I was running late to catch a flight out of Charlotte and my A/C quit working on the way on a 91 degree day. I spoke to Ronnie when I called and he said he would get me right in. I was in-and-out in 10 minutes and my AC now feels like a refrigerator. Thats what I call service. Thanks so much guys!Also, when you see a GM thats humble enough to sweep the floors, its a good sign youve found a place with quality management and leadership.

Everyone was pretty nice. They have a nice lounge to sit in while they do your maintenance. The race cars in the showroom are pretty awesome. I only gave it 4 stars because the TV was showing a tv show rating catamarans and luxury real estate. Im not saying they needed to show nascar all day but i wouldve settled for judge judy.

On a trip to the mountains, and wanted to stop by on my own to check out the facility. The salesmen were outside moving vehicles around the lot at the time I stopped in. The person who I talked to was nice, and was not pushing me to get a vehicle. Instead we had a good talk, and afterwards I walked the lot. It is just like any other dealership with a service department, parts department, vehicle sales department, but with the connection to a great NASCAR driver who I would have liked to met before his passing. Enjoyed the visit. :-)

So I bought a used suburban from them and I have had a few bumps and one issue with the suv until recently. They fixed my lift gate issue without any fuss. They sell used cars with a 90day 3000mile warranty and I’m sure most would never use this, but I have to because the transmission is jerking and may have other issues. I will update with that experience soon.

Customer service was great! But after my oil change and tire rotation, I have been smelling oil through my vents and my tires weren’t the same air pressure and after visiting my tire went flat because it had a screw in it. Not saying that it couldn’t have happened anywhere else but coincidentally happened right after my appointment. I will be back because all of this could be circumstantial and I’ve always had good service from them but this time was less than satisfactory.

My husband and I bought a Silverado here in 2012. I told my husband then that when it was my time to purchase a new vehicle I hoped Chevy had something I liked because I wanted to buy from Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet! Their staff is so friendly and I love their customer service! As a woman I hate having to sit, on a Saturday morning, to get my car serviced. At Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet I dont have to! Since I work in Catawba County, they will come pick up my car, service it for me, and bring it back to me!Plus they gave us a very good offer and I love it!

Bought a 13 Chevy Cruze 2 weeks ago. Great experience from everyone at the dealership. I was treated like family and buying process was very easy. Just had the pleasure of purchasing a Chevy traverse from Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. Had the opportunity to work with two of the most professional gentlemen.Corey Hitchcock Business manager happened to do a follow up call with me just After we had a baby. He spoke to me a couple of times before and I informed him that we were looking for something a little bit larger to accommodate a larger family. So needless to say his follow up was perfect we just had a baby the day before and we were in need of a larger vehicle quickly.Not much later Corey had show me the vehicle that we had been looking for. one had just come on his lot and he wanted to give me a heads up.After agreeing to come and view the vehicle I had an opportunity to start working with Steve Gelnett who is actually the Sales Manager. And explained to Steve that we just had a baby literally and we were still at the hospital so I would like to try to negotiate as much as possible before I came to his lot. He was extremely helpful and very fair. He understood that my needs of negotiation were not the norm, but that didn’t stop him from helping me to get into the vehicle that we needed very quickly and stress free especially due to the circumstance.By the time that everything was done we had a new vehicle that I was driving to the hospital to pick up a newborn baby and my wife in time before we were allowed to leave. We literally made it all happen in about a (2) hour window which included drive time so I could get back in time to pick up my family from the hospital. I’ll be buying my next vehicle here as well I’ll probably never go anywhere else at this point as long as these two are still here.Thanks guys for helping my family and myself to get into a quality family car in a hurry with little to no stress!

Just purchased a 2011 Honda Pilot from Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet and the salesman John there. The car was waiting out front for me to view when I arrived....completely cleaned. Entire process was VERY easy, I definitely called ahead to make sure vehicle was still available. Negotiation took about 5 minutes...and they gave me a very fair and honest price. DE Chevy did phenomenal job of servicing vehicle to sell...and love their service pick-up program. Overall, one of my best, if not the best car-buying experience ive had in the past 10 years. Strongly recommend Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. A little drive (45 min) from where i live in Huntersville....but you will be treated fairly and like youre important to them.

My wife and I recently purchased a 2007 Suzuki XL7 at Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. Rusty was our sales associate and the purchase went extremely well. I have purchased many new and used cars throughout my life (always though a dealer) and I have to say that this purchase experience topped all the others. Rusty is a fine gentleman with a southern charm and very professional in what he does. We were never pressured into the deal and yet he always had a good answer to each of our questions. The sale was closed very quickly, and we were off with our XL7 in no time at all. On the second day of ownership an ABS/Traction Control light came up on the dash. I called Rusty and he did not hesitate to ask us to bring the car in for the dealership mechanics to look at. They discovered the cause of the issue, replaced a sensor (at no charge), and we were on our way.I would say that the way business is done at Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in Newton, NC is old-school. Rusty showed us great honor and professional courtesy throughout the entire purchase process. I wish you could give more than 5 stars. I have never had a dealership treat me the way this one has. I purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Rusty. I can not say enough good things about Rusty he was great. The finance manger was great he got me a great interest rate on my loan and got my payments where I needed them to be. The dealership made me valued customer. The day I purchased the vehicle they gave a small cooler bag with two coffee cups and some t-shirts. Yesterday I received some cookies from them in a nice metal container that has the name of the dealership on it. Dale Earnhardt Chevy went above and beyond my expectations. Took my car in many times to get things fixed but they alway come up with some excuse on why they cannot fix it until the warranty runs out. I had a squeak or a rattle in my car they did not act like they wanted to bother with it but charge me $68 an hour so I took it somewhere else and the guy didn’t charge me anything to look at it and tell me what the problem was.

I was very reluctant to buy a new car, but after talking with the DEC mechanics I knew that my previous vehicle was not worth repairing. I was guided through several options for new vehicles (new and used, including the recent deals offered from Chevrolet), test drove more than I thought I would, and offered a very fair price for my old vehicle. I was given every piece of information I needed and then left alone to make my decision, which was great. All of the people I worked with were awesome...extremely patient with someone who was not ready to take this leap in the first place. A great experience overall!

I have experienced numerous occasions within the the last few months that are cause for celebration regarding the customer, business relationship at Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in Newton, NC. Since I cant write about all of them I would like to share my most recent experience with a Master Corvette Technician by the name of Corey Williams, pictured above. Dont let those modest little wrenches fool you, his brain is wired like a computer. I went to visit him in the middle of installing an Edelbrock supercharger into my Corvette. His work area is covered with certificates of learnings and achievements of the highest order. When the job was done he reviewed the power and torque curves and gave me the necessary pointers to extend my life through the learning period of this new car. The speedometer might as well read mach 1 through mach 3. Anyway, I am being very careful.The work was flawless and the result was way beyond my expectations. And the beauty of all of this is that the work was done by the dealership where I purchased the Corvette. Now that is a complete organization serving all the past, present and future needs of its customers, WOW!When I went into the service department, I asked the service manager, Ronnie Freeze, if I could increase the horsepower of my Corvette. He simply said, Well, how much horsepower do you want?. There seems to be no limit to what this dealership can do to get you excited... its like a family of people that really care about you.I am so pleased to be a preferred customer at Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in Newton, NC.

I went into the dealership to get a key fob battery replaced. With our car it has to be programmed after the battery is replaced. I checked in with Kevin and was in and out within 20 minutes. The cost was NOT outrageous! I will definitely bring my vehicles back here when I need them serviced. We had to have the 1st key fob replaced and used a different Chevy dealership in Hickory and it took this 3 days and a rental car. KEVIN you rock!!

I took my car to them to get some bodywork done because I had heard a lot of good things about the quality of their work and how they used to guarantee their work in the past. The former still holds today, at least in this case, but not the latter. I noticed a problem arise, with the front left wheel speed sensor, on the way to work the afternoon after I got my car back. Insurance wont cover the cost of repair because no problems with the suspension system were noted in the claim and Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet wont admit to any wrongdoing, even though it was never an issue before or after the collision that caused me need to take it to them in the first place. It was only after the work was done that the sensor problem began. It would be nice if they stood behind their work like they used to, but I guess thats too much to ask for these days.

My wife let our teen age daughter drive and she damaged a tire on the shoulder of the road. We had the car towed to the dealership after a 35 min phone call with roadside assistance. The service manager set us up with a rental while they ordered a tire to match the set on the car.The shipper sent the wrong tire and it set back the repair by a day and due to schedules we couldnt pick up the car the evening it was ready but we were allowed to keep the rental until the next morning when we were able to pick up our car. The service department was great as usual and we are extremely happy with our outcome.

I was disappointed the work on the car was okay, but when I picked the car up the window was partly down and it had rained in the car this was due to the battery being disconnected and the windows have to be reset also the clock but I have not be able to reset the clock? I did not realize this until I got down the road and thankful I had covers on the seats and began to feel the wetness!

Took 3 months to repair 4,000 worth of damage to right side doors and rest corner panrl. Could better communicate with customer and should do a final inspection on vehicle when they call you to pick it up. After months of waiting I got the call to pick it upThe door was crooked and the bottom panel was not secure with clips very visible. Something a final inspection on their part would have caught not leaving it for me to tell them to fix again after waiting for 3 months. Dissatisfied on service, commination and customer support.

Very nice staff but the garage is clueless. They cant cut a key properly or program a key fob. Also they wanted double the price of other gm dealers to do those tasks. Makes me wonder how disappointing their other services are(EDIT: they have also lied in their reply to my comment stating i did not have the car there. How could i expect a key and program a key fob without the car? Haha. Granted you didnt charge me but now i have a worthless key and bad opinion)

There was some difficulty in getting my vehicle shipped to me from SC, but the sales staff stayed on top of the problem and did all they could. A unexpected mechanical issue never happens at a good time. Earnhardt Chevrolet makes the most of a bad situation. Setting up a loaner car and fixing the issue in a timely manner was not a problem . Although this is a repeat issue, it is not through any fault of the dealership. They understand our frustration and fix it in a timely manner.
