Great little spot we found heading to the airport after leaving Niagara Falls. Service was great; good food and a very homey feeling inside!

This place has been closed for over a year. Business is sold as of Jan 27th, 2021. Wondering why still listed as temporary?

Me and my girlfriend stopped here before heading back home from our trip to Niagra. The diner was closed due to reduced hours but the owner and waitress were there and they gladly welcomed us in! That is the true definition of hospitality. Andrea makes the best breakfast (pancakes especially) and the Chambers (great conversations) were excellent. It was one of the most unexpected and best eating experiences that I have had in a while. They even offered to go coffees knowing about our long trip back home. I HIGHLY recommend.

My husband and I stopped in a couple weeks ago because we had driven by several times having noticed an outdoor bear statue and bear decor. We were intrigued. The inside comforts match the outside; adorable hand-carved wooden bears hanging on the walls, camping-themed decor, etc. It feels like a camping trip. The menu is fun, too. The items have fun names that draw from both a camping theme and the Niagara Falls area. Good portion sizes and quality ingredients. The staff was very friendly and personable; especially our waitress Savannah. Will definitely return.

Place is super easy to get to. Cozy atmosphere nothing crazy. Only 1 waitress and 1 little old lady cooking so the wait was longer but the food was good.

We loved our experience!! Colleen (I think that was her name) was very accommodating especially since we walked in at the last hour. Food was delicious and classic. Prepared with care. Decor was homey and cute and quaint. Please visit the Brown Bear Diner!!

My boyfriend and I went for a late breakfast/brunch during our stay in Niagara Falls!! Amazing service and great food!! I wish we didn’t live so far - I would definitely go more often! Definitely will go again next time we’re in town!

Excellent. Service was great. Food is homemade. French toast was perfect. We are from out of town and most reviews for other restai were....well.... suspicious. This place though.... excellent. And well be back tomorrow.

Great food! Great owner! Great waitress! Great cook!The pancakes were thick and fluffy. The eggs were cooked great. The potatoes were cooked great. And the sausage was juicy and tasted delicious! The owner is a women who take Sher business very seriously! Very good diner. I recommend everyone tries it.

I haven’t been so pleasantly impressed in a place as I am in the Brown Bear Diner in a very long time. I would be nuts to spend my money on breakfast anywhere else on niagara falls blvd or the local area if it was even slightly possible to go here to this diner in Lesalle.The food was fantastic, I got French toast and for just a bit over $5 I wouldn’t expect much but it was loaded with fruit and berries, whipped cream and there was a lot of it!! I’d spend almost half again as much anywhere else, even fast food places, for food that wasn’t even close to this quality. Even the presentation of it on the plate was pleasing. It wasn’t just slapped onto a plate but arranged with thought to appearance.I’ve lived nearby for a long time, and I have no idea why I did not try this sooner. I wish I had. Ya know when you find a place that’s good enough to tell your friends and family about because you want them to also have a good experience that your sorta sharing with them by telling them? That’s what I’m gonna do here.The waitress (her name was Savannah I believe) also was very helpful and did her job perfectly, not overbearing or neglectful, but just right and radiated positive happy energy. I’m Definitely going back again.I almost never write reviews on anything but this was such a good experience that I have. I wish I’d find more places this nice.

We went for breakfast and the food was great. Service was very friendly and moderately fast. I am not a pancake person but decided to order them anyways and they were the best pancakes Ive had in a while. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pop was flat. Otherwise would definitely recommend.

Cutest place ever! Very homie and comfortable inside. Every table has a newspaper for you to read. The food is fresh the staff is so sweet. Great location. Quick access to the Niagara Falls. Highly highly recommend

We were in town a few weeks before their summer season really gets going. We were met by a sweet lady who both took our order and cooked. We were the only customers there at the time so very quick service. Portions sizes were good and food was delicious. Id recommend stopping by for breakfast if youre in the area.

One of the cutest, coziest diners in Niagara Falls. It has a country cabin kind of vibe on the inside and always a friendly wait staff. Fantastic place for breakfast, I had the eggs Benedict and it was absolutely delicious!

DO NOT GO HERE. I REPEAT. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! For starters: the waitress was so spacey and strange and made conversation about love canal and sewers. The iced water didn’t have ice. The silverware was dirty. I ordered a medium rare steak and it was wellllllll done. The hash browns had no color to them. And somehow this bill was $45. And now I feel sick a half hour after being there. DO NIT GO HERE OMG THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

The restaurant was very cute and we were excited to try it out, but unfortunately no one welcomed us when we walked in...we had to ask if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait. We sat in our booth for 20 minutes and no one gave us a menu or asked our drink orders despite there being only 1 other table. We decided to leave after a group walked in, sat right next to us, and was given menus immediately.

Very very good food, had a couple good sized booths and a big enough table for mothers day brunch for my family of 6. Prices are very good and the location of this hideaway is perfect for those traveling with easy access to the thruway,border,Niagara Falls, and Buffalo. Not to mention, its right on the water which has a nice walkway to burn off the stuffing you get from the food! Highly recommend this place to locals and travelers!

This was my Home Base while in town. The Bear is warm and inviting. Minimally staffed so be patient its worthwhile. Im from the South so I had to endure breakfast without Grits! See yall next year!

Very very disappointed ! STAY AWAY First off at Arrival there were people outside taking pictures next to the Brown Bear wall which made my party of 3 think this place was remarkable ! As we walked inside, stomachs ready for a great serving and delightful service...there were only 3 tables occupied in the whole place. We were greeted right away . As we walked cheerfully to our table that was unclean, the server rushed over to half wipe it down . Menus were not given and were placed in a dirty bin. We ordered drinks first they do not serve unsweetened tea and the tea they do serve is NOT great at all. Dirty cups and there were hairs floating in my water. Water came from tap and was not chilled with ice! Trying our best to overlook the mishap my party of 3 continued our journey on finding good eats. Ordering steak&eggs . THEY DID NOT HAVE. Only a cold and brutally burnt steak-um omelette. Ordered a pancake combo . FORGOT the pancakes this resulting in having to charge less off the bill. I walked out after the hair was in my water ! Portions were child size as if they were scraping the barrel and had scraps to give us. I guess the BROWN BEAR ate it. We still paid for our food but everything was horrible . Service, food, cleanliness, sense of urgency etc . PLEASE PASS THIS PLACE UP . Going to this place makes just about as much sense as going to a junkyard asking for a new car . HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE . P.s. I hope you like animals prowling around as there was cat in the back near the kitchen .

Savannah our waitress, and cook, was so fun and attentive. We had three delicious breakfasts; bacon, sausage and toast, meat grilled exactly as requested, a rib-eye steak scrambler, mouth watering deliciousness and heavenly home made home fries and finally a delightful Irish Benedict, complete with corn beef hash. If your headed to the Falls check it out! Very reasonable prices.

They would say Its going to take a while but wont say how long. For us, it took 1 hour 45 mins after we (family of five) ordered our breakfast to arrive on to the table. We took 30 mins to eat. You can visit this place if you have more than 2 hours to spare. Also, what we ordered was not delivered.

So me and my boyfriend didnt realize that they were only open on weekends when we pulled in on a Tuesday Mid-morning, but the waitress was outside doing some work on the restaurant and welcomed us inside for a meal WITHOUT hesitation. The atmosphere is relaxing and we learned most of it is homemade by one of the staff members. She (the waitress) and her husband were beyond hospitable and we really enjoyed the kindness and attentiveness that we were given. The food from Andrea was fantastic and we ate every bite! At the end of our meal the Chambers didnt even rush us out because they were closed, but instead continued to talk to us, refresh our coffees and exchange stories for a little bit. The couple even offered us to-go coffee for our long haul back to New Jersey. Thank you to The Chambers for such a welcoming experience(sorry if I spelled it wrong). Only thing I would suggest is to change the hours on the website for tourists like us who rely on google to find places to eat 😉

My husband and I just spent an hour, most of the time waiting. The food was just so so and portions were ridiculously small. My husband ordered the spicy bear burrito for 6 dollars and got a burrito the size of a breakfast burrito from McDonalds. We are 90 percent sure the waitress was on drugs. When my husband gave feedback, he got the response of oh well we have a new cook and she messed up. I got the wrong toast, which by itself would not have been a big deal. Over all, the experience was horrible. Never going back.

Excellent we came from Indianapolis to the Niagara Falls and stoped by to get Breakfast and is was amazing they will make your food home style and just how you want it. An overall amazing service thank you for the great food everyone should stop here

We didnt get anything too adventureous, we got pancakes, eggs, bacon, and toast. I really like the pancakes - the thicker fluffy kind little crispy on the outside chewy on the inside. Home fries could have been more crispy but Ill just order them well done next time. Might try the waffles or french toast next time see if theyre as good.

Just okay. Big pet peeve is they charge $1 for a glass of water. Lame. Got quick service though. Food was just okay. Not so clean. Sat at the table near the road and a dead fly was on the window seal.

Might be one of Niagaras best kept secret s! This little Diner sits on the corner right off the highway on Buffalo ave . I didnt notice the parking lot in the back there is on street parking as well but plenty of room in the back and even an empty lot across the street for trucks, uhauls or traliors ! It was very quiet just another table in there with me, my waitress also cooked our meal ! All the employees are skilled in the kitchen ! I was nervous at first thinking there was no cook, but man did she know what she was doing !! Homemade homefries cooked fresh every morning ! Theyre home made hollandaise sause is amazing ! And the young lady taking care of us was phenomenal ! Very up beat and pleasant ! Kept us laughing the entire time ! We will be back ! Thanks savannah ! Well see you soon! Besides not many places I can get a mimosa with my breakfast ! Cant wait to try out the patio!!
