Went to go shopping for stuff for my husband and I. After hearing decent things about the love shack, I drove out there (which was very out of the way), to find that while the internet hours and the hours posted in the window say open, there was a hand written note in the window that said Be Back @ 1100... I showed up at 1130. Sat for 15 min, and still the door stayed locked. What a waste of time.

Usually I go to spencers but because it was closer I went to this location the lady at the front counter was very unwelcoming I felt like I was being watched the entire timeAnd even though I had questions about some of the items I did not ask because she looked so bothered ... never again

Unfriendly, cramped, not well lit, and not a nice area. I used to like coming here years ago when I lived on this side of the water.

Staff needs to learn how to be vigilant without making people feel uncomfortable. Watching people directly, body language can definitely turn off customers. I had planned to buy a few gifts but instead felt like I was being watched like a hawk. As a business owner, I teach my employees how to observe without making a customer feel disrespected. Never coming back.

Was very embarrassing to go to a store that sold intimate items. My relationship was in need of a make over, doing some research into how I could keep my relationship fresh, exciting, and intimate. I walk into the Love Shack.The staff was very welcoming, attentive as well as knowledgeable. Needless to say they knew exactly what I needed .

Horrendous terrible attitude from cashier who stated she worked there for 13 years. I was never assisted with help. I politely asked a question and was still met with an nasty attitude. They charged my card twice. SCAM LIKELY. They will double charge your credit card. Disregard this store.

Perhaps its socially odd and revealing to write a review for here, but all of the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. I know youll probably feel timid talking about your personal life with strangers in such an environment, but theyre truly there to help give tips and suggest products. Just open up and be honest if you want to leave knowing you got just what you went in for.

Everyone is very nice and friendly and helped me get exactly what I was looking for! I forgot one thing and came back 15 minutes later to get it and that item wouldve put me over the price limit to get a free item as specified by the sign. They remembered me and got me the deal. This makes me feel at home and I really appreciate everything they do! Will definitely return for anything else I need! 100% recommend!!

Got here about 14 minutes before closing time. Two women were working. The one we spoke with was very friendly. I came for a particular item, quickly found it and bought it.Prices were about what I expected. Pricier than what you can find items for online, but not completely outrageous. All in all, good productive stop.

Old school sex store. No frills and straight to the point. Limited inventory. Staff is very polite. Opens late on occasion and very little staff. Best to come later in the evening. The store does close for lunch because it’s usually one employee working.The store is very small, so, I’m not surprised as to why people think the cashier is looking at them. The toys are towards the back by the cash register. Priscilla’s in Denbigh asks for an ID as well and tests the toys prior to purchase. Seems like there a few prudent folks going to a sex store. It’s not Walmart. Wash the toy before use. That’s common sense. This store isn’t for minors. Some stores check ID when purchasing with a debit or credit card. Not sure why people think it’s unusual.The three stars is for the store closing and opening late. Even during lunch the store may be closed. That’s bad for business. That’s the only time some of us can sneak away to purchase our goodies:)

Rated a minimum of three for previous visits but today being Sunday and a sign saying they close at 8 p.m. I got there around 6:30 p.m. and the doors were already locked and they were gone. No idea of this is a one-time thing but if not they need to update their sign

Loved this place

The staff was friendly, but there are 2 major reasons this place is getting 1 star. 1) the prices are crazy high...compare anything in there to what you get on Amazon, and youll realize its a rip-off. Second, I was deeply disturbed that the cashier had to open my package, to battery test the item which was to be touching genetalia later. I almost stopped the transaction and walked out. Cashier didnt offer to let US (wife and I) test the item in front of her. She just said she was going to do it and opened it and put her bare hands all over it. Very displeased. Will not return to shop there.

As one poster commented, I was uncomfortably watched a few days ago. As soon as I walked in a man came out from the back and a few feet away from me watching every move I made. Even though I was within sight of the cashier. Needless to say it made an awkward situation worse. I left. Its hard to pick out intimate items with someone watching over your shoulder.

Novelty store with many perks! Adults only!

The love shack sucks. We pull up to this small grimy little hole in the wall. Their 40 year old hobbitt manager glares at u like a sicko and has no manners. Theirs no cleanliness, privacy or manners. Dont go here. Ps the manager sux.

This store has many different items. The only thing I did not like is that I was just there to look and I was asked for my ID. Also I was being watched hard. It is very hard to shop or look around when being hounded like prey. Not everyone steals. It is sad. I am assuming it was bc my hair was messy and I was wearing sweats and a T-shirt. Judging is horrible! Oh and two other ladies walked in 4 mins after me and they were not asked for ID. They looked the same age as me, 29. Yall were so busy watching me that you didnt hear their conversation like I did when they were talking about shop lifing.I came in 4 days ago well dressed and guess what, I was not asked for my ID. Smh.Stop JUDGING !
