I fill my propane at Newport Propane with no problem for 2 years. I went here and the employee was spraying propane all over the place and blaming it on my motorhome seals.. I told him something was wrong and to stop. He still charged me for 17 gallons and 2 days later after cooking on my stove I was out of gas. I went back and he told me to legally refund me I need to call corporate offices, waited hrs on hold and corporate finally told them to refund me. It has been 72 hrs since corporate offices told them to find my receipt and issue me a full refund and still no refund they can not find the receipt. Im told to wait more. I went back to Newport Propane and filled my tank without a problem no leak. I would stay clear of this place if you want propane go to Newport Propane. I will call corporate offices back today and try to resolve this. This review will only be removed if issued a refund in the next 24hrs

I am in e process of moving across country and the guys at the Newport store have been amazing. They are always ready to help when I need them and the carry out my purchases to my car. Thanks guys keep up the great work.

I recently ordered a trailer hitch and wire harness from UHAUL to be installed locally in Newport. Ian and JT did a great job taking care of my order and installing it on my Jeep Patriot. Everything I needed and wanted was done professionally without any up-sell or improper behavior. I was given an appointment and everything was completed on time and on schedule. Great job team!

The 1st floor storage area flooded one year due to inclement weather. Within a short time after the storm the staff had cut the locks-off of all the units and were going through customers belongings to repack them with or without the customers permission! They said they needed to check and prevent mold. Sounds good, but if you have valuables in storage do you want U-Haul staff handling your belongings without your permission? Thats exactly what they were doing! I had to fly-up from Florida having been given only a few days notice of U-Hauls intent to enter my unit! If you value privacy regarding your belongings I would not store them at this U-Haul Storage Center! I had rented a truck when I arrived from Florida then emptied my storage unit just in time. The staff had already removed one of the locks on my unit after being warned by my attorney who stated there was nothing in the contract about U-Haul having the right to enter my unit! I then emptied my unit, closed my account, shared some choice words with the staff then drove back to Florida with my belongings! Forget U-Haul Moving & Storage of Newport. They are not good people.

I always use Newport to rent Uhauls, but recently called a few in NK to rent so I could avoid driving over single lane on the bridge. All were rude, unhelpful, not open on Sunday. So... Ill stick with Newport and white knuckle it. Always, quick, helpful and get the job done. Thanks Larry.

Just your every day uhaul store. Rented a big 26ft truck that ran well. Also rented a half ton pick up to tow with and it did the job great.

Lots and lots of trucks to rent clean store, plenty of boxes and moving stuff and.....one guy working. Had to wait one hour even with express check in completed. The guy was completely nice and so sorry for wait but they need more help!

Fast and friendly response on the phone. Betty was knowledgeable and helpful in every way. Great experience.

We have a u box here and we have tried to access it 3 times. We called a couple days in advanced and we got uhaul national who said they would forward the date and time to the office. The first time they retrieved our box, after an hour and a half of waiting despite showing up when I told them I would show up. The second time they refused because they said they never got a note from the u haul answering service. The final time, when they did get the information from the national uhaul answering service they still hadnt moved the u box down and I had to sit there for an hour and a half again because they were busy. It is sickeningly frustrating and a waste of time. Take your business elsewhere. It doesnt deserve a star.

Ive used these guys for trailer hitch installation and two cross-country trailer rentals and they are helpful, pleasant and efficient. Great experience!

Convenient and affordable. They have a huge space but it does get busy and the parking lot is confusing...but way better than pre2016.

I think U Haul workers are always nice and try to help.the best possible. I just think they are starting to get to high on prices. The way they do the gas isnt fair either. I believe they should be filled and when your done you refil. How do u know to go to a line on rhe dash board, if they dont agree theres a penalty.. It has not happened to me because I just make sure i put extra in, but for those who are struggling its hard. I mean its 2017. I think they can come up with better ideas.

Thel experience is good. But the calling center is tedious .Wish each location had their own telephone number as I had an issue and had to make like one thousand calls, and never got resolve.

Rented a uhual from them twice and both times it was an easy experience.

THE LAST ONLY A FEW DAYS AGO TO RESERVE 2 LARGE STORAGE UNITS AT THE NEWPORT RI LOCATION.UPON ARRIVING TO OBTAIN MY RESERVED UNITS:1. THERE WAS ONLY RESERVATION IN SYSTEM, NOT THE TWO I HAD CONFIRMED ONLY A DAY OR TOW AGO2. THERE WERE NO LARGE UNITS AVAILABLE3. THE SPECIFIC SIZE UNITS RESERVED ARE NOT EVEN OFFERED AT THIS LOCATIONCUSTOMER SERVICE WAS ZERO HELP. REFUSED TO CONNECT ME TO A SUPERVISOR.BY THE WAY, WHEN YOU CALL THE LOCAL NUMBER YOU GET UHAUL INTL CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT NEWPORT RI. BUT THEY WILL LIE AND TELL YOU IT IS.I HAVE MOVERS COMING TOMORROW. IM SCREWED.HOW UHAUL CAN STAY IN BUSINESS I DO NOT KNOW. Michelle was so helpful. Misplaced my receipt for uhaul travels (from a different uhaul location) and she was able to find and reprint.
