Amazing experience here! I had a flat tire and they were closing but the gentleman was so kind as to patch it for me anyway! You don’t come across nice people that aren’t trying to rip you off often! So thank you for patching my tire and not telling I needed a new one like a different gas station up the street!

The absolute best garage Ive ever been to by far. It is a family run business, and Phil and Pete are always so helpful and such incredibly nice people. They are honest, and really take the time to explain things. They have gone above and beyond every time I have brought my car in over the past several years. You really dont meet too many exceptional individuals like Phil and Pete and if your car can be fixed, they will find a way to do it. I am so glad I discovered this place. I would never go anywhere else.

I have been filling gas at this same gas station for the last 14 years and never had a problem. Today, I pulled in there, and the attendant came over with a very sullen face and told me sternly never to drive in the way I had again, because he wanted to live! I was completely taken aback, because I had driven in slowly and smoothly, but because I have metal studded winter tires they make a harsh noise on the concrete. I told him I did not appreciate being talked to that way but that I understood he was startled by my winter tires. He proceeded to let off profanities asking me to leave, and I promptly did! I have never been so unnerved as by such a blatant, racist attitude. Please avoid this location at all costs!

I am very fussy about my car and my mechanic. Newtonville Gas and Repair is fantastic. Phil,who runs the shop, is professional, very knowledgeable, calm, honest and reliable. Everything you want and need in a mechanic and a auto repair shop.

Been going here for several years and continue to be impressed by the quality work they do and how honest and friendly they are. Have been meaning to write a review sooner. Props to this family run business. Highly highly recommend!

Phill and other workers there provide the best service for my car!

The man who works here is the most incredibly rude person I have ever met. Not being from the area, I didn’t realize it was full service station. I pulled up and got out to fill up my tank and the man yells at me. I apologized and got in the car and gave him the card, and he got more angry at me for already putting my card in. He then had the nerve to call ME rude and I told him I would gladly go somewhere else. I have truly never experienced such horrible customer service. Fill up your tank literally anywhere else in Newton, this place is NOT worth it.

Great mechanic, the two brothers who own it are honest and fix what needs to be done in a timely and professional manner. I go to them for just about everything. Way cheaper than the dealer, too!

Five stars are not enough for this business! They went above and beyond to help my daughter with her car, gave excellent advice and didnt expect a dime for the time they gave us!
