Small but purposeful. You make you purchase but dont receive your liquor until you leave the building and exiting in your vehicle. to the U.S.. If you are purchasing alcohol for consumption while in Canada, they wont allow you to do so here. Clean and fairly price collection of duty free items. The parking area also offers a great view of the Nigara Falls and great for nights when the light are on at the falls.

Tax free store and have several interesting things in stock. They have a big selection of alcoholic contents. Affordable as well. The only thing that people need to know before coming in this store is that you cant purchase anything unless youre leaving Canada and Entering United States. You purchase your goods and theyll give a redemption number on your receipt for pickup of your goods at a small pickup window outside of the store if your traveling through car.

OK is undeniable that this place has good prices. But this is NOT why Im posting thiswe have the best experience with Nancy. She greet us from the beginning, feeling welcomeNancy help us Decide on our struggle to pick what kind of ice wine we were going to buy for my wife. She made our decision Super easy with some samples and Knowledge About the ice wine. And our way out I decide to treat myself with one of the biggest tequila bottles I ever seen. Its okay. Lots of options for alcohol. I was super excited about the Bus Light Apple (even though it was disappointing). I was disappointed in the selection of Canada merchandise. They have a full blown makeup/perfume shopping section which didnt make much sense. Lots of good snacks to choose from. I was happy to get some Canadian maple syrup.I didnt like how once you leave, youre routed right to the border. Maybe we didnt get the memo.

Are you Canadian? Do you want to buy duty-free goods while not at an airport? This place pretty much solves ALL your issues. Contains a huge selection of reasonably-priced wine, spirits, tobacco, chocolate, maple syrup and gift items. Pickup procedure is a little odd (be sure you ask before you buy so you fully understand how this works).

I bought two cases of beer and saved about $6.00 per case when you factor in no sales tax and no deposit. They push hard to get you to pay with US cash. They were offering 25% exchange. I quick Google check showed the current rate is 33%. Pay with your credit card to get the best exchange, even with a small bank fee.The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They loaded the beer into the car for me.

Review №17

I always stop here to but my Molson triple X beer which is not available in the US. Pretty good prices and they have samples of some of the liquor and candy if you ask. One downfall of this place is that you have to block the only exit from the parking lot to pick up your liquor on the way to the US, so if someone wants to exit the parking lot they have to wait for you to load. This last time I had 2 cars blocked and they did not like it and kept honking at me while loading like I had a way of getting out of there way.

Nothing to buy here. Just a few things to see. I feel this hyped up place doesnt offer anything you cant find at the mall or outlet store for even less. It a nice set up of displays and they seem to mostly sell alcohol to the customers. We visit it when we are walking back from Canada after spending the evening in Clifton Hills.

Duty free facility quite nice with good choice of products. My wife and I did notice that the customer service ladies on the floor were not pleasent or professional, at all (spoke to 2 of the 3)...My wife was looking for a specific perfume and we were confirming how to go through customs, etc. They seemed annoyed that we were speaking to them. There was a snow storm... They certainly werent busy.To bad... We just left.

We experienced tHe didnt tell me at the beginning to take things. He told me that you can come back to the US border and get what you bought. My daughter can hear it with me clearly. I will go. Twice, I went back to the US border twice. After returning, there was a male waiter who asked me to go and see me again. Then I can only choose a refund because I really dont want to go to the 1st and 3rd Rainbow Bridge.he worst duty-free shopping experience today. After we bought something at the Niagara Duty Free Shop in Canada, the waiter didnt tell us to take this thing to the US border. I went to the US border twice and went back two times after Rainbow Bridge came back. Tell me that I cant take the things I bought, let me take the things and go again. I am going crazy.

Small duty free shop (at least compared to others Ive visited, with a primary focus being alcohol. You must be traveling to the US via the Rainbow bridge to shop here. The bridge was a bit backed up when we stopped here, and it would have been nice if we could have left back into Canada to kill some time while we waited for the bridge traffic to die down a bit. Overall, the prices seem decent and it was a easy enough experience.

They had a good stuff but did not like their service. Staff not approachable or helpful. Also once u pay u have to drive to the window to pick up the stuff which is fine if u are picking up small things but picking up a crate of beer and few bottles of whiskey is difficult as u have to get down again to put them in your trunk.

Rude & unprofessional MANAGER on January 20th, 2019 evening. Showed her price for an item advertised on their website but really haggled before finally accepting to honour that price. Very mean lady. Spent thousands here but looks like this new manager lady wants to be rude & have some control freak habits that make her perform inferior customer service techniques. No appreciation of customer giving business but more worried about $6.97 that she didnt want to honour although the store has it advertised. Even other duty free shops offer same pricing. But mean as she is she went on the website to change the price right away so I cant buy it after. Thats low level thinking. Again same prices are available at other stores. Overall very distasteful experience. Take your business elsewhere.

Sucks cause can only buy if crossing border?? I understand the tax b.s., but why cant I just buy something and pay the tax and leave back out Canadian side, the way I entered??I understand the concept of the duty free shop, just think should be able to purchase, lets say a fragrance, pay the duty and taxes and stay in Canada? If its a Government Regulation, then its a stupid one.

Very good Duty Free shops on the way to USA. Just remember theres a dedicated parking for this place. You can buy from the huge selection of chocolates, perfumes, liquor or other fantastic items. The preferred way is to buy on your way to US from Canada and collect your items from the pick up window just as you get on the bridge to USA, right behind the Duty Free Shops. You may also purchase and keep your stuff with them and pick it up on the way to USA when you are ready to cross the border.

The entrance and exit for here is horrible designed, so be prepared to fight your way in and out. The cigarettes cost double the normal price, and they arent name brand. The syrup and things are the same price as the other tourist spots around. The only reason to go here would be to purchase liquor. Be aware of the limits you are allowed to bring over, which isnt really that much. Its all more of a headache than its worth.

Good selection and a very cordial staff. Only qualm, perhaps a separate window for exiting pedestrians rather than having to stand in cue behind a vehicle to retrieve purchased items and then escorted to the toll. Possibly its for security reasons, otherwise I recommend the visit and purchasing experience.

Didn’t really get to see much here as greeter staff basically told us to bugger off if we’re not taking our goods to the states. Would have appreciated some decent signage on the front door stating that you have to cross the border to buy anything here. Lady who greeted us was also quite blunt and rude, not even saying hi. Her behaviour here made us walk back out the door, dissatisfied and unimpressed. Would recommend you guys train your staff to have higher customer service standards. This was one of the only places we could find that sold snacks and we couldn’t even buy here since we weren’t going over to the states. Positively, looked like they had a good selection of goods here.

Very Disappointed! Would give 0 stars if I could,The staff misinformed my family and I. I was under the impression that I am able to make a few stops before I leave Canada but that was not the case. When I say no tax I mean it. Theirs employees are very helpful in regards to the allowance policy. After purchasing your items you MUST go to the drive thru window to pickup everything from the store.
