Great breakfast near Niagara Falls. The portion sizes are large, and prices are reasonable. Smaller place, so on the weekends you may have to wait for a couple minutes, but it’s worth the wait. Do not leave without getting the cinnamon roll pancakes. They are by far one of the best breakfast pancakes I’ve ever had. The omelets are packed FULL of toppings to the point that they spill out (not a bad problem to have) and everything comes out hot, fresh, and quick. Waitresses are attentive, efficient, and friendly. Plan on coming back every time we’re in town!

Every visit is fantastic. When people say they make stuff in house, they mean it. The Philly cheesesteak omelet is no joke, in house shaved beef, not anything lesser. Generous sized pancakes, come hungry or with an army if you get more than a short stack.Coffee is always on point, and they use good, heavy wall, LARGE mugs that take more than four sips to empty. Always worth the wait on any day.

The food is really really good. My review is only 2 stars because I’ve been here twice and BOTH times the lady that works at the front with the short hair is EXTREMELY rude. My first visit she had a horrid attitude and kept ranting about us missing one of the people in our party so we couldn’t be seated till they got there. Today I walked in with my son and we were not greeted at all just looked at very uncomfortably by this woman who just stared at us standing there by the sign that CLEARLY says please wait to be seated. Then some young girl who was also just a bystander finally came over and asked how many and if we signed in but NO ONE and NO WHERE does it say to sign in. So this lady who won’t even address me, she just allowed me to stand there. Regardless of that she is extremely unkind and not personable at all. Someone like that should NEVER work at this kind of small cozy environment.

This was my first experience with eggs Benedict. It is their specialty and my friends talked me into. It was very good. Friendly staff. Seems like it would be a great location in the spring and summer, right on the river. Homefries were good, I used ketchup and red hot on them. Bacon was good, lots of flavor and just enough crispness.

You have to try their Stuffed Banana Pepper soup. The place is right off the road with a very scenic view and a wonderful staff. I am so glad we stopped over.

Horrible customer service was told the wait wouldn’t be too long. I ended up waiting 45 minutes. When I went inside they told me I was next and I ended up seeing 2 people go before. Not sure if it was because I was colored or what the issue was but I ended up just leaving. It sucks because I heard a lot of good things about the food.

Ive passed by this establishment a few times and decided to check it out. I noticed that for a few years it changed names and ownership, although Nelsons seems to be doing very well. I had the breakfast sandwich and my daughter had the tuna sandwich. Both were delicious and prices were great. The only problem was, the cook put mayo on the tuna sandwich. Tuna is mixed with mayo, no need to spread it on the bread too. Other than that, Ill be back to enjoy another meal at Nelsons.

Quaint family restaurant. The wait is all worth it. Because of COVID we waited about 30 minutes. We come from NYC. Food is very important to us. Comfortable seating. The main meal with generous portions that stands out in the menu is the cinnamon swirl pancakes. The bacon was really good too.. Theyre the best pancakes Ive ever had. All of their food was well seasoned. Highly recommend this place for breakfast. The prices are very fair.

Here visiting from Long Island and saw Nelsons was highly recommended. I can’t say enough good things! The cinnamon pancakes were the best pancakes I’ve ever had and the side of bacon made them even better. Yvonne was our sever and she was so nice and helpful. We never wanted for anything. Such a nice local spot you definitely need to stop by!

Great service and wonderful breakfast. The place was busy but we were happy we waited five minutes for a table. The food was both generous and tasty as well as being a super value. The waitresses were busy, efficient and pleasant. Two of us had the breakfast special and were very happy. We plan to go back for the rest of the menu!

This little place was great. Stopped in with my two kids for a breakfast. Everything was executed perfectly and the Colleen’s Cinnamon Swirl pancakes are delicious. The cinnamon sugar mix is slightly caramelized when cooked giving it an outstanding texture. The service was friendly and efficient. And even though it’s completely out of their control, the other patrons can only be described as happy, friendly, and down to earth northern folk!

Best Eggs Benedict! I have been to Nelsons twice and I find it to be another fine breakfast place. My omelette was okay but when I ordered the Benedict the waitress said it was the best thing on the menu and it was fantastic! My father ordered off the menu and they did a nice job, he was happy. Dont hesitate if youre in the neighborhood!

A simple dinner setting but the veggie omelette was anything but simple. It was hearty, full of veggies, and so delicious. The home fries were also great. The service was great, the prices were very reasonable. I wasnt sure what it would be like but many recommended this place and Im glad we listened!

Very cute little restaurant/diner tucked away off a moderately busy road a few minutes from the Niagara Falls Airport. Service was speedy and the food tasted great! Great place for a sit down breakfast or lunch with your folks! We will definitely be returning soon!!

Outstanding taste and presentation of their dishes! Their cinnamon swirl pancakes are wonderful and more than I ever expected. Theres a real cinnamon swirl and they have a sweet crisp coating on the outside and fluffy buttery pancake inside. Theyre great even without syrup! I ate them so fast I forgot to take a picture for my review!

They have great prices for the amount of food they give you. Very clean environment, and the staff are extremely friendly. This is definitely one of my go-to breakfast locations that never disappoints.

Service was great, our waitress was on top of drink refill and bussing empty plates before any one knew they needed it. Prices were a touch high but the food portions are huge. Definitely will be back again.
