While helping my mom get hearing aids, I met with a number of hearing aid companies. We finally chose Enhanced Auditory Resources because their staff were the most skilled in getting hearing aids that worked well for my mom, and they offered the best terms as well. Recently, moms hearing aids stopped working and Enhanced Auditory fixed them free under my moms insurance, while other hearing aid companies charge a co-fee. I also feel that Enhanced Auditory specialists are more sincere about actually helping clients than are other companies I met.

I rely heavily on reviews myself. Based on the reviews for this provider, I chose them. My experience was entirely consistent with the others. This is an outstanding company. I would highly recommend them. I will certainly use them in the future. I had brought my mother in to see if her Starkey hearing aids which she had purchased elsewhere could be altered and fixed. Joe made a significant difference. The hearing aids fit my mother very well now. On another note, the patient coordinator who I believe is named Jenny, is wonderful. I look forward to a long-term relationship with this company.

Although I no longer live in Newton I am still coming to EAR. The professional and the support personnel combine knowledge of the field with offering personal attention The hours were too limited during the height of Covid, but are now more available

Outstanding service. EAR repaired one hearing aid and cleaned two. In addition, they gave me a free package of batteries new domes and tools to replace the wax guards. Joe Greaney was competent and pleasant to deal with. What more could one ask for.

Ear in newton is very easy to book appointments and appointments have always been on time.joe the audiologist is more than capable and is/was able to achieve solutions to every issue that i have presented.the most difficult part of my recent ear appointment was dealing with some snowy icy roads on my trip back home.

Scheduling an appointment is quick and easy, the office is clean and inviting, they are observing strict Covid guidelines and the service is efficient and very professional. I accompanied my mom to the visit. We both had a wonderful experience. The front desk person was very courteous and helpful. The Audiologist, could not have been more patient and helpful. She spent so much time with my mom checking her hearing and adjusting her hearing device that I even had a thought that loosing hearing could be sometimes not so painful experience.My mom will be able to enjoy listening to music again.I would recommend Newton office to anyone.

She brings a balance of medical understanding of hearing loss along with strong technical knowledge and expertise about current technology.But the best thing about EAR and Dr, Flanagan is their ability to partner with you as you adjust to the new normal of needing new hearing aids or trying to find the best fit as you experience continuing erosion of your hearing. Miranda has been with me each step of the way as I get accustomed to my new aids. No question is unanswered and the overall supportive office environment helps as well.

Service is wonderful! Jen goes above and beyond to help and to make sure my hearing aids are working properly. I know that there are many places to buy hearing aids but nowhere else provides such caring and thoughtful support. Ive been through several different doctors and audiologists at EAR over the years, but Jen is always there to cheerfully greet me and make sure my devices are working to my satisfaction.

After my third free hearing test in 6 years, the diagnosis that I needed hearing aids was clearly established. The exam charts, professionally interpreted, graphically showed progressive hearing loss. Over the follwing thirty day period, hearing aids were very carefully tested and adjusted by well-trained staff.Improvement in my hearing was dramatic, especially at theater and classical music events. I am very pleased with the excellent attention and service provided.

2*****Thats five stars squared! No-one wants to be told that they need hearing aids,but the professionalism of everyone in the practice made for a very gentle landing. After a long period of my wife encouraging me to have a hearing test, I finally had it done. Then EAR fit my schedule and fitted me with two wonderful devices. As I am typing this, I am able to hear the clicks of the keyboard that I had never noticed before. I can hear activity in the downstairs kitchen while I am in the den. Im able to lower the volume of the sports babble on the radio to a point where it is not disturbing the family- kind of like a private broadcast. Yesterday, while driving, I heard an approaching ambulance before my wife did. She didnt get to say, can you hear that ambulance? I can not imagine a better place to go for hearing help than Enhanced Auditory Resources.Five stars squared!

I have had such a wonderful experience both times that I have been there. The front desk person was so courteous and helpful and solved my problems without having to go to the audiologist. The one time I went to the audiologist, se could not have been more patient and helpful. She spent so much time with me to tweak the hearing range that I wanted in my hearing aids. Outstanding customer service and very friendly staff. My mother-in-law recently moved to the area from CT and her hearing aids werent working. My wife and I were unfamiliar with how they worked. We found EAR on the Starkey website as Preferred Professional and scheduled a visit. So glad we did as the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. They cleaned the units, put in new batteries, and tested them. Dr Flanagan then took time to explain all aspects on use and care. Absolutely five star service !

I originally went to Enhanced Auditory Resources in Newton in 2009. Since that time, I have had 2 sets of hearing aides. I have spoken to Jen many times on the phone as well as in the office. I am a novice at wearing hearing aids. Dr. Flannagan was very methodical, thorough, and helpful. I was impressed with the equipment which could measure the sound I was hearing while she set the hearing aids. These hearing aids automatically adjust to the sound level... She carefully choses the right size tip . I was immediately able to wear the aids.

Both Jennifer Sherrod, the patient care coordinator, and Dr. Alissa Hench, the audiologist are true representatives of what patient care and excellence are all about. Anyone in the medical field should ascribe to the values and customer service that both of these professionals exhibit. What a service! Jenn was so-so helpful. We were visiting Needham-Newton area when my Dads hearing aid stopped functioning and expecting to look for a replacement. So we looked up Enhanced Auditory Resources as it had the best reviews. As we walked thru the front door Jenn was so welcoming. She looked at my fathers hearing aid took it down the back and returned it fixed within 10 minutes. Gave us tips how to maintain the hearing aid and to make the batteries last longer. Im very disappointed in the quality of the product. Ive had to send the aids back twice already, and the loaner pair Ive been given are even worse than my faulty hearing aids. They try hard, but the product, and its software, are poor.

I needed to have service on one of my hearing aids. I walked in the office and they fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes. I cant say enough about the great service and people who work here. Every experience has been a very positive one.

Because of a family history of hearing loss, I knew it was inevitable that I would need hearing aids sooner or later, but put it off because of the negative image I had of hearing aid wearers and what I had heard about them. My good wife finally convinced me that I had to do something! So, I sought a place nearby, figuring the auditory offices must all be similar. But what a surprise to find professionalism, excellent service, and kindness.The prescribed hearing aids have helped beyond my expectations. Dr. Alissa Hench and Dr. Bozeman before her, make the exam comfortable and explain results in understandable language; Jennifer Sherrod, the patient care coordinator, helps to make the experience comfortable and helps with supplies and follow-ups, assures that instructions are understood, and creates a pleasant environment.
