needs improvement..
Went to get flu shot. One person ahead of me. After waiting 30 minutes and the person in front of me had yet to be waited on, I left. I guess I should have paid attention to the sign when it said I had an 86 minute wait.
Quick pharmacy !
Very polite and helpful!
Rude pharmacy staff
Phones are never working
