One of the best breakfasts we had during our 8 days in Canada! HUGE portion sizes so if youre in Niagara and want value and quality for your money this is honestly the best option by far!! We compared pricing vs other chain joints etc and they come up the same so Id honestly recommend you spend your time and money on eating here, had we discovered them earlier during our stay wed have eaten here several times over!

The food and the service where terrible, the server was to busy talking with his.co.workers and couldnt keep his mask on. We went around midnight night, and paid way to much for the quality we received, I do not recommend this place and wont return . I complained about my uneaten poutine and the server didnt care . The cook used a neck warmer as a mask and spent more time in the front then the back . Just terrible Dont go here, go anywhere else .

We have visited this restaurant many times over the years whenever we holiday in the falls and also went in there a couple of times last week. The first visit was great and the waiter was so helpful he even offered us a freebie as we had waited a bit longer than he would of liked. Our next visit Thursday 4 th November was quite different, we were met by Barbara and when we offered our Id and vaccination details she told us to sit down and she would come back and look at them. She came back to take our order and we left all our details were laid out on table and she didnt even look at them. Nor did she check anyone that came in after us. At the end of the meal she looked at what we had left her tip and more or less told us that what we had left which I belive was about 4 or 5 dollars wasnt enough and we should be leaving at least 15 percent tip as the waitresses make minimum wage and the tips are relied on to pay their bills she said it wasnt for her benefit but for us on any future restaurants we went to. She said if we leave a tip like we had done then the waitresses think you are annoyed with them. We thought it was a decent amount and in England if you arent happy with the service then you dont leave a tip at all so she should have been happy. We told our friends about this who are locals and they saidthis wasrubbish and they certainly wont be going in there again, nor will we on any future holidays

Our first visit to Fallsview Casino Resort was June 12, 2004 (yes 2 days after it first opened) and I believe that would also be the date of our first meal at The Famous. Had a quick dinner this past Wednesday and they still did not disappoint. The gravy however did not taste the same... We were joking with our server about this and she took it off our bill (it was just ok but lacked the flavor it normally has). On the plus side... The burgers are still good but I remember when they were only $8.95 lol. I also remember biting into a piece of metal from their deep fryer basket once (if I recall correctly my meal was no charge... Luckily nothing got damaged). Yes we still keep on going back... The food tastes good, the staff is friendly, the location is convenient and yes the prices are a little high but the portions are huge and compared to other nearby restaurants at The Famous you ARE getting your moneys worth!!

The food was really good, first and foremost. Nothing was cooked oddly or missing. It was a bit of a wait to get the food but it seems to be cooked fresh and in really large portions so I can understand. The servers were all really nice and casual. The only issue is that like everything else in the area, its definitely expensive. Be prepared to spend quite a bit!

Service is SLOW and the food is TERRIBLE! And its also extremely over priced. I came here with my family on New Years Eve and it was by far one of the worst meals we have ever had. We ordered 3 chicken clubs and they were not even edible. The chicken was dry and looked like it was seasoned with hope. Never returning here, disgusting food at disgusting prices. I promise you when I say you are better off going to Tim Hortons, not even kidding. Save your time and your money and do not enter this place.

Pricey, but the portions are huge and you can easily share a plate. We were seated by the bar and could see everyones meals being delivered. Everything looked phenomenal and the plates were more then generously sized. Be careful, everything is a la carte and there is a charge for *everything*. My sister asked for gravy to go with her mashed potatoes and what was delivered was a gravy dish large enough for a family on Thanksgiving. We were then charged $4 for gravy without a warning. Normally, gravy would be included at a restaurant. The portion of gravy was too big and most of it was wasted. I feel like the the waiter should have mentioned it would be an additional $4. My only other complaint was that our waiter kept reaching over peoples meals to deliver food... his arms were hairy and he was shedding. Overall, food was delicious and service was decent.

Today is our 11 year wedding anniversary and if it wasn’t for the fascist government we’d be here. 11 years ago, one day after our wedding, our car broke down in front of the Casino. Had it towed, went inside and had the most amazing meat loaf and drinks. Our server was so nice. He saved the night. We’ve come back several times over the years, most of the time on the 24th of April. The first time we were there our server gave us a free desert when we told him we were newly weds. It was so nice of him. Beautiful building also. Next year we hope to have our anniversary there and pray they make it through these lockdowns. This restaurant means more to us than any other.

We ordered at 12am. The waitress was super friendly and offered us directions to the local places, which was helpful. The beverages were delivered shortly after we sat down.I personally ordered a burger with cheese and bacon and a side of fries. The fries were decent. The burger was Horrible; the burger patty was greasy, the meat tasted old, it was super dry and lacked flavour. The bacon was ok, it was cold though, so it was probably sitting for a while before it was put on the burger. However, The chips and fish platter, was acceptable. The fish was bland but, with the lemon and the tartar sauce made it have some flavour. The salad was salad, neither hit or miss.Dinner for two, with no dessert or appetizers was $100 CDN. Personally way too expensive for the food quality and amount. However I guess you truely pay for convenience.

This is the best place for breakfast in Niagara Falls! The orange juice is fresh-squeezed on-site. The coffee is roasted and brewed perfectly. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable considering the location and what you get.Our server was friendly and attentive and gave us good suggestions to make our dining experience great. She made sure we had what we needed before we even had to ask.My wife recommends the Yogurt with granola and fruit. Everything is fresh and hand-made - nothing thrown together from a giant vat of misc. fruit. I had the french toast which came with three different compotes, Apple butter, Strawberry and fresh Peach. I usually just have syrup, but having so many different options really made our breakfast experience special.

Our servers were good and trying hard, they had an American-style friendliness and jocularity that probably plays well to tourists. The food though was honestly just deeply mediocre. Everything was made of really ingredients and actually cooked (which is a plus!), But it was also strangely bland and tasteless. It was ridiculously expensive, and they know it and thats why the menus posted outside of the restaurant dont have prices--they count on you being already seated and not wanting to leave. I feel bad that this is probably the first place a lot of tourists probably eat in Canada. Its not so bad as to be inedible, but it is embarrassing.
