Needed work done and even left a note on the door. Havent heard anything. No one answers the phone. For all the good things Ive heard I cant say I had the same experience

Used to love this place, until got charged for services we never asked to be done. No phone call no nothing just did more work than was agreed upon and Im talking hundreds! So be careful! I personally will never go back & its so sad cause at one time I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I am a traveling contractor. While completing a job in Newsome, NC, a brake pad fail on my truck. On a Friday afternoon i was able to drop my truck off and have the brakes repaired properly with QUALITY parts. I was back on the road in 2 hours with curiosity and professionalism i was i could find everywhere. They also didnt try to price gouge. I and my team would just like to say thanks again.

My Ford Focus needed work that included tires and an oil change. I was on a strict time schedule because I had to leave town. While there, Jimmy found the problem that had plagued me for months unknowingly. My car shimmied, shook and made a rattling noise when hitting a certain speed. An axle apparently was ready to be thrown because a clamp had been missing, for who knows how long. He was able to fix my car, change the oil and put 4 new tires on in less than 24 hours at a price MUCH better than I could get anywhere else. I can’t thank Jimmy Newsome and his crew enough for great professionalism, punctuality and the finest quality of work. I will drive 102 miles again in order to use them for service on my car.

My family and I have taken our vehicles to Newsomes for over 30 years. Jimmy and his staff are always friendly, courteous, and fair. My recent visit was to have new brakes and rotors put on my car. It was ok.although they couldnt help me with my situation.

I took my jeep in to find out why it was having trouble starting. They told me it was the cam shaft. THEY WERE WRONG! I also paid a lot to get any leaks stopped. Instead of fixing the leaking problems I was ripped off. They did not fix or stop any leaking. I will no longer take my car there to be fixed. I would not recommend them!

I recently had 4 new tires and an alignment done at Newsome, after a recommendation from my father-in-law who is very particular about who works on his baby. I now understand why myself! They were fast, friendly very reasonably priced and went above and beyond. Heres why: I left there and thought I heard my car making a clunking noise. Mr Newsome himself came to where I was because he didnt want me to drive if my car was unsafe. It turned out to be something rolling around in my trunk but he wanted to make sure. I was so impressed! And my car is driving more smoothly than it has since I bought it (even after new tires and alignments at another facility or when I bought it!) Will definitely be back!

Plain and simple: Jimmy Newsome and his team are, imo, the best tire ship for miles around. Jimmy was extremely kind to my elderly Mom when she was alive and still driving. Hes been really good to me since Ive returned tho Newton.Tire prices here are reasonable.

I had a very poor experience today at newsomes tire and auto, while trying to get my car fixed. I used to take all of my cars there but I have been experiencing a steady decline in customer service. I was charged $280 to fix my car. I am experiencing the same problem as I was before. There were no offers to refund any of my money and was told that I would be charged for 100% of parts and labor on whatever else they find is wrong. Very dissatisfied with the service provided and I will never let them touch my vehicles ever again. I will also make sure that anyone that I know will never take another vehicle there again.

I was in Newton attending a class for work. On my way to the class driving from Morganton I had a badly vibrating tire. Went here on my lunch break and found I had a tire almost ready to blowout. Had a new tire on in less than 30 minutes. Great price. Courteous, friendly staff.

I have never got work done there but my Mom has. Jimmy Newsome always treats my mom well when she gets her car worked there. If someone we know has problems with there car we recommend Newsomes to them.

Needed new tires for my recently purchased 2002 Chevy 2500hd and Newsome gave me a great deal on firestones. They did an outstanding job with quick turn around. They also gave me some recommendations for future service, but I never felt they were pushy or trying to upsale me. I know my way around cars and everything they said was 100% legit. I left happy to know that there is at least one garage left that just wants to do honest work for honest pay. Definitely recommend and I will definitely be back.
