While traveling home from Alabama to michigan my brakes went out completely stranding me in the parking lot of advanced. Shelby Herald was a god send with her assistance, knowledge, and willingness to help. While her male Co worker was very curt, rude, and unwilling to assist us. Including denied us to use the tools we needed to get back on the road safely!!!!! Contrary to the big sign posted on the windows that say loaner tools available!!! So somebody in administration at advanced corporate needs to pay attention to both of these workers for exact opposiite reasons!!

So I came in yesterday and the gentleman I dealt with was very friendly I was helping my friend who is Russian and dont understand most English. So we ordered two parts and they were to be there today and we went today 3 hours after we were promised when the parts would be there and all he got told was no the parts arent here. Very unprofessional and very non customer service of them so since we had already ran up a 45 dollar taxi bill we went to OReilly in Covington and they not only beat the price but had both items in stock never again will I shop here for anything in my life

I experienced an issue with incorrectly installed spark plugs from a mechanic and placed an online Advance Auto Parts order to replace the plugs myself. I have no experience working on cars, but spoke with an employee, Shelby, who was INCREDIBLY helpful and helped ease my apprehension towards changing the plugs myself. I was extremely frantic and upset after my car malfunctioning due to the poorly installed plugs. Shelby went above and beyond to prepare all the items I needed and provide helpful information. She really did improve my mood and instill confidence in my ability to change the plugs independently. Cannot thank her enough!

If I could leave 0 stars I would!!! The dark haired guy in the morning with the dark beard was slow and useless couldnt even find the battery I wish I never spent 200 bucks here they didnt deserve it. He acted like I was a complete inconvenience. Ill never go here again!!

Terrible customer serviceI went in to the Newport store to have check engine code read. One staff at counter. 2 customers waiting. The phone rings he leaves the counter and takes phone call. 2nd staff member comes out and waits on a 3rd customer that just walked in. 1st staff comes out and is on phone. Not waiting on customers ready to purchase.

I had a job interview here at this place the manger never called me back after asking me to put in app on their maine page. So I did. I still not gotten a call back so i called the manager Ted he told me that they are on a hiring freeze and that they cant hire any body at all.... well some one I know called and asked bout a job they was hiring for driver and sales person for night witch I wanted mornings but I understand he needed for nights but could least let me know instead leave people hanging.

The price of my starter was wrong on the website...cost me about THREE TIMES the price!! VERY DISAPPOINTED! Plus, they thought it was funny, evidently its that way for most of their parts ...only redeemable thing was that it works & was the right part. 🤐

Awesome service even helped me replace headlight bulb and a intake hose on my engine. Very nice and better help then Auto zone in Newport ky.

Employees are very helpful. Came in with dead alternator and battery. Nikki helped me jump the car, tested the alternator, got me the necessary tools and even helped change it. Great group of employees there.

I always buy on line. Buying on line through advanced is the best way to shop for me. If the other place in town doesnt have it, this place will. I have bought BMW parts at this location and the parts have fit well.

The service was awesome. I bought a battery via phone, then they came and installed it. I didnt have to bother a friend to pick me up and drive me around to get the battery. How awesome is that?

Had a busted firing on the cooling system. They helped find a work around. And let me use there tools! Great staff

Im ordered parts from website to pick up in store. ( Rear brakes) the person who they were ordered for couldnt get to store, and 2 weeks after paid order, I drove the 45 miles to be told they have been kicked out of system . And no more in stock. ..no documentation, no concern or CS help from either employee, other than to tell me that cant track anything taken out of system. I attempted to purchase parts I ordered in person, told only 20$ higher parts available. ..while I cant verify any thing right now, I havent found an email, or phone call to document them restocking parts. But will be following up with my bank and upper management. Since I ordered from website. ..thanks for nothing Advance.

I went there for a car battery today and the employee was extremely pleasant and helpful! He was extremely honest on pricing. He asked if I wanted an extra year on the warranty for $10 more with a different battery rather than just up-selling the more expensive model. My car battery was extremely corroded and, for a place with free installation, I think this would be frustrating because of the extra work to install. He was helpful and did not care one bit about the corrosion. He even sprayed on a corrosion deterrent after installing so that it would not happen again! Within 20 minutes I was out of the door. Would definitely recommend!

Your Covington. store stinks they do not want to help you at all they act like they are doing you a favor ti wait on you Went to the newport store and they could not have been nicer they was right there ready to wait. on me will never go back to the Covington stone again
