I had a package delivered here. When I tried to pick it up they stated the person in charge was on vacation, come back on Monday. I callked Monday to be sure i could get my package and was told the person in that area would be in to work in an hour. When I arrived I was told they no longer did wish shipments and all packages were returned on Friday. When I tried to explain that I had been told I could pick up my package i was told they would be ending service tomorrow, the woman hung up on me! Lousy business.Lies. Lies. Lies. Id like to hear those recordings. On 7/29 when I called from their parking lot, I was told the person who handled Wish deliveries was on vacation and would return on Monday. When i expressed concern that my package would be sent back, the woman assured me they would not do that. When I called today to be sure i could pick up my Wish package, the man on the phone was difficult to understand. He did not speak clear English. He informed me that the person in charge of Wish would be in in about an hour. We spoke at 11:27 AM. He spoke about ending Wish service tomorrow but little else could be deciphered from what he said. When I arrived, I spoke with the same woman I spoke with on the 29th. She informed me that they no longer took Wish deliveries and had returned all packages to Wish on Friday. When I tried to explain the previous conversations I had with their company, she hung up. I called back. No answer. I called later and asked to speak with the manager. I was transferred but no one picked up and despite instructions to leave a message no message service was available. I called back and confronted the woman. She denied hanging up on me. She had transferred my call but the manager did not pick up. She further stated that she didnt have to listen to my complaints and hung up. As to why I couldnt have my package on the 29th, that wasnt her job. She then hung up on me again! I would never do business with these people.

Don’t use Guild Ventures in Newport News, VA! Showed up Saturday morning at 10:00 to pick up a confirmed 10:00 rental and no one was there! Signage says it opens at 9:00, U-haul says they open at 9:30. No answer on their posted number. Now having to drive an additional 2 hours to pick up at a different U-haul.
